With the busy schedules my husband and I have, we use Melissa weekly for recurring walks. She is great about picking up extra walks when we need, so our fur baby has some consistency with all traveling I do for work. Bruno loves her and I love the peace of mind she gives us! Thanks Melissa for all you do!

My Stella and I were extremely happy with Margaret’s dog walking services. My Stella loved her at first sight. A sixty-one pound dog can be hard to handle and Margaret handled Stella with ease. Always willing to accommodate changed walking times, extremely reliable and very friendly. I plan on using Margaret in the future. Five star service for sure!

I recently adopted a rescue who is having a hard time adjusting to new people. Kathryn did a great job with him! Despite him growling at her she was patient with him and helped him calm down so she could walk him. She was reliable and understanding. I then asked her if she could come again last minute and without hesitation she agreed! I would definitely work with Kathryn again!

About: I've had dogs in my home for 10+ years. I have been trusted to watch other people's 4 legged friends while on vacation. They are safe with me! I'm currently in the process of getting a job. I'll need to figure out my schedule so I can make time to walk the dogs. We have a fenced off area in our backyard. In the rest of the yard, I make sure dogs stay on their leashes. They are allowed to go wherever they want in my home with supervision.

About: I take in a family dog alot and have my own kitten, they get along and my babies know theyre in good hands and so are yours !! I work and go to school full time & i cut my hours at work to study more. I have more time to fit in a few hours of my day to help others who cant get to their pets routinez I know how important it is to feel at ease when someone else is caring for your pet. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your furry family member feels happy, safe, and loved. Ensuring pet friendly space and supervision, offering fresh water, making time for play or walk, gives animal the attention needed and can send updates to owners.

Gionna was great! From the first message I sent to inquire through the last message after her last walk with Roxy! Her communication was spot on and her care for Roxy was very assuring. She came for a meet and greet since she was Roxy’s first walker. They hit it off and had great walks while I was gone making me more relaxed and less worried to enjoy my weekend away. Thank you Gionna, we can’t wait to work with you again!

I booked Tabbie to walk our doggies and she was a lifesaver these past couple of days. Tabbie was very responsive, prompt, courteous and on time. She even asked if I wanted to walk them longer which I appreciated that a lot. A tired dog is a good dog and they were nice and tired. I will definitely be using Tabbie for more dog walks!

About: I love dogs. I have had one Doberman, one mutt who was the best, and two English Mastiffs. I had a dog everyday of my life until five years ago when my 200 pound English Mastiff named Max died. It broke my heart and hasn't felt right to replace him. But I love dogs and cherish watching the relationship people have with their dogs. I say hi to every pooch on the street that I pass. Rest assured, your dog will be treated with the utmost friendliness and care imaginable. I work from home so your dog will always have a friendly companion around. A side note. No Pit Bulls, No Rottweilers, No Stafford Terriers, No Husky of any sort, and No Doodles of any sort. I'm sure if any of these five dogs are part of your family that you are a wonderful person and so is your dog. However, they are far from my cup of tea. I work from home. I'm home basically all the time. And other than that, I just work on landscaping my front and back yards. I have a fenced in yard. Your pet is in great hands. I work from home. About: I come from a "dog family" and when I was on my own, everyone always asked me to dog-sit or walk if they were going to be gone all day or on vacation. From there, friends started to ask. I sought out opportunities with anyone who needed services. I am an animal lover to the very core. I love even the smallest of creature, and have owned cats, birds, and guinea pigs. I have taught my kids the same. When I had more time, we ALL use to volunteer at our local shelter until it shut down. Now, I help out more with any TNR opportunities and have a soft spot for feral cats. There is never a shortage of animals in need. The best part about pet sitting as a "job" is that there is really never a bad day. They are ALWAYS happy to see you! To them, it's always a great day. It's impossible not to love that. I currently only care for my own cat, but help out family when asked. Unavailable during the day on the weekdays, but can come early or after 4pm or overnights. I don't do any boarding right now because I have an elderly cat who is a cat :), which means she tolerates very little change. In someone else's home, I care for their animal how they ask.

About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

I can’t say enough good things about my dog walker! She’s so kind and attentive—especially when a big storm rolled in, she stayed with my pup and kept him calm. You can tell she really cares about him. Plus, she has such a great energy and is always so easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!
