“Ksenia took fantastic care of our dog Alfie! She was super attentive to him and sent us lots of updates during his stay. He also got along really well with her pup! Would definitely board Ksenia again!”

“Sassy had such an amazing time with Michael and Joanna. They really made her feel at home. They have the perfect setup to take care of your pets with all of the essentials and more! Sassy was able to make new friends and receive all the love and attention she desires. They made sure to keep me up to date by sending daily pics and videos. If you are looking for a safe, reliable, and fun environment for your dog, be sure to book with them. They are true pet professionals that provide the support and care needed for your animals. And they even made a cute collar and bandana for Sassy that she loves! I will definitely bring Sassy back whenever I need a sitter.”

“Timothy was a wonderful sitter ! He shared updates and photos regularly and gave my dog extra food because I didn’t pack enough. He was also very gracious to let me extend my booking on short notice due to travel delays. Highly recommend Timothy and hope we can book with him again !”

“Monica and Calvin were such excellent hosts for our shy Zuko! We appreciated the timely and detailed updates and our dog got along great with wonderful Parker. We would highly recommend and would book again!”

“E has a lovely home and yard well-suited to caring for dogs. E kept us updated on Kodi's status throughout our vacation, setting our minds at ease. Thanks!”

“Fortino was amazing! My dog is pretty high energy and I could tell he was having a great time. Fortino sent regular updates and he took my dog on lots of fun excursions with his own dog. He was very communicative and I could tell he paid close attention to details of my dog’s comfort, personality, etc. He even gave my dog a sweater that previously belonged to his dog but was too small, which was very sweet. Will definitely board with him again.”

“After a quick move to out of state move to Chicago with a vacation already planned, we had to scramble to find somewhere for our dogs go. Our dogs stayed with Ashley for a full week and it was such a relief to know they were well taken care of. We received frequent pictures and updates during the week. One of our dogs is having a hard time adjusting to city life and Ashley was very accommodating and gracious with her. We will definitely be reaching out to Ashley again in the future!”

“Katrina was incredible with Beau, our mini goldendoodle. From the start, she was very responsive, kind and clearly someone who genuinely loves dogs. Throughout the week, she kept us updated with the most heartwarming messages and lots of pictures, which gave us peace of mind. It really felt like Beau was on his own little vacation. She made sure he got plenty of walks and attention, and it showed. I’ve never seen him so happy (or smiling so much). Pick-up and drop-off were smooth and flexible, which made everything easier for us. On top of that, Katrina went above and beyond by providing thoughtful report cards and even a sweet, Beau-themed parting gift. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Katrina to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like family.”

“OMG she was wonderful. Her space was nice and clean she checked in everyday with me I was running late she assured me it was ok my dog went on play dates and much more. I would definitely be using her every time.”

“We have a 14 year old dog who’s regular sitter could not commit to our 3 week Australia trip so I was nervous to find someone new for an older dog. Cheyanne is amazing, she has experience with older dogs and special needs, my dog was so happy with her and even found a “boyfriend” during her long stay. I did not hesitate to book her again for another long trip, our baby ran out of food but Cheyanne went to the store to buy her more “fresh pet” and even gave her a bath! Our dog loves being a high rise dog and Cheyanne spoils her just like we do.”

“Kamiah and Casius were great sitters for Bailey. For me, it was a very last minute booking and Kamiah was incredibly accommodating to make it work. She was also very quick to contact us on the first day when Bailey wasn't eating (but everything was fine, as this is how Bailey always is at a new place), and Bailey looked very happy in the photos and videos we got each day. Also, Kamiah's pick-up and drop-off were prompt and efficient. I definitely plan to use them again!”

“Diana and Scott are the absolute best! I'm usually anxious when leaving Scout behind while we're away, but they took such great care of her that I'll never be worried if she's with them. They were communicative throughout her stay and shared daily updates/photos. I've actually never seen her get comfortable with new people so quickly (she was handing out belly rubs on day 2 which is not typical for her lol). So thankful to have found them as sitters and hope to keep using them in the future!”

“I had a great experience with Sara. She communicated well and was really easy going. She sent pictures and videos. And our dog Boomer seemed to have a great time! I would happily book again!”

“Ania watched our dog Elliot for a weekend. During this time she was communicative and provided us with lots of pictures! He got comfortable fast with her and came back to us a happy dog!”

“Julia was great! I had to book a rover last minute. Julia saved the day. We managed to get a meet up scheduled prior to Kiki’s stay. Kiki got a five star treatment. Plenty of communication. I felt like Kiki enjoyed her stay away from home just as much I enjoyed getting a short 3 day vacay. I will definitely book Julia again. Great location. I felt safe leaving her with Julia and I know Kiki enjoyed herself.”

“Jennifer is excellent!! Total lifesaver taking my dog at the last minute for several days while I was out of town. I loved the videos and pics!! So nice to know our dog was having as much fun as we were 😊😊😊”

“Watched our very young puppy for a night and was amazing, very communicative, and flexible. The puppy seemed to have a great time with him and the resident dogs, and he sent tons of photos.”

“Tania was so great to our doggy, Maca! She took the time to meet her and understand her crazy energy. She kept giving us updates and stay in touch during the time with Maca. We will definitely work with her again ❤️”

“Andres was great with my cat and was able to accommodate another week of visits when I had to extend my trip. He was proactive and made sure to check when her auto feeder was low and refill it.”

“Calvin was fantastic - really helped me out last minute, very accommodating, communication was speedy, and the best part was that he sent videos and tons of pics! My cat was naughty one day and unraveled a toilet paper roll and Calvin was kind enough to clean it up for me. So glad I was matched with him on Rover. Highly recommend.”

“Michael was great with the cats. They both really liked him. He was very diligent - took lots of pictures and provided good updates. He was also very communicative, professional, and punctual. Can’t recommend him enough!”

“Jozelin did a great job with our two cats. Lots of pictures of them hanging out together. She left everything in order after her stay at our place, and we will definitely book with her again.”

“Ericka helped us while we were on vacation by checking on our cat, making sure she had fresh food/water and a clean litter box. She sent us pictures of our kitty and gave us updates at every check-in. Would definitely recommend her!”

“Nadine was great! She was patient with my sassy cat and very communicative with me while I was on vacation. Would definitely use Nadine in the future.”

“Kexin was incredible with my 2 cats! She sent photos every day, played with them so much, and fed them well. When I came back, the cats expected a lot of playtime from me! Couldn’t be happier, would definitely recommend her to a friend.”

“Tandy was definitely a fan of Sarah's and he warmed up quickly in the space. Sarah shared photos and updates on how he was doing during the stay. Overall, it was a successful time.”

“Allison was wonderful with my two cats as a pet sitter. One of my cats had some accidents and she cleaned it all up without any hesitation. She followed all directions perfectly and I will 100% rebook her!!!”

“Yesenia is such a good catsitter. I have had catsitters in the past who I discovered reusing the same photos of my cats, so honestly, I was a little anxious about this trip. But Yesenia was in communication, sent lots of photos, and obviously cared about my cats and their comfort. She contributed to a great trip for me and I am so grateful. I really recommend her.”

“I couldn’t be more pleased and grateful for Breanna’s care for my cat. She is an excellent pet sitter and in the neighborhood. As a first time Rover user, Breanna was above and beyond caring, helpful, and communicative! I really appreciated the daily updates, and she helped answer any questions I had about my cat while I was gone. Thanks, Breanna!”

About: I absolutely love cats. I have 2 kitties of my own (Scully & Cloud) and they're awesome. I enjoy playing and cuddling with them. On occasion I've had to administer medication to them in the past as well, so if you need that.

“Nicole went above and beyond what we could have hoped for Maple! She is attentive, caring, and flexible. She's our person to call whenever we need a pet sitter! Thank you so much!”

“Molly is the best this was our 1st time using Rover and Molly guide me through the process. She took care of my babies and went beyond her responsibilities, thank you Molly”

About: I have a very shy cat and I’ve take care of her for 4 years. Living with her makes me have experience of taking care of a cat. I know cats can be sensitive to new people. I will leave some spaces and time for them to feel more comfortable and safe.

“Simiao was FANTASTIC! We were gone for 9 days abroad, and we had Simiao over through Rover to meet in person beforehand so we could walk through our place, key handoff, meeting the cats, food, litter, water, routines, etc. She took notes, asked questions, and said hello to our cats - one is outgoing, one is shy, she respected both - and let them come to her while meeting them. I actually forgot to send the instructions to Simiao before we went abroad, but she took great notes and was able to make sure the cats were taken care of from day 1 of our trip. We received daily photos, videos, and summaries of how the cats were doing. She cleaned up yucky puke, kept us up to speed on their eating/playing, cleaned their litter box spectacularly (better than we do tbh), and even swept and took out the trash before we came home. She genuinely left Jimmy and Anya (and our apartment) in better shape than we left them. I highly recommend Simiao to anyone who needs a reliable, communicative, and trustworthy cat sitter. I hope she’ll cat sit for us again!”

“Wendy is wonderful and I will not hesitate to hire her again. Her cat photography skills are top-notch, and it’s clear she truly loves animals. She’s very professional and kind. Highly recommended!”

“Katrina is a fantastic dogsitter. Very kind, caring, and communicative. Very attentive to our senior dog who has separation anxiety and veterinary issues.”

About: What sets me aside from other sitters is the love i have for animals. Since i was a little girl I've always loved being around animals they were and still are very therapeutic to me. I've had big dogs from Pitbull's, Dobermann, American bullies, all the way down to tiny dogs; yorkies, shitzu etc. even different kinds of cats you name it. As I've gotten older I've gained sooo much experience to the point I've had at home births with my dogs and cats all by myself; even home training my own animals as well. My goal here is to gain a work related reputation where i can truly start doing what i love and make a name for myself until i can become that super Veterinarian I've always dreamed of being. So far all i have is personal experience with dealing with animals at home and at my job(My residents animals). This would truly mean a lot if i can show off my skills and how genuine i am with animals and even people. Pet Care currently fits for me during the week days. I work doubles every Saturday and Sunday; whereas for school i do online Vet courses which is self pace. Which means i am free during the week Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm if communicated at least at least 30min-1hr in advanced i could stay later if needed. Although, I am a mother which means i can not do any services past 7pm nor any over night services. I also am located downtown Chicago but I am willing to travel!! One thing about me i will spoil your baby(s) haha; I am very hands on and affectionate with animals unless they require space lol. I have never been a crate animal person BUT i know every household is different and every animal requires different training. Again, animals bring a lot of joy to my heart; very therapeutic for me and if given the chance you wouldn't be disappointed i promise!.

“Ashley was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure that my dog was comfortable with his stay at her house while I worked. She was very communicative, made sure to have full understanding of his care, and gave him lots of love! From the moment I dropped him off, I can tell she really cares about the pets she and her daughter care for, when I picked Echo up at the end of the day, he was so sad to leave! I’ll definitely be booking with Ashley again! :)”

“Miss Elizabeth was such a great help allowed my dog to stay with her last minute. Thank you for your help. If we are ever back in Chicago we will definitely come back to her.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs (small mostly) since I was 11. I grew up with two chihuahuas and am currently fully in love with my mom’s current weenie dog. I’ve fostered 3 small/medium dogs in the past 2 years and am trusted with my friends and families dogs for walking and sitting. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and am usually home most weekends (unless I’m traveling). I’m able to be home with the dog and take on walks for most of the day. I live less than a block from Harrison Park, so I will be able to take the dog for a walk and some exercise daily. I also happy to lounge on the couch and bed with the dog if they need plenty of company and rest. Dogs are little fur babies to me and they will be the royalty in the home. Be prepared for many pictures.

“I’ve had dogs for 26 years and it’s very clear that Jennifer and her husband are highly experienced dog lovers. My boy came back to me with a very peaceful energy which tells me he was well cared for. Highly recommend them!”

“Gabriel was an excellent dog sitter for Walnut. He was attentive, patient, and very professional throughout the entire experience. He communicated clearly, provided updates, and always confirmed details, which gave me great peace of mind. Walnut seemed very happy and comfortable with him, and it was clear he genuinely enjoyed spending time with Gabriel. I truly felt that Walnut was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Gabriel and would love for him to continue sitting for us in the future.”

“Timothy is our puppy’s favorite sitter (and ours too!). It’s clear he really understands and empathizes with dogs of all ages and sizes. We’ve had multiple stays at Timothy’s place, and every time our dog comes home happy, well-cared for and occasionally having made new dog friends! We especially appreciate the way he handles our rambunctious labrador puppy- calm, kind, and confident. It’s such a relief knowing she’s in good hands. We’re grateful to have found him, highly recommend!”

“Diamond is an amazing sitter! She truly cares for the dogs she looks after and keeps you at ease with regular updates. My Leo came back home so tired and happy-which says everything, and he honestly didn’t even want to leave her place! Her dogs are wonderful as well and got along perfectly with mine, which made the whole experience even better. Diamond is reliable, punctual, and clearly passionate about what she does. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter.”

About: Hi! My name is Monica and I recently graduated from Indiana University. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. While I was in college, I fostered through local animal shelters, which gave me experience caring for animals with all different personalities, ages, and needs. I’m also currently a volunteer at the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago, where I help care for animals and support the shelter. I work from home, so I’m able to give pets a lot of attention throughout the day. Your pet will never be left alone for long. My dad is also recently retired and home most of the time, so there’s always someone around to give extra attention, playtime, and care. I have a small Yorkie named Tucker and a cat named Penny. They’re both very friendly and used to being around other animals. Tucker is great at matching other dogs’ energy (whether they want to play or relax), and Penny is very calm and tends to mind her own business. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company, I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away! I recently graduated from Indiana University and am now back home in Chicago full-time. My dad is retired and home all day, and I spend most of my time at home too, so your pet will always have company and attention. I’m not super busy and genuinely love being around animals — it’s the perfect setup! I have a private, fully fenced yard and never let pets outside without supervision. My home is spacious, and pets are welcome to relax anywhere they’d like. I also have a 2-year-old, 4.5-pound Yorkie who mostly keeps to himself but is always up for a little playtime if your pet wants a buddy! I’m happy to crate your dog at night if you prefer, or they’re welcome to sleep with me — I’d love that too!
“Amy provided exceptional care for Maeve during her time at daycare. Maeve had an amazing time playing with her new friend Frank, and Amy treated her with the same warmth and attention as if she were her own. I highly recommend Amy and look forward to booking with her again!”

“I have known Monica and Calvin for about 2 years now and they have been truly amazing, caring, kind, and professional to my dogs! I had a fluctuating schedule so had to keep communicating with them to make arrangements and I really appreciated their understanding and flexibility. Most importantly, they shared a report card at the end of the day with pictures and short summary and they were all very helpful. Thank you so much always!”

“Vick is the best! Flexible, easy to communicate with, super nice, dependable, thoughtful, and caring! Best of all, he treated my old, anxious, nearly blind dog with kindness and expertise. “Andres was wonderful with Mabel. He made me feel very secure with her being taken care of the way I would. Excellent job! Definately will book again! Thank you Andres!”

About: While I do not currently share my life with a dog of my own (it's a matter of being unable to adopt every dog I lay my eyes on!), I dearly love helping pet parents keep their dogs happy and healthy and preferably in their own homes while their owners are away. I love to travel, and love to spend time with as many dogs as I can possibly fit into my day. You can often find me chatting with others about their animals, and I am always interested in hearing about every little detail. I enjoy helping people get a greater understanding regarding the welfare of their animals, and sometimes bore my friends with random and obscure dog breeds, and what I know of their temperament and behavior. I'm proud to say I try to research as many breeds as I can so that I know what to expect, and hey, it's always fun to just know why and how a breed came into existence! I happen to also be studying veterinary technology, for the knowledge of nutrition and behavior, since surgery is more information than I want. :D I am also very happy to drop by or stay with your cats, and am quite used to the varying personalities of these small creatures: the ones who like to play hide and seek, the aloof, the playful, and the grumpy. I don't mind at all, as long as the cat is comfortable, eating, and using their litter box, all is well! I can work my day around your dog or cat, as I am a dedicated sitter, and much prefer to spend my time enjoying the company of cats and dogs as much as I can. I much prefer to stay with the dog or cat in their own home, as having their familiar surroundings help them remain peaceful, happy, and comfortable.
“Kexin is so amazing with our big pup, Ace! She is reliable, trustworthy, and great with dogs! She always sends us plenty of updates and photos of their adventures, even when they happen to be in the rain!!”

“Mike was on time and very good about walking our two dogs for a week! When we were busy on the phone, he was very respectful and still able to walk them without interrupting our calls. Thank you Mike!”

“Breanna saved the day during my week suffering from a concussion. After an initial meet and greet Winnie took to her well and Breanna even got her to walk all the way to the lake without much issue Winnie came back happy and ready to nap. THANK YOU! 10/10 Recommend”

“It was a pleasure working with Chauntrell to walk my boy! I received great progress pics and solid communication during the process. I appreciate knowing my son was well taken care of while I couldn’t be home. Thank you, Chauntrell!”

About: From a young age, I've had a special bond with dogs. My parents took in neighborhood samoyeds and newfoundlands that had been abandoned by their owners. I grew up with them, trained them, did my best to make sure their home was loving. Since my neighbors knew I was good with large dogs, I frequently dog sat for them. I quickly became an expert in leash technique, engaging play, making sure they were fed right, and just plain being there for them. I don't have any dogs right now (my apartment is way too small) but I know I'll meet that special fluffy guy when I get a bigger place. I'm available nearly all the time, as I'm not currently working and am only doing occasional volunteering in the Bitter Lake/Greenwood/Shoreline area. I have the availability of a tireless assistant! I believe in respecting a dog's boundries while also being very mindful of their needs. From years of experience I've learned to find the proper balance and give the dog the best experience possible.

She took the time to make sure they were comfortable, shared updates and photos, and went above and beyond with their care. I really appreciated her flexibility and willingness to work with my schedule, especially while I was out of town. I felt confident knowing my dogs were in good hands, and I would absolutely recommend her to other pet parents.”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and grew up with several Golden Retrievers, which helped me build a strong understanding of their care and personalities. From feeding and grooming to exercise and playtime, I learned how to keep dogs happy and healthy from an early age. I also had a corgi of my own, which gave me experience with smaller breeds and their unique needs. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and always make sure they feel safe, cared for, and truly loved. I’m currently a grad student so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time during my week to work around both you and your pet’s schedule. Your pet’s safety comes first. I provide a calm, secure environment, follow routines closely, communicate clearly, and treat every pet and home with care, respect, and attention.

My responsibilities included ensuring frequent and timely potty breaks and managing his high energy levels through structured play and walks. I strictly adhered to his feeding routine and followed all specific care instructions provided by my friend. This experience reinforced my ability to be responsible, attentive, and consistent, confirming my passion for providing reliable care for dogs. I am confident in my skills to adapt to any dog’s individual needs and maintain their comfort and routine while their owners are away. I‘m available before 9 AM in the morning and after 6 PM in the afternoon during weekdays. I’m available during weekends. I’m usually available during holidays because I’m more of a homebody and not traveling very often. I will record and memorize every specific detail and note of caution provided by the client. I treat all these key pieces of information as the main care guideline.

“They’ve been so great and are so helpful for a little pup! They walk her all the time and have really helped us last minute a bunch of times”

About: My family has two dogs and I was frequently put in charge of taking care of them when my parents were out of town. One of our dogs is blind at this point and has ear troubles and a bunch of other problems but he is so sweet that he’s still by far my favorite (he’s the big white floofy one if you look at my photos). But my parents live in Cleveland so now I miss my little doggo friends. As such, any new dog I sit will be showered with playtime and affection :) I currently work full time however I work from home. So, my schedule can be pretty flexible especially for mid day walks and things like that but generally after work (past 5 pm) would be ideal. There are no other pets in the house I live in but there is a nice yard to play in if I attach a leash to the porch. The house itself is also very spacious with plenty of room for a crate if need be. I can would be very flexible and respectful when using someone else’s home.

“Timothy was a wonderful sitter ! He shared updates and photos regularly and gave my dog extra food because I didn’t pack enough. He was also very gracious to let me extend my booking on short notice due to travel delays. Highly recommend Timothy and hope we can book with him again !”

“Jenna was AMAZING!!! She was very accommodating and took great care of Honor!!! I had to go out of town last minute for work and she was truly a lifesaver!!! I definitely recommend Jenna!!! ??”

“Ruben was amazing taking care of Alfredo and Frida, he was always updating about the day of my dogs. Is good to know that we have someone to stay with them so responsible.”

“Samantha is awesome!! Hazel clearly loved her stay with Samantha (and of course, her sweet pup Rosie). Samantha provided multiple updates (and very cute photos), and I felt very comfortable leaving Hazel at someone else's place overnight for the first time. She's great with dogs, very flexible, and knows how to handle high-energy dogs. Will definitely be booking with Samantha again, and I know Hazel will be excited to go back and spend time with her new friends!”

“Nathan did a great job watching my pup, Winston! He scheduled a meet & greet, worked with me to do a trial stay to ensure our dogs would get along well together, and then watched Winston for two weeks. He provided regular updates and I felt confident that Winston was doing well! I also appreciated that he picked Winston up and dropped him off as part of the sitting service. Would definitely recommend booking with Nathan!”

“Iwona is my go to sitter for my Golden Retriever! My dog absolutely loves her and runs to her house when I drop her off. Iwona goes above and beyond with the service she provides - she has offered to pick up my dog rather than me having to drop off and she has always been extremely flexible with timing of the pick up. Best sitter!”

“Sarah was great! Very communicative and sent me daily updates. It was my first time using Rover and Sarah made it a great experience! Would definitely book her again.”

“Tamara is a very responsive and accommodating Rover. Her care for dogs is evident in the way she interacts with them. I will use her services again and recommend her to anyone looking.”

“I had a great experience with Sara. She communicated well and was really easy going. She sent pictures and videos. And our dog Boomer seemed to have a great time! I would happily book again!”

“Katie was great with Ziggy! She was able to accommodate a last minute boarding request and send regular updates during Ziggy’s stay. Ziggy came home happy and I would recommend Katie to anyone looking to board their dog.”

“Ania watched our dog Elliot for a weekend. During this time she was communicative and provided us with lots of pictures! He got comfortable fast with her and came back to us a happy dog!”
