About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for 7+ years and have experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve cared for everything from playful puppies and kittens to seniors who need a little extra patience and help getting around. I’ve also worked with dogs who are leash-reactive, have high prey drives, or simply need a little more structure and individual attention. I’m comfortable with pets who need some extra care, too. I’ve given ear medications and cleaned ears for infections and ear mites, as well as administered eye drops and ointment for a cat with a chronic eye condition. I’ve also cared for senior pets who needed help with stairs, had trouble eating, or needed extra attention with their daily routines. I really enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and making them feel comfortable and happy while their people are away. Whether that means a long walk, playing with a favorite toy, sticking closely to their usual routine, or just keeping them company on the couch, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at! I’m currently taking a gap year while studying for the MCAT, so I have a very flexible schedule and spend much of my day at home studying. When I’m house sitting, I’ll most likely be there with your pets for the majority of the day, which means they’ll have plenty of company, attention, and supervision while you’re away. I’m generally available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, feeding, and playtime, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I do have a weekly figure skating commitment on Tuesdays from about 11:30 AM–2 PM, but I can plan around it and, when scheduled in advance, I’m able to rearrange my plans if your pet needs me home. I’m very attentive to the little things that keep pets safe. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with very different temperaments and needs, including puppies, leash-reactive dogs, high-prey-drive dogs, and pets who need extra supervision or a specific routine. When I’m staying in a client’s home, I make it a point to learn the pet’s normal routine, triggers, habits, and boundaries before they leave. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and introductions to unfamiliar people or animals, and I don’t assume that every pet can be handled the same way. If a dog needs space from other dogs, a cat prefers to hide for a while, or a pet has a particular way of doing things, I respect that. I also know how important communication is when someone else has your pets. I’m happy to send regular pictures and updates, and I’ll reach out if something seems unusual rather than ignoring it or assuming it’s fine. My goal is for your pets to stay safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible while you’re away.

About: I’ve worked at multiple dog hospitals and dog daycares and have taken care of dogs my entire life whether it’s my own or a family members. I go through it with the thought in mind that the dog needs to do everything before me so I’m more focused on making sure the dogs get what they need food,bathroom,ect. I go through a whole routine of waking up in the morning and letting the dogs out to go to the bathroom and then bringing them back in to eat and I’ll repeat that at noon and around 7 or 8pm for dinner.

About: Fenced yard front all around. I will be sure your doggo gets playtime and walks to the park. I work from home so I can provide regular supervision and accommodation for any special needs. Currently working from home. I have a routine of a minimum of 3 walks per day with my dog and plenty of outside time in my fully fenced yard. I also make sure there is playtime in additional to treats and other physical needs. I understand that dogs need more than just potty breaks and food and water. About: I’ve had my maltipoo since 2020 and have taken care of dogs since then as well. I’m very organized and attentive to your animals needs! I just moved to Chicago so i have a lot of free time especially during the summer while i look for other jobs.
