About: Hello - I’m Rick! I've lived with dogs all my life, and had a cat when I was a teenager. My girlfriend, Cristina, and I are passionate about pets and animal advocacy — we have fostered eight dogs a various ages and breeds through a local animal shelter. We've provided lots of care and training to help them prepare for their forever home and are familiar with administering medications to pets as needed. We live in a house with a fenced backyard and we are two blocks from a state park where we spend lots of time walking and enjoying nature with our pets. We’re excited to meet you and your pet(s) and provide the individualized care, comfort, and peace of mind every pet parent seeks!! For the safety of our pets and those we are caring for dogs we host, we highly prefer for the dogs to be crate trained but we can discuss if they are not. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions! My girlfriend works from home during the day and I work night shift so someone is usually always home. Our schedules are flexible and we are usually able to accommodate special requests - don't hesitate to reach out! Our house has a fenced backyard and our guests are free to roam upstairs or we section off our living room area if they prefer to have their own space and couches to lounge on. We can offer crates for small to medium size dogs if your pet is more comfortable sleeping in a crate. We’re happy to accommodate special requests to ensure the comfort of your pet! For new clients, our meet and greets typically last about 15 minutes, and we can have your dog(s) explore the backyard or go on a group walk together. We are privately insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI), in addition to the Rover Guarantee, so your pups are well covered!

About: I grew up in a multi pet home and learned to walk, train and groom pets from a young age. I cared for the last family dog through her medically tedious senior years. Through college I pet sat and walked for friends and family. For 2 years I worked for a veterinary clinic, although my job was marketing I often was asked to assist with holding and monitoring patients. When I became a pet owner I adopted puppies raising them through potty and crate training. I am proud to say they continue to be healthy and happy. Now we foster and pet sit dogs of all ages and sizes because of the dog friendly environment we’ve created at home. My success in pet lies with gaining the pets trust. I approach them slowly and go at their pace, sitting and waiting on the ground if necessary. I am pet sitting and walking full time so I have plenty of time to dedicate to my clients! Dogs are typically walked and out between 7am and 9pm. I have a fully fenced yard with ample room for running and playing. There are four resident dogs who are friendly and used to guests. We can crate your pup or have them sleep in a bed or in bed with me. Water is available at all times through a 2 gallon water dispenser.

About: I have three years of pet care experience and love keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable. I’m attentive to their needs and committed to providing loving, dependable care. I currently work part-time, so I have flexible availability for pet care, including weekday visits and walks. I’m happy to coordinate schedules that work best for you and your pet. About: I have up to a eight years of experience taking care of animals. The most known being cats, dogs, birds, and some farmlife. I also have experience in grooming regarding bathing dogs and cats. This is something I am currently working toward furthering my career in. I am currently unemployed, although I am working on getting a job. I care for two cats at home full time as well as the occasional care of my roommate's pet skink. I have a 7 year old and an 8 month old who is sometimes a full-time job himself. I currently live in an apartment so I do not offer care at my home due to my lease not allowing it. However, within the home of my client I try to keep a common eye on the animals, making sure they are fed, have water, and if required the litterbox/bathroom is done whenever they need it.

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats for years in different sizes and different care needs. I have watched dogs and cats for family members for days at a time I work from home and can keep an eye on the pets the whole time and take breaks for having to go at anytime that they need. I can feed them and give them medication if necessary. Also no open foods or dangerous things for them to get into. I also do not smoke and have a temperature controlled house

About: I have a genuine love for animals and they can sense that. I have rescued two stray cats. They came at different times to my front porch waiting for something to eat. I adopted the last one and her name is Bonita. As a child, we always had dogs, so my love for them is inmense. For me they are not animals, they are little humans with a huge soul. I work as a freelancer so I have a lot of free time. My schedule is very flexible, so I can accommodate service as long I have one day in advanced notice I have a fenced yard where you dog can play in the company of my sweet and friendly cat. I ca crate your dog if needed. I can walk your dog close to your home. I live close to hyde park, Woodlawn, south chicago, south shore areas where we can walk to different parks or beaches.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. I have walked them, bathed them, cuddles , massages, gave medications you name it. I absolutely love the feeling and genuine love that dogs give so I protect and love them at all cost! A stay home wife with no children home currently, so I’m free a lot! Needing a new hobby I enjoy to consume my days now. I have small babies so the house is already baby proofed! Also can purchase whatever is needed to make them feel comfortable! Not big on dogs being in crates and cages but if that’s what your prefer that can be arranged as well! Long as the dog is comfortable I am happy!

About: In the few years I’ve been caring for various animals of my own and others, I feel I treat them as if they are my own human children. I see them as more than pets but companions that deserves a home away from home. I work from home most nights and have plenty of time to care and closely monitor your pets. Playtime is always a given with my own dogs as well I can ensure you that while your pets are in my possession, they are closely monitored and will be entertained. About: I’ve had my maltipoo since 2020 and have taken care of dogs since then as well. I’m very organized and attentive to your animals needs! I just moved to Chicago so i have a lot of free time especially during the summer while i look for other jobs. I love having new energy around me at all times :) I have a very safe apartment complex with an enclosed backyard. Lots of toys for them as well to make them feel comfortable! About: I have experience with dogs with anxiety who use medication, needy/clingy dogs, and dogs with disabilities. I am extremely thorough and patient in case something goes wrong with them and I maintain a calm demeanor at all times. When it comes to instructions, please provide a brief, detailed description of your pet's daily routine and I'll follow it to the letter. I'm currently a graduate student at CSU; summers are a slow period for me. I am more than willing to babysit pets for as many nights, walks, feeding times as needed. During school time I will do walks, feeding visits and the occasional overnight weekend stay. I am committed to your pet's comfort level and will adapt to their schedule to the best of my ability. I will spoil them rotten because I absolutely love all dogs and cats of all shapes and mannerisms. Even if they hate me. If I am confused about anything regarding your pet's behavior, such as licking paws, over-grooming, an increase in urination, I will let you know about it as soon as I see it. I also LOVE talking to the pets so I will have full-on conversations with them. I'm especially good with repeat visits so if you are interested in having a one-time sitter for the next few years, I'm MORE than willing to take up that responsibility. Familiarity is very important with pets and as mentioned before, I am focused on the pet's comfort.

About: I think the best way to connect with pets is to give them as much time and love as possible. I like to figure out what each dog needs out of the walk. Some dogs don’t need a really log walk all the time. And some dogs need to build up how long they can go. Let me figure out what your dog needs exactly. I also like to take them to doggy parks to see other dogs. If they don’t like it all good we can just play with there favorite toys and cuddle. Also when staying the night they will have a good amount of space. I live in and apartment which I know isn’t the most spacious but most of the day we would be out .

About: I am currently a stay at home mom to a 3 year old toddler. I also have a 6 year old Boston Terrier. Ive been around dogs since I was 8 years old and love how each one has their own personalities. About: I have owned dogs ranging from 5-120 lbs throughout my life. We have fostered shy dogs, ferals, energetic dogs, and everything in-between. Just last year we fostered 22 dogs, some for up to 6 months! I am familiar with administering time sensitive medication, and I am perfectly confident with specific instructions for care. I have a dog wash set-up that we utilize for our own furry friends, and I would be happy to extend that to yours as well! I spend intentional, one on one time with every dog that stays with us and or is receiving home visits, and I make sure they have plenty of play time, couch time, and playful interaction with other dogs (if they're social!). Your fur baby will feel like they're on a mini vacation. Confident with senior dogs, nervous dogs, large and xl breeds. If your dog likes to go on outings, we love going on hikes, walking trails, and dog-friendly establishments with our furry friends! I work from home with a flexible schedule, and am able to give a ton of one on one time to each dog that is in my care. I love taking them on walks, too, so if that is something your pet needs, please let me know! I have a fully fenced back yard, and 1 dog of my own. He is fixed and gets along very well with the ladies, but he likes to be the only boy. If my services are requested for a male dog, I am able to keep them separated with 100% confidence. If your dog gets along with other dogs, they will absolutely be able to run around in our yard. I have experience with intact males and females as well as spayed/neutered ones, and can and will keep dogs separate if needed/wanted. We have a dog bath, brushes, blankets, toys, and balls, but please feel free to bring your own! While I do have cats, they are kept separate from the dogs, so there is no risk of them interacting.

About: My mothers has had multiple dogs for as long as I can remember. I love caring for animals in all situations. I’ve taken care of teeny tiny babies and huge old dogs as well. From super hyper- to the laziest of dogs. I work from home and I have plenty of time to help you look after your babies. I’m home a majority of the time so this will be no problem. Plus I have my own fur baby that I’m taking care of anyway. I have a huge backyard that my dog loves to run around in( fenced of course). I also have a crate that I don’t use any longer but I can pull it out of storage if need be.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was in middle school starting with my own dogs. I eventually started volunteering at shelters which lead to working at shelters, rescues, and animal hospitals/ clinics. I can train dogs in basic skills such as “sit” or “paw.” I currently take care of my senior dog and young pup. I worked in a dog daycare of about 25-35 dogs per group and remembered everyone’s name as well as their personalities, likes and dislikes! I am an all around animal lover! I have plenty of time to play and take care of your pups! I have a business on the side so I have a lot of open availability. I am open to taking your pets to parks or even playing with them in the comfort of their own home. I love cuddling with pets or even just being in the same room if they are not so cuddly.
