About: What sets me apart is my 10+ years of experience caring for dogs and the genuine love and attention I give to every pet. I have a dog of my own named Lucy, a Beagle/Boston Terrier mix, and my siblings and I share the responsibility of feeding her, taking her on walks, keeping her active, and giving her plenty of love and affection. In the past when Lucy has been sick, I was responsible for taking her to the vet and giving her medication. I have also cared for several of my friends dogs while they are at work, including taking them on walks, feeding them, checking in on them, and spending quality time with them. I have experience being around both puppies and adult dogs and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I am reliable, patient, responsible, and committed to making sure every pet in my care is safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I will follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated so you can feel confident that your fur baby is in good hands while you're away. I am currently a part-time elementary school substitute teacher, so my schedule can vary from week to week. I typically receive my substitute assignments 1–2 weeks in advance, which allows me to plan ahead and know which days I will be available. On days when I am not substituting, I would love to dedicate my time to caring for your pets. I am generally available Monday through Friday from as early as 6 AM to 7 PM, depending on my school schedule. I’m hoping to make pet care a fun and rewarding side job while providing reliable, loving care for your furry family members. When caring for a pet in their home, I make sure to follow their normal routine and the instructions provided by their owner. I will make sure they have fresh food and water, take them for their scheduled walks or potty breaks, and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I will also make sure their environment is safe and clean before I leave. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, habits, and specific needs. If they need medication or have any special instructions, I will carefully follow the owner's directions. I will also send updates and photos during my visit so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and being well cared for while you're away.

About: I’m sure all sitters say this but I genuinely have a seat for being with animals. Sometimes I prefer them over people and treat them like they’re my own. I love all of their personalities and quirks. Anywhere I go I ask to pet someone’s dog and respect what the dog’s body language is telling me. I have a Siberian husky so I have had to learn how to read body language and potential environmental stressors very well. I invest a generous amount of time into learning about dog breeds and am always opening to learning more! Currently, I am home for the holidays with plenty of time to care for your pets while you’re away! I have access to a car and am eager to work. Extensive experience with dogs, slightly less with cats but always open to caring! I love giving them constant stimulation and walks. Pets and treats are always given. I treat all dogs like they’re my own. I have an eye on them almost at all times.

I am also an approved dog-walker / caregiver for Chicago Animal Care and Control, trained in their strict techniques, so I am comfortable caring for, walking, and exhausting small to large dogs. I am mostly available for walks during weekdays: Mon - Fri, 9a - 5p Happy to care for your pup where they are most comfortable, in your home! Even if you have a fully fenced yard, you can trust that I'll never leave them unsupervised and unleashed, outside. If you do not have a fenced yard, we will have lots of fun getting our steps in, around the neighborhood! Comfortable getting your pup in and out of crates/kennels if needed, and getting them harnessed up for walks. Will *always* pick up any and all poop your pup leaves, whether in your yard or on our walks.

About: I have taken care of family pets my whole life, no pets are allowed in my household so I have taken every opportunity to interact with and care for animals outside of my home. I make sure to keep up with their needs while also providing them an enjoyable environment! I work from home so I am able to relocate wherever there is WiFi connection, the work isn’t too demanding so I am able to care for pets immediately. I work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and have 24/7 availability! I have an hour lunch break and am also available anytime after work and on weekends! I cannot have animals in my home so being in a clients home is best for me. I adhere to all instruction given by owners and follow the schedules set for the animal. I am open to entertaining and watching after the animal at all hours!
