I’m the owner of Windy City Pet Care LLC and a Rover caregiver! I love animals and would be happy to take care of your fur baby. I’m certified with the American Red Cross in Cat & Dog First Aid, as well as insured. As a full-time pet caregiver, I can usually accommodate last-minute bookings. If I’m unavailable, I have a backup sitter on Rover I work with to ensure your pet has care when you need it.

Rachel was wonderful! She was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout our trip, and we felt completely comfortable knowing our cats were in good hands. We have four cats with very different personalities, ranging from extremely outgoing and in-your-face to highly suspicious of any new person’s intentions, and somehow they all seemed to really like and trust Rachel. That’s no small accomplishment in our house! We really appreciated the updates and how attentive she was with them. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and would absolutely recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful pet sitter. We’d happily book with her again!
This is the 2nd time I’ve had Rachel take care of my cat Mercurio while I was away + could not recommend her more. She provided timely updates, lots of photos, + detailed notes and even alerted me when she noticed a change in his litter schedule/when he was not feeling so good. Very thankful for the extra care she gives consistently! 🙃

Rachel did such an amazing job taking care of my tuxedo cat, Mercurio, while I was away for a few days. She alerted me if she was arriving earlier/later and provided lots of photos + video of her time cuddling + playing with him + detailed notes on her visits which was much appreciated! She went above + beyond in so many ways and I’m so thankful for the extra love + care she gave to him giving me much needed piece of mind during my trip 🙃

Schedule
I’ve had dogs my whole life, and I’m experienced with giving medication (both oral and injections). I spent one year fostering dogs, so am experienced with all sorts of dog personalities and behavioral traits.
