About: I have had a dog for about 8 years now and I care for her actively! Love my dog and how cuddly and caring she is! Currently unemployed just looking to make some money while in college and I thought why not care for pets I love animals and love sharing that love! I specialize in high energy dogs mainly but I also love medium energy dogs as well! My aunts dog lucky is an high energy dog who loves being active and playing around!! I always feed my dog both dry food and human food since that was she was raised on. I love seeing her joyful and seeing how well cared she is. When I was younger from ages 12-present I would take my aunts dog Lucky out on walks 3 times daily and also feed him! Love me a detailed instruction feeding! Since then I have also walked 2 different neighbors dogs and also have many other people which I house sit for! Came onto Rover to lend an extra hand to those pup parents who need it! Cannot wait to meet all the fur babies.

About: If you have an anxious dog or if you’re an anxious dog parent, then I’m probably the sitter for you. I have a fur baby of my own, my 1 year old beagle Pete, and he is an extremely energetic, mischievous, stubborn, and anxious little guy. I’ve raised Pete since he was 11 weeks old, so I know all there is to know about puppies and take caring for them very seriously. As someone who follows a pretty structured routine for an anxious dog, I know how important it is to stick to schedules and make sure pets are getting enough walks, enrichment, playtime, love, and attention to help them feel safe and settled while their parent is away. I’ve personally paid people a lot of money to care for Pete because I ask for a lot (literally down to leaving instructions to keep Gilmore Girls on the TV because he likes it lol), so trust me when I say there is nothing “too much” or “too specific” that you can ask of me. I completely understand how important routines and comfort are for our pets because I’m the exact same way with my own dog. I also have experience administering medications and caring for dogs after neutering and medical issues. Pete has dealt with prostate issues, so I’m comfortable handling medication schedules and paying close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, and routines. It’s also worth mentioning that Pete, being a beagle, eats EVERYTHING and keeps me on my toes at all times. Because of that, I’ve become incredibly diligent, patient, observant, and adaptable. Some dogs are calm and cuddly, while others need more play, structure, patience, or stimulation and I’m comfortable adapting to all kinds of personalities and needs. As a dog mom myself I know how reassuring it is to get updates while you’re away, so I’ll happily communicate as much as you’d like. Expect lots of updates, photos, videos, and honest communication. I’m also never afraid to ask questions if I need clarification because I’d rather do things correctly than make assumptions. Most importantly, I want people to know I’m dependable and trustworthy. If you tell me your dog needs a 30 minute walk, we’re doing a full 30 minute walk. If your dog eats from a snuffle mat, has a specific bedtime routine, or can’t be alone after dark, I’m going to follow those instructions exactly as asked. I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your baby, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Right now I’m focusing on walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays in clients’ homes rather than bringing additional pets into my own home environment. Pet care already plays a big role in my daily routine, so I’m very comfortable maintaining structured schedules, walks, feeding routines, potty breaks, enrichment, and consistent care. I’m available throughout the day and evening Thursday through Sunday, and I also offer weekday availability Monday through Wednesday during early mornings and evenings. I’m dependable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I totally get how important trust and consistency is when someone is caring for your pet (I am that person that has given our dog sitter a 4 pager play by play of my puppy’s routine lol!). I’m very attentive to routines, safety, and following owner instructions closely, whether that involves feeding schedules, crate routines, medication, walks, enrichment, or household rules. I always prioritize keeping pets calm, comfortable, and secure in their familiar environment and will communicate regularly with updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am so diligent with my own fur baby when it comes to structure but also play time and potty time- so when I say I’m going to ensure your pet has all those things I mean it! At this time, I focus on care in clients’ homes and individualized attention rather than bringing additional pets into my own home environment (my fur baby is definitely an only child lol).

About: I’m sure all sitters say this but I genuinely have a seat for being with animals. Sometimes I prefer them over people and treat them like they’re my own. I love all of their personalities and quirks. Anywhere I go I ask to pet someone’s dog and respect what the dog’s body language is telling me. I have a Siberian husky so I have had to learn how to read body language and potential environmental stressors very well. I invest a generous amount of time into learning about dog breeds and am always opening to learning more! Currently, I am home for the holidays with plenty of time to care for your pets while you’re away! I have access to a car and am eager to work. Extensive experience with dogs, slightly less with cats but always open to caring! I love giving them constant stimulation and walks. Pets and treats are always given. I treat all dogs like they’re my own. I have an eye on them almost at all times.

About: With years of experience caring for dogs (mostly medium to small) I offer personalized, loving attention to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and cherished! My work-from-home setup allows me to provide morning, midday visits, and I have flexible evenings and weekends. Ill be able to balance existing commitments with pet care I have a small fenced back yard with a ranch style house. I have two parks nearby that we can walk to get extra exercise!

About: I have two fur babies of my own that are Golden mixes and siblings. Elvis is the more active scaredy cat if you will while Priscilla loves to swim but is a huge couch potato otherwise. I also have grown up around dogs and collectively within my immediate family we own 11 dogs total of all shapes and sizes! Don't worry, they don't all live together, but they do go on play dates. That being said, I am comfortable with feeding, walking, and playtime as well as delivering medicine your pup may need. In addition, I am comfortable with watching a dog who may have separation anxiety and need full time supervision. Other animals I have taken care of are rabbits, hamsters, and fish. Being a fur mama myself, I know it can be nerve-wracking trusting someone with your baby, however, I will love your fur baby like my own! No need to ask about cuddles, belly rubs, and playtime, those are complimentary! I currently have a semi-flexible schedule to meet your pet's needs! I teach during the day (8-3:20) but am available before or after work on weekdays. I am usually free on the weekends though and update my calendar often. Your pets are my priority so I will make sure to be communicative about my schedule in advance. I like to make sure I follow the pet's routine and I make sure to give them extra love as I am sure they miss their parents! For dog walking, I will ask you about your pet's favorite walking path or generally what they like to do on walks. For dog sitting, lots of playtime will occur!

I had to help care for him for a long period of time and I was unable to reply to any messages on Rover. My dad is okay now and I am available for walks and sitting again. About: I have loved pets since I was a kid. I was obsessed with learning about them. After my first pet died, I was very motivated on learning about how to offer pets the very best life, and this comes through research! I have worked with a variety of animals. Working at PetSmart allowed me to get a better hands on experience as it opened a door to working with cats, sick animals who needed medication, and working with large numbers of pets. This also helped me see what methods worked and what methods to avoid when taking care of our beloved pets. I have a very flexible schedule and will be available for you and your pets. About: I am currently the owner of a goldendoodle named Koa . I have had dogs my entire life from Golden Retrievers to Cavapoos. I love spending time outside with my dog and can provide the appropriate attention your dog deserves. I am available most days of the week as I am a consultant who works from home. I am very patient and loving towards animals. In addition, I am also very close to local dog parks and if you'd like, i'd love to take your dog there to be able to socialize with other dogs. About: I am a grad student in education and just moved to Chicago from Detroit, and sadly my lab and kitties had to stay in Michigan due to my living situation. I've taken care of my dogs, and cats my whole life. I love all animals, and have spent time in the state of Michigan being a dog walker for a small local dog walking business. I have house sat for a few different cats along the way as well. From small-large dogs i'm comfortable around them all! I can be available for the summer Monday-Sunday, Come august 26th, My availability will be MWF and saturday/sunday. Mornings-Evenings I can be available at anytime. I always make sure to see if the owners have any specfic instrutions first and foremost. I will always greet the dog/cat first in calm manner, have them sniff me, say hi, get used to me. Then we get ready for a walk, on walks I'm extremely aware on my surroundings and what could happen or not happen. Water bowls are always full, food at the time the owners said. I make sure to make friends with the animals, and their safety/comfort comes first and foremost. This all will go with cats as well! I tend to be more cautious with the cats so they know i'm there to take care of them.
