About: Hi! My name is Monica and I recently graduated from Indiana University. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. While I was in college, I fostered through local animal shelters, which gave me experience caring for animals with all different personalities, ages, and needs. I’m also currently a volunteer at the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago, where I help care for animals and support the shelter. I work from home, so I’m able to give pets a lot of attention throughout the day. Your pet will never be left alone for long. My dad is also recently retired and home most of the time, so there’s always someone around to give extra attention, playtime, and care. I have a small Yorkie named Tucker and a cat named Penny. They’re both very friendly and used to being around other animals. Tucker is great at matching other dogs’ energy (whether they want to play or relax), and Penny is very calm and tends to mind her own business. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company, I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away! I recently graduated from Indiana University and am now back home in Chicago full-time. My dad is retired and home all day, and I spend most of my time at home too, so your pet will always have company and attention. I’m not super busy and genuinely love being around animals — it’s the perfect setup! I have a private, fully fenced yard and never let pets outside without supervision. About: What sets me aside from other sitters is the love i have for animals. Since i was a little girl I've always loved being around animals they were and still are very therapeutic to me. I've had big dogs from Pitbull's, Dobermann, American bullies, all the way down to tiny dogs; yorkies, shitzu etc. even different kinds of cats you name it. As I've gotten older I've gained sooo much experience to the point I've had at home births with my dogs and cats all by myself; even home training my own animals as well. So far all i have is personal experience with dealing with animals at home and at my job(My residents animals). About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years, so caring for animals has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have helped raise, train, exercise, and comfort dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I was also a cat owner for over a decade, which gave me experience with pets who have very different personalities, routines, and comfort levels. My family has been pet sitting for nearly 10 years, and I helped with a lot of that care over the years. Through that, I learned how important it is to be reliable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s needs. I am a teacher, but I am currently on summer break, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I have plenty of availability during the day, evenings, and weekends, while still being dependable and consistent with the care I provide. I am able to work around each pet’s routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. In my home, pets will have a safe, clean, and comfortable space to relax and feel cared for. I live in a large 3-bedroom apartment with secure doors that create natural barriers throughout the apartment, which makes it easy to separate spaces when needed or help a pet feel more comfortable. There are no other pets in the home, so your pet will receive my full attention without having to adjust to unfamiliar animals. One of the best parts of my home is the fully fenced-in backyard. There is plenty of space for dogs to run around, play, use the bathroom, or just stretch their legs safely. I can provide walks, playtime, feeding, water, comfort, and supervision based on each pet’s normal routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow the owner’s instructions closely so the pet can stay on their usual schedule. I know how important consistency is, so I pay attention to feeding times, walks, medication instructions, favorite toys, comfort needs, and any house rules. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they are in my home or their own.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs (small mostly) since I was 11. I grew up with two chihuahuas and am currently fully in love with my mom’s current weenie dog. I’ve fostered 3 small/medium dogs in the past 2 years and am trusted with my friends and families dogs for walking and sitting. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and am usually home most weekends (unless I’m traveling). I’m able to be home with the dog and take on walks for most of the day. I live less than a block from Harrison Park, so I will be able to take the dog for a walk and some exercise daily. About: I have had pets growing up all my life. As of now I don’t have a pet of my own. I am experience in house training, walking, playing, grooming, administering medication. I also have experience with senior and handicap doggies. I occasionally take care of my family’s pet or check in on them and take them for walks and feed them while family is out of town. I live in a quiet and safe neighborhood where I can walk your fur babies safely. I am currently a grad student in a medical program, so I have plenty of time to attend to your pet. If your dog needs to be exercised often, I don’t mind going on long walks. I love going on walks. I have a pet fence to prevent the pets from going into unwanted areas of the home. About: I am an educator by training. I am looking for extra work during the summer and school year away from the classroom. I dog and cat sat and dog walked throughout college for four years. I cared for a 15-year-old labrapoodle and I cared for a 7-year-old bordie collie for a combined 5 years. I took them on daily walks, fed them according to a strict meal regimen, and made sure they were safe. The 15-year-old dog had health issues so I have experience in responding to health crisis with elderly dogs and know how to respond in case of an emergency. I am willing to commute, but have limited availability with overnight visits as I have a 19 month old and 7 month old at home.I also have experience with cats! I personally have four cats (ages 2,2, 2, and 4) who I love dearly. I’m able to administer medicine, feed, and care for all breeds and ages of cats. Generally, I do have a full-time job so pet care is part time for me. I’m saving to buy a house and go on a trip so I’m really looking for extra income. Work takes up my time during the day, but I’m available in the evenings and weekends for pet sitting. I’m also available during holidays and the summer. As of 12/2/25: I am currently not working so I have open availability. I have cats so animals need to be friendly with cats. We dog sat for a few weeks and my cats were friendly with the dogs. If the animals must stay with me, I prefer cats as my schedule makes dog walking from my home challenging. I can do drop ins!
About: My family has two dogs and I was frequently put in charge of taking care of them when my parents were out of town. One of our dogs is blind at this point and has ear troubles and a bunch of other problems but he is so sweet that he’s still by far my favorite (he’s the big white floofy one if you look at my photos). But my parents live in Cleveland so now I miss my little doggo friends. As such, any new dog I sit will be showered with playtime and affection :) I currently work full time however I work from home. So, my schedule can be pretty flexible especially for mid day walks and things like that but generally after work (past 5 pm) would be ideal. There are no other pets in the house I live in but there is a nice yard to play in if I attach a leash to the porch. The house itself is also very spacious with plenty of room for a crate if need be. I can would be very flexible and respectful when using someone else’s home.
About: From a young age, I've had a special bond with dogs. My parents took in neighborhood samoyeds and newfoundlands that had been abandoned by their owners. I grew up with them, trained them, did my best to make sure their home was loving. Since my neighbors knew I was good with large dogs, I frequently dog sat for them. I quickly became an expert in leash technique, engaging play, making sure they were fed right, and just plain being there for them. I don't have any dogs right now (my apartment is way too small) but I know I'll meet that special fluffy guy when I get a bigger place. I'm available nearly all the time, as I'm not currently working and am only doing occasional volunteering in the Bitter Lake/Greenwood/Shoreline area. I have the availability of a tireless assistant! I believe in respecting a dog's boundries while also being very mindful of their needs. From years of experience I've learned to find the proper balance and give the dog the best experience possible.

I worked in a dog hotel and a dog kennel which both took cats and dogs So I know how to interact with both, How to introduce myself to them, giving shots and medication if needed. I also know some basic training techniques. Im very good at reading animals and just tend to have a natural bond with them. Im very comfortable with all size dogs. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13, mainly my own, but I’ve also taken care of friend’s and family friend’s dogs in these past 3 years, so I understand the anxiety or fear of leaving a part of your family in the care of someone that isn’t you and won’t treat your pet like you will. That’s why I always adjust and accommodate my services to every pet’s needs. When it comes to basic care of pets, I always take puppies and dogs on walks at whichever time of day that they need to go out, always making sure to bring snacks and water so they always stay hydrated and healthy. I make sure they have enough playtime inside and outside so they don’t get bored and are entertained. I understand that not every dog wants to play or can’t move too much, so I of course adjust these activities to accommodate every pet’s individual needs so they’re always comfortable and happy. I also have experience with senior care, specifically giving dogs the medicines they need at the intended hours of the day or night. It goes without saying that my main priority are the pets in my care so I also make sure to always check up on every pet at different hours and times, rarely leaving them out of my sight (while also keeping my distance if they’re resting) to ensure they’re always okay. I work part-time remotely since I finished university in March of 2024. So I have no issues with times and days that will work best for you and your pets! I care for pets in client’s homes by making sure they’re never missing anything, from food, water, toys, time to go to the bathroom, medicines if they take them, etc… I make sure pets understand I’m simply there as an aid for them and someone they can play with if they choose to! I’m simply there to ensure every pet is taken care of while also having time to play and give them their space, after all, it’s their home and they need to feel the most comfortable and safe in their own space.
