“An excellent sitter who really cared about our cats and took great care to make sure they were happy and healthy. One of our cats has challenging health needs and it was clear that she really cared about this and tried to accommodate that. She also followed our instructions, kept us updated on what was going on with our cats with lots and lots of photos (which was super helpful) and even collected some packages that got delivered while we were away. I think if you want someone who is very detail-oriented and cares about your pet, she is definitely someone I would recommend.”
2. Kathryn C.
“Thank you so much for taking good care of our little babies! I appreciate the little walk outing you did for them. I know it’s not easy to get them ready because they get so excited. You’re the best!!”
3. Toni C.
“Toni is awesome! We were so at ease while traveling, knowing that our two cats were in great hands. Toni left thorough and thoughtful reports and took lots of pictures for us. We look forward to using Rover again and hope that Toni is available to watch them in the future.”
4. Erin M.
“We loved having Erin cat sit for us! She was on time, communicated well and was extremely considerate of other home needs! We would highly recommend her!”
5. Alexa B.
“I've had Alexa cat sit for us several times when I've gone on vacation. She always takes care to make sure that the cats are fed and that the litter box is cleaned on time. Another nice thing about Alexa is that she also gives the cats plenty of physical activity which is greatly appreciated. One final thing that I want to make a note of is that she is very careful regarding how much she feeds the cats. One of our cats tends to over eat and can be food aggressive, so it is tempting to over feed him. Alexa does not give into his demands and helps him stay on his intended diet.”
6. Beverly B.
“Beverly was super helpful and kind with our dog Oliver. He immediately liked her and she was great at communicating and sending pictures/ updates. Will definitely be contacting her next time we need a pet sitter!”
7. Arlo R.
“J is awesome!! He quickly bonded with my pups and treated them like they were his family. They love their walks and play time and are excited when he comes to my home. My pups fell in love with him and it's always nice that he takes pics and updates us on how the dogs were doing at each visit. We knew that we found our forever pet sitter!!”
8. matt M.
“Matt has been a loving pet owner for the majority of the 30+ years I've know him. He's lived with both cats and dogs, and always provides a safe and happy home. When we were younger he was the first person I knew to rescue a dog, who was lucky enough to spend his long life under Matt's care. Matt is reliable, trustworthy, and responsible. As someone who owned a pet care business, I can say Matt would be a great choice as a caregiver.”
9. Luis G.
“Very friendly and gives prompt replies. Looking forward to booking him again next time we need a sitter!”
10. Kaitlyn C.
“Kaitlyn is a fabulous cat sitter! She's my go-to sitter when I have short and longer business trips. My work travel is picking up now that we are sort-of post-pandemic. I'm so happy that I can depend upon her.”
11. Eric H.
“Eric has done a wonderful job with my cat.”
12. Katiri S.
“Was great and patiently cared for my older dog. Would recommend her to anyone. Thanks!!!”

About: I had a big white American bulldog with brown spots named Max when I was 7-18 years old.🤍 He was my Best friend and big part of my family. I remember him being very playful. He LOVED to play rough but never got aggressive! We’d wrestle, play box, and he’d slightly nibble/play bite very gently. Im aware they mean no harm because they usually sneeze letting you know they are playing! He did not need much training because he was such a sweet, smart, strong protector naturally given the proper space and love he needed by my family and I. Now I have a Rottweiler named Bruno! My family and I raised him since he was a puppy🖤 I’ve experienced and am very understanding that the puppy stages are much more laborious due to teething, growth spurts, and mood changes. After Bruno’s puppy stage he grew up to be very different from Max because not all pets are the same! Compared to active Max, Bruno likes long naps, rather be inside, doesn’t bark much, plays for short periods, likes to be pet a lot, spoiled with treats, occasionally walked by my mom and he’ll be a happy pooch for the day! I’ve also taken care of a tuxedo cat and blue nose pit bull when I lived with an ex boyfriend. My ex mentioned to me that his pitbull did not like to play/ know how and that his family only ever bathed him about 3 times in his life. It broke my heart but with enough time, love, patience and gain of trust I was able to get him to play again and let me bathe him! It’s important to understand what animals are comfortable with and their own traits. I learned that his pitbull was scared of the water pressure and had some anxiety. He would only calm down when I sat in the tub with him and although my clothes were soaked and covered in dog hair it was worth it and okay with me. His cat was very quite and low maintenance, she played for short periods usually preferred scraps than her toys, loved the laser and her tunnel, hid in usual hiding spots, and sun bathed a lot by the window. If anything I only found to clean her litter box multiple times and keep her feeding bowls clean. Im currently unemployed. Meantime I look for a part time job I will be very flexible on hours. I will be available to pet sit your fur baby anytime from 10:00am-9:00pm! I personally never used crates because they don’t have a lot of room, in case of emergency your dog will not be able to guard/protect if locked in a cage, and they cannot alert you when they need to use the washroom usually leading to peeing or defecating on themselves. Crates should be used to safely transport them places, for time outs/punishment training, or to temporarily keep distance NOT for long periods of time.

About: I truly believe I took amazing care of my dogs. I never yell and I don't abuse any animal. I treat them as my own and I make sure that their tail wags every time that they see me. I have watched dogs for my friends for a few hours and those were full of play time and supervision. I know the do's and dont's of animal care and I never made a mistake before. I know this is my calling and I plan to follow it. Daycare is only available on weekends but I hope to change that. I am learning to ba a dog trainer so don't be surprised if your buddy comes back with a new trick or two to show you.
15. Catalina R.
“Catalina loves animals with her whole heart, especially dogs. Her dog Zoe is the love of her life and when talking about her, her face beams. She always gives her treats for obeying and never lets her go more than a few hours without a walk or playtime outside. She invests time and money to give her the best dog food money can buy and frequently takes her on trips to the doggy park. Anyone's pet would be in good hands with Catalina as their pet caregiver. She would never take her eye off of them and give them all the cuddles and attention they need.”
16. Lindsey F.
“Trustworthy, showed up on time, and best of all my pets loved her right off the bat!”
17. Jacky & Leo V.
“My cat literally melted in front of Jacky. Big pile of puddly goo. She's was absolutely great and responsive.”
18. Kemond C.
“I would recommend Kemond to anyone! You can really tell how much love he has for dogs. I’m positive that he’ll be able to build a connection with just about any dog there is and he’s a pretty cool guy!”
19. Jennifer C.
About: Hi, My name is Jennifer. I am currently a first year veterinary student. I am looking always spend time with animals during my free time. I have plenty of past experience. Currently, I have a lovely and mighty 15 year old chihuahua and and hyperactive 1 yr old Shiba mix back in my hometown, Chicago. Here, I take care of my boyfriend’s dog, a gentle and high energy 5 year old pup who we believe is an American Terrier mix. I’ve had so much fun caring for and training all of them. They know how to do their business outside, give a high five/paw, handshake, sit and stay. In the past, I have volunteered as a dog walker and done animal care and medical internships with PAWS Chicago and The Humane Society. Additionally, I’ve walked dogs during my free time through an app. called Wag and I had so much fun. Unfortunately, it’s not available in Champaign. Prior to starting veterinary school, I worked full time as a veterinary assistant at an awesome private practice in Chicago. Everyday, I worked with clients and their dogs, cats, and even some birds! Overall, I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages and temperaments. I am also comfortable with administering medications if needed. Throughout my experience I have developed good husbandry and handling skills that can assure the health and happiness of your pets. I am very patient and willing to play with and teach your pet some tricks. In the future, I hope to become a small animal veterinarian to further care for your adorable furry friends! I’m currently a full time veterinary student . However, my schedule can be pretty flexible since our class times vary everyday. I am generally available on weekends. Once the summer break starts in May, I will be significantly more available during the week and on weekends. If you’re interested in my services feel free to reach out. It is always exciting meeting a new pet parent and their pets. I am happy to coordinate the best times to care for your furry friends! I am very cognizant of the importance of paying attention to your pets. So when I am pet sitting I make sure that the pet is comfortable, well fed, and having fun. If I ever notice anything abnormal, I reach out to the owner. I also like to meet with the client prior to the home visit to assure that the pet is comfortable with me and so the client can let me know of any pertinent information. Every animal is unique and has their own personality and likes and dislikes, having this information is crucial to me! It helps me assure that I keep the pet in a comfortable and secure environment . During the visit, I like to keep the owner updated and love to send them pictures of their pets. If I ever have any questions, I always reach out to the owner or make sure that I get clarification prior to visit. I also take notes after the initial meeting to make sure I have all pertinent information.
