About: Fenced yard, structured routine, and attentive care in a real home environment. I provide clean, consistent boarding with clear expectations so dogs can settle quickly and feel secure. My home is set up for structure and safety. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds and temperaments, including spaniels, terriers, doodles, poodles, mountain curs, mixed breeds, and many other small and medium-sized dogs. I’m comfortable handling both easygoing dogs and dogs who benefit from clear routines and boundaries. I have multiple crates in different sizes, a dedicated space for separation when needed, and a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time. If your dog does best with a quieter environment or needs to be the only dog, I can accommodate that with advance notice and adjusted pricing. Dogs aren't just welcome here, they're remembered. I'm currently home during the day with a very flexible schedule. I have plenty of time, space, and love to offer pets who need calm, consistent care while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my routine and brings so much joy into our home. I approach every client's home with the same respect I would want someone to have in mine. I've worked in private homes as a section 8 inspector and a home care aide, so I'm comfortable operating professionally in someone else's space. I follow all house rules, keep things clean, and ensure pets feel safe and at ease while you're away. We live in a pet-friendly neighborhood, and I often take walks around the neighborhood, so any pet will get the benefit of fresh air, familiar sights, and friendly energy. We have a peaceful, fenced yard, and a couple of unoccupied spaces for rest or separation when appropriate. I'm very aware of animal behavior, neighbor pets, and how to make pets feel safe and seen. This is a calm, kid-friendly, and pet-loving home.

About: I am a writer and artist by day and absolutely love animals! I'm looking to share my extra time caring for your furbabies! I have experience walking, feeding, monitoring, and caring for dogs (large-small, puppy-senior), reptiles, small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, ferret etc.), I have my own pets including, two terrier mixed dogs, an American bull toad, and a free roam rabbit. I have cared for my family's dog as well. I am available during the weekdays, Monday-Friday mornings and afternoons. I love to take dogs for walks, hikes, and to entertain them. I had two large dogs growing up, and I walked them both comfortably. My dogs were both energetic, so I am used to excited dogs that love to play. I have done house sitting, multi-pet watching overnights, and dog walking. I love playing with dogs and giving them attention. As a social worker, I am dedicated to helping others in my area and saving money for grad school. Tuesdays and Thursdays I’m working 9-5pm but other days I have three hour class blocks or am working part time. I’m happy to stay over and do walks in between class and lunch breaks at work. Anything near/around Hyde Park and Washington Park is accessible. My rates are sliding scale so please let me know what works for you and we can see what we can both do. I have experience with different walking strategies like harnesses, regular leashes, and going for runs! Growing up, my dogs were energetic when off leash, so I worked hard to make sure pets are kept in safe and supervised locations.
