About: Hello - I’m Rick! I've lived with dogs all my life, and had a cat when I was a teenager. My girlfriend, Cristina, and I are passionate about pets and animal advocacy — we have fostered eight dogs a various ages and breeds through a local animal shelter. We've provided lots of care and training to help them prepare for their forever home and are familiar with administering medications to pets as needed. We live in a house with a fenced backyard and we are two blocks from a state park where we spend lots of time walking and enjoying nature with our pets. We’re excited to meet you and your pet(s) and provide the individualized care, comfort, and peace of mind every pet parent seeks!! For the safety of our pets and those we are caring for dogs we host, we highly prefer for the dogs to be crate trained but we can discuss if they are not. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions! My girlfriend works from home during the day and I work night shift so someone is usually always home. Our schedules are flexible and we are usually able to accommodate special requests - don't hesitate to reach out! Our house has a fenced backyard and our guests are free to roam upstairs or we section off our living room area if they prefer to have their own space and couches to lounge on. We can offer crates for small to medium size dogs if your pet is more comfortable sleeping in a crate. We’re happy to accommodate special requests to ensure the comfort of your pet! For new clients, our meet and greets typically last about 15 minutes, and we can have your dog(s) explore the backyard or go on a group walk together. We are privately insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI), in addition to the Rover Guarantee, so your pups are well covered!

About: Growing up with and caring for my own dog has taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention are when it comes to pets. I’m very attentive to a dog’s behavior, energy levels, and comfort, and I always make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. I also have experience with basic grooming, keeping routines consistent, and giving pets calm, gentle care based on their individual needs and personality. I'm currently looking fo a Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine because I’m someone who enjoys staying active, organized, and consistent. While I’m currently looking for a part-time summer job, pet sitting and care is something that also works well with my schedule long-term because it gives me flexibility once I start school again. I’m able to balance responsibilities well, and I enjoy spending time with animals as part of my routine rather than seeing it as just work. job for the summer. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, playtime, walks if needed, and a clean environment. I’m very attentive to a pet’s behavior and comfort level, and I always try to create a calm, safe, and loving atmosphere while respecting the owner’s instructions and home. I also make sure to give updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away.

About: Hi Rover! My name is Alex. I have been a pet owner since I could walk; dogs, cats, fish, birds, gerbils, even rats! I absolutely love animals and I am sure I can give your pet the love they require while you are away. I am the fur mommy of Sāj (pronounced Sage), and my angel fur baby Stasi 🕊️💕. Sāj loves other dogs almost more than she loves me. We have fur friends of all ages, shapes and sizes. So big or small, she can adapt and be a fun friend to play/cuddle with. I do work a full time job, however, I have flexibility in my day for walks, playtime, feeding, etc. I can provide plenty of daily updates and pictures. For new clients, I offer a doggie report card and Polaroid photo to ensure your pet was taken care of with the same love you give. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask. I have a hybrid schedule of work from home and office time, with flexibility to ensure your pet, like mine, are not left alone for extended periods of time throughout the day. I have a home with huge fenced yard to roam and play. I live within walking distance to regular parks and don’t mind taking a trip to the dog parks for socializing and exercise.

About: Worked with everything from tiny puppies to seniors at the kennel and proudly volunteer at Chicago PAWS. I am currently working part time but will be starting school in the fall so Im available Wednesdays-Sundays after 12pm Wednesday and Fridays: Evening shifts only (2pm-8pm) Saturdays: Morning shifts only (8am-12pm) Sundays: Both morning and evening shifts. (8am-8pm) Strongly prioritize a stress free space by following specific care routines and keeping the environment super clean. My experience at the kennel and at PAWS means that I am aware of safety procedures and keeping an eye out for health changes.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a child and owned a few so nothing really intimidates me about any dog or cat. But personally, I do love cats more. They’re just much more my personality. About: I have had a dog my whole life! I’m great with animals because I’m patient, caring, and responsible. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m attentive to their needs and always make sure they have proper food, exercise, attention, and care. I’m currently working Mondays and Thursdays so I am available everyday except for that. Normally I have a very flexible schedule and am available at any time. I have been a nanny for the last three years so i’m comfortable with caring for pets in homes. I will pick up after animal on walks (if walks are needed). Make sure everything is locked behind me, and follow any other instructions you may have.

Your pet will be staying in my home, so they will have the whole house to themselves. I take extra long walks to the park and the beach often. Working with dogs and cats gives me what we need in order to stay fit and mental stable. I will have your doggies tired at the end of the day!! I have a fenced yard and lots of toys and entertainment, though I am not currently looking to bring animals into my own home, as I have two cats who I'd like to keep safe from any accidents! In your home I can do my best work, letting out on a schedule, feeding at feeding times, playing and entertainment and any medications they may need! All animals are different, some may have different quirks or traits that need extra care or special routines that I can follow!
