About: Hello i'm Janelle C.(she/her)! A dog walker and pet sitter with 5 years of professional experience at Fur Real K9's as well as with my own clients here in Chicago. I also have a life time of experience loving and caring for animals, including my own two adorable black cats Elizabeth and Momo. In my childhood I took care of all the cats, dogs and horses on our family farm back in Missouri. In my 5 years as a pet sitter i've taken care of everything from geckos to guinea pigs. In that time I took classes in pet CPR and behavior management, particularly for large dogs. I know I can give your pet the love, care and attention they deserve. I hope you trust me to be your next pet sitter! I'm free on weekends (Friday night, Saturday and Sunday) for pet sitting and walking as well as over nights. About: My family has two dogs and I was frequently put in charge of taking care of them when my parents were out of town. One of our dogs is blind at this point and has ear troubles and a bunch of other problems but he is so sweet that he’s still by far my favorite (he’s the big white floofy one if you look at my photos). But my parents live in Cleveland so now I miss my little doggo friends. As such, any new dog I sit will be showered with playtime and affection :) I currently work full time however I work from home. So, my schedule can be pretty flexible especially for mid day walks and things like that but generally after work (past 5 pm) would be ideal. There are no other pets in the house I live in but there is a nice yard to play in if I attach a leash to the porch. The house itself is also very spacious with plenty of room for a crate if need be. I can would be very flexible and respectful when using someone else’s home.
