About: I’ve taken care of or have had animals since I was a child. Currently I have a cat named Ida who is very sweet & affectionate. I just graduated with a Master’s of Social Work. Before beginning my career, I’m taking some down time and taking care of animals. This gives me the ability to prioritize your pets needs! My environment is animal friendly. About: I've taken care of dogs for my neighbors and family friends throughout middle school and into high school! About: I have specific experience with big dogs from years of housesitting-no dog is too big to me! I also have a soft spot for elderly dogs. I am still developing training skills so I prefer dogs that are leash-trained, but I am used to some strong pulling and excited walkers. I can walk up to 11 miles, and am happy to gets your pup's steps in to tire them out for you! I love routines and am happy to create a schedule that works best for everyone. I do work a full-time job, so I only have specific hours I can sit/walk. I do work consistent hours, so I am more suited for a regular schedule to help support you during your work or school hours. I am otherwise flexible and do not mind plans being changed the day of, just please clear the time with me prior to scheduling! I cannot keep pets in my home due to lease restrictions. I am happy to sit and feed pets at your home, or just keep them company. I don't mind watering a few plants here or there either!

About: I have previously owned dogs when I was younger (8yrs -17yrs old), my goal is to provide care for your pet and make them feel comfortable. I will do this by walking, play time, and cuddles and meeting any other needs your pet requires :) I am currently a post university graduate, so I have a bit more down time as things have winded down. Mina is everything you're looking for in a Rover! She was on time every day, sent tons of photos/videos and written updates on our pets mood/state of play! Fantastic communication. Our home was exactly as we left it. Biscotti's food and water was full when we got back. Leila went above and beyond with her care of my two cats while I was out of town! She sent me detailed updates about how the cats were doing every day and how they were interacting with her. Our cat Rocket loves Emily :) Emily took care of Rocket a couple times now during our trip, including some long-term ones. That meant Emily had to come in twice a day, every day, for 2-3 weeks. She wasn't late to a single visit, gave Rocket lots of pets and attention, and sent us a lot of pictures while we were overseas. She truly went above and beyond as a sitter and we cannot recommend Emily enough!
One of my cats had a minor emergency the night before my flight, and I wouldn’t have felt as comfortable leaving him if I didn’t have Grace. She is always so attentive and made sure to keep an eye out for any warning signs while I was away. She’s truly the best of the best and I’m so grateful for her!
Janiyah is by far the best cat sitter I’ve ever booked on Rover, so let me start there. I was so nervous to let someone watch my babies because it was my first time visiting home after moving to Chicago and I didn’t want to leave Chef & Roux behind. Janiyah was super reassuring and wrote detailed rover cards that helped keep me in the loop throughout my trip. At one point my food started to run out for the girls and I had to deliver more to the apartment. She offered to come back to the apartment early so my girls didn’t get too hungry waiting until her next visit. Her compassion and communication skills really stood out to me and I will be rebooking her. Oh wait, I already did! 😆
Quynh is a very attentive and thorough sitter with a genuine care for animals. I asked her to drop by a couple times a day while I was out of the country and she sent me very detailed messages and photos so I could feel assured my cat Evie was receiving very good care. Evie is getting older, can be quite needy, and doesn’t like most people but she warmed up to Quynh quickly. I appreciate that she responded promptly to anything I asked when I was away and was able to adjust to Evie’s needs. I came home to a very happy cat and clean home. I highly recommend booking Quynh for any pet services.
We love Jason! He has been watching our three cats for a while now and he is the best. We recently had to change our feeding/litter box routine and he adapted with ease! Followed our updated instructions and took care of our babies. We don’t leave major cleaning instructions beyond the litter box but he clearly vacuums our place without being asked, which is such a nice surprise to return home to. Not only does he love our kitties like his own but he leaves the house clean which is so appreciated 💜 we couldn’t recommend Jason more!
