“Tara is extraordinarily helpful. I needed someone to visit my cat short notice, and she was on her way to my house within a few minutes. Tara loves pets passionately and it shows in everything she does. She is tuned into cats and gives Jim Catsby so much attention in ways that he enjoys—petting, brushing, etc. Awesome! 10 stars!”

“Nikki was so wonderful and helpful! I had an issue with my keys and she was so flexible and understanding. She went above and beyond helping me and making sure my dog was cared for while I was gone! She is the best!”

About: I have taken care of family pets my whole life, no pets are allowed in my household so I have taken every opportunity to interact with and care for animals outside of my home. I make sure to keep up with their needs while also providing them an enjoyable environment! I work from home so I am able to relocate wherever there is WiFi connection, the work isn’t too demanding so I am able to care for pets immediately. I work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and have 24/7 availability! I have an hour lunch break and am also available anytime after work and on weekends! I cannot have animals in my home so being in a clients home is best for me. I adhere to all instruction given by owners and follow the schedules set for the animal. I am open to entertaining and watching after the animal at all hours!
“I had such a great experience with my Lizbeth! She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. What really stood out was her flexibility—when my flight got canceled, she kindly agreed to take care of my cat an extra day. That meant so much to me and truly showed her dedication and professionalism. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

“SO amazing!!!! Gionna is so friendly and such a pleasure to work with. Not only did she take care of everything we needed for our kitty while we were gone but she went above and beyond to accommodate our kitty’s initial shyness and with Gionna’s patience and knowledge of cats, she was able to get her to come out and play/cuddle too!!! Gionna is so great and really helped us to be able to relax and trust our beloved pet was well taken care of while we were gone. Thank you so SO much again for being so awesome Gionna!!!!!!”

About: I've owned pets my whole life. I currently own two pets: a Coton de Tulear named Kitty and a sweet German Shepherd named Medusa. I volunteer at animal shelters, and work as a veterinarian assistant. I have experience with cats and dogs ranging from newborns to seniors. While I have my own pets, rest assured your baby will have my undivided attention while in my care. I interact with pet on a daily basis. I work as a vet assistant, and have my own pets. I have lots of free time throughout the week that I occassionally dedicate to my neighborhood animal shelters. My most open days are Wed - Fri. Pets will never be left unsupervised in my care. Only pets from one household will be walked at a time. When doing drop in visits I pay close attention to the instructions given by the pet owner, and will ensure the pet is comfortable before departing. I will provide pets access to water at all times, and pay close attention for any signs of discomfort. I always keep a first aid kit handy. I do not offer treats or foods that are approved of by the owner first. If I notice anything concerning I will notify the pet owner. I'll also provide cute update photos for the owners reassurance.
About: Hi there! I'm Maya. I'm a newbie to the pet-sitting scene however I've been around dogs my whole life. I also am a pet mom of 5 years to two dogs, named Millie and Matcha. I've raised and trained them up from 12 weeks old, and loved every minute of it! I've also fostered a few pups in the last two years and helped find them new homes as well! I am excited to start my journey sharing the love and care that I've garnered over the years with your baby and will do my best to treat them as my own. I'm a freelance creative currently going to school online to pursue a degree in Marketing, so my schedule is pretty open and can be adjusted based on your needs! I have experience with bathing, feeding, walking and paying with dogs and am happy to do all of the above when in your home for drop-in visits. I'm able to take care of any additional instructions you have such as medication distribution as well!

About: I take care of all animals in my care, mine or not. I never yell and I don't abuse any animal. I treat them as my own and I make sure that their tail wags every time that they see me. I work as a full time dog groomer and now that Rover has that service, I would like to build my own clientele. I work full time so unless I am doing a house sitting or the place is close by that I can do a fly by, I am not available in the morning most days except weekends. Your dog is never out of my sight unless I allow they are secure in a crate. Any thing that brings me concern will be immediately brought up with you and I will find any solution I can to help.
About: Hi, I’m Sheccid 👋🏼 As a proud dog mom to my Chi-Beagle, Lily, I know that every pup has a unique personality. Dogs have always been a central part of my life, and l've become great at reading their cues and adapting to their specific needs. I currently live in a relaxed home with my husband and Lily. I work from home, so I'll give your pup plenty of focused attention throughout the day. I'm also lucky to have a fenced-in yard, providing a safe and private space for your dog to play and stretch their legs. I can adapt to all types of temperaments- whether your dog is shy and needs a patient hand or is bold and high-energy. If they enjoy making new friends, Lily is available to join us on our walks for some extra socialization. I am dedicated to building a bond of trust with every dog I meet (and their owner) and look forward to caring for your furry friend! I work part-time from home, so Lily and I will have plenty of time to go on walks, play, and keep your pet company while you’re gone. Although Lily is friendly I never leave them unsupervised or alone for too long. I’m flexible with their needs and can crate or give them their own space if they’re nervous.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a child. I’ve loved animals since I can remember and I am very passionate about their wellbeing. I have experience with a variety of breeds and with senior care. I have not had a a dog in my home since my 17 year old chihuahua, Taco Bell, passed away last year. He was my heart and with not having a furry friend at home any longer any chance I’ve gotten to interact with any pup since has filled me with so much joy. Pets are family and I will care for yours as if they were my own. I’m just getting started on Rover and my schedule is very flexible. I can work my day around your pet and their needs. If you choose me as a repeat sitter I will gladly adapt to your pets schedule. I care for others pets as if they were my own. I’m currently unable to host pets in my own home but I will gladly take care of your baby in the comfort of their own home. Being in a familiar environment will help your pet feel more at ease and comfortable. I will be mindful and respectful of your space while I am there. I will follow whatever routines you have in place for your pet to ensure their peace and happiness.

About: I provide reliable, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and different energy levels, and I always focus on making pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine as a nursing student because spending time with animals helps me stay active, reduce stress, and recharge mentally. Daily walks help me get my steps in, and being around dogs honestly makes even the busiest days better. I enjoy giving pets lots of attention, playtime, and care while keeping their routines consistent and owners updated. I grew up helping care for my mom’s dogs and now have a cat of my own who means everything to me. I also regularly care for my mom’s dogs when my family travels to Mexico, so I’m comfortable handling feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and daily routines independently. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment.

About: I have a 3 1/2 year old American pitbull terrier who is sassy! I’ve had her for almost 3 years now and we’ve come a very long way. I’ve loved taking care of her and understand as a single dog mom how hard it can be when it’s just you I am committed to daily walks, enrichment, and feeding for my own dog and I am happy to provide that for others when in need. I understand the stress of trying to find someone who is well suited to watch your pup so I’m happy to meet! I don’t offer services within my home but for my services in my clients home I will care for them as similarly as I can the way you do so that their routine isn’t disrupted too much
About: I'm a 23-year-old who attends UIC for psychology and the OT program. I have had pets since I was little and know how to care and love for them. I know how scary it is trying to find a good sitter to look after your pet while you are away which is why if you book me, I will send you frequent updates including pictures and videos so you can be at ease. I have a fenced yard that is big enough for any dog to run around in, so if your dog doesn't do well with walks, the backyard is enough for them to get their exercise in. If I ever have to leave the house for an errand, your dog won't be alone because either my mom or sister along with my younger siblings will be at home. Your dog will feel at home and can treat my place as their own. If you have any questions or are interested in booking with me, please don't hesitate to reach out. I use to do Rover full time in the summers and on and off through my schooling. At this current moment in time I commute to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays and Thursdays Im not home from 11am-4pm. Although I will not be home at those given times, my mom will be. She is the person who watches any dogs I am dog sitting. My repeat clients know my mom well and she is very trustworthy. All the other days I will be at home. I make sure food or plants that are toxic to dogs are out of their reach, before i let any dog run out to the yard i double check any doors leading outside are closed and locked. For this fall of 2022 I will be providing care for 2 or 3 dogs at a time, everyone will be informed which dogs will be staying with me and consenting before I book. If this is not ideal please let me know if you want no other dogs booked.
About: Growing up, my home was always full of animals so I learned early on how to be attentive to different needs, behaviors, and personalities. My grandma played a big role in shaping my love for animals. She used to care for the neighborhood cats and regularly fed the birds which I always loved helping her. That experience taught me compassion and the importance of looking out for animals, even those without homes. Over the years, I’ve also helped foster pets and took in my first injured cat, which gave me hands-on experience being patient, gentle, and attentive to animals that need extra care and comfort. While I’m newer to Rover professionally, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy making sure they feel safe, loved, and well taken care of! At the moment I am working from home Monday - Friday (8am-4:30pm) and located in the midway area. I am an early bird for those who may prefer early services! I do hope to open up my availability in the near future to make more time for furry friends! I’m also available on weekends. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for and stress free while you’re away! I’m very attentive to each pet’s behavior and needs, whether that means giving lots of playtime and exercise or a calm, gentle presence for more relaxed or shy pets. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy during visits. whether I’m in your home or stopping by for a visit. I always try to stick as closely as possible to your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. whether I’m in your home or stopping by for a visit.

“Beverly did a fantastic job taking care of our cat! She was attentive with pictures and messages on each visit. She even double checked with us about the cat's food routine to be sure she was giving him enough. Lovely experience with a lovely person!!!”

About: I've had cats in my life since 2004. I've currently have 2 cats right now. I have experience with providing medication such as pills. Also I enjoy playing with cats and believe they should be played with. I like to keep things clean for them such as proving them with clean water and fresh cat litter boxes. I enjoy making them happy because it makes me happy. I currently am working full time Monday through Friday. I would have time available on some Friday nights and Saturday mornings. Occasionally I might be available on select Sundays. I can take care of your cats in your home, depending on how you want them to be in your home. If you want them to roam around in your home that's great. If you prefer then to be crated then that's ok too. What ever instructions you leave with me I respect that and can make it work.
