About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a large part of who I am. I currently have 4 dogs and 4 cats all of different breeds, sizes, and personalities therefore I am comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs. I have experience giving medication, following feeding schedules, and making sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I also enjoy spending time outside and going for walks. I’m currently a full time pre-nursing student and work PRN as a switchboard operator at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop in visits, walks, overnight stays, and some last-minute bookings whenever possible. My school schedule is subject to change and being PRN shifts could pop up here and there but I am very flexible and willing to work around what ever possibly comes up. In the aspect of my school schedule I have classes mon/tue/thur/fri. Monday and Friday 11am-12:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am-2:20pm and Thursday 8am-2:20pm. Safety and comfort are a priority to me. Each animal has their own personalities and day to day activities. I would like to know what your pet likes, whether it be extra playing time, going for walks, or even extra attention to make sure they feel the most comfortable at home. I am also comfortable crating a dog if it is needed.
“We found Sarah through a mutual dog walking friend and we’re so happy to be able to work with her! She’s so communicative and also so flexible with schedule. Highly recommend!”

“Super sweet. Definitely my new designated cat sitter. My kitties love her!!! Attentive and communicative. You can tell she loves all the pets she watches.”

“Nicholas did a great job looking after my cat. She was always very shy and he would make sure to find where she was which would sometimes take a bit longer as she found new hiding spots. He completed all tasks that I asked of him. He was always on time and very professional.”

About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.
About: I am an experienced, reliable and dependable pet lover. I have grown up my whole life with animals. I recently had to put my senior pitbull down so my house is very quiet now. Pet care is my passion and currently my main source of income and work. I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I am interested in walking, daily visits, or overnight boarding anytime of the week. Our home has a large fenced in yard, perfect for your pup to enjoy some fresh air, or bask in the sunshine. I can take your pet on walks or they can run around in the yard. Or we can snuggle up on the couch and get lots of belly rubs.
“Karli did a great job taking care of our cats! She was great at communicating and sent lovely updates and photos while we were away. I would definitely recommend hiring Karli to check in on your pets!”

“Karina is very communicative and took good care of our cat, who can be skeptical of strangers. But she accepted Karina really quickly. From the video and picture shared with us, you can tell Karina knows how to approach animals and makes our cat comfortable with her. We appreciate Karina keeping our cat company while we are away.”

“Nelli is great!! Our dog Arnie gets so excited to see her and she takes great care of him. She’s flexible and helpful when Arnies needs change a bit. For example she was able to get him to wear shoes for a few walks when his feet had blisters. We definitely trust her with caring for Arnie!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and am an absolute dog lover! I have a large fenced in yard that dogs love to play in. I look forward to caring for your furry friend and helping with whatever they need. I work from home and can usually adjust my schedule to accommodate your needs. I’m available all day or night and weekends as well. Thank you! I have a dog and three children who will be able to play with your animal while I care for them in my home. I work from the house, so will spend the day with your dog. Your dog will have as much time playing in the backyard that they’d like!
About: I am a dog lover who would love to watch over your pet while you’re gone. I have a house in Norwood Park where dogs have free range to roam about and a large fenced in backyard to explore. I am self employed and spend a good amount of time at home. I love dogs & want to use our space to welcome fun visitors! I am home most of the day & am able to let dogs outside & go for walks frequently. If I do need to leave, dogs have free range of the house to explore.
“We are very pleased with our first drop in with Jackie. Our dog is very anxious around all people and Jackie understood Nabi’s special needs, was on time and very communicative! We will be requesting more drop-ins with Jackie!”

“So grateful to Keri for coming every day while we were away to administer fluids to our dog! She’s super sweet and friendly. Would give 10 stars if I could!”

“Elva is absolutely great. She is conscientious, thoughtful and helpful. She did such a nice job with our 5 month old bulldog and taught us a few ways to break her of some bad habits.”

“Best sitter ever! Helped our anxious dogs through a week of our absence and allowed my family and I to enjoy a vacation and family wedding with ease! Thank you SO much, Yazmin!”

“Kimberly was wonderful! It was stressful leaving our cat for a week, so it was a relief knowing she was being so well cared for. We will definitely check to see if Kimberly is available again.”

“Emily followed all of the instructions provided and was very communicative! My puppy Auggie was well taken care of and I would trust Emily to take care of him again in the future. Thank you!”

About: 🐾 About us Certified Dog Trainer (Animal Behavior College – Positive Reinforcement Based Training) I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and what started as helping family and friends turned into a true passion and profession. Playtime is always supervised, and dogs only interact if we’re 100% confident they get along. It’s completely okay if your dog prefers people over other dogs — we respect every dog’s personality. Each dog enjoys free roaming, walks, and one-on-one interaction with us — they’re treated like part of the home, not just part of a group. 📋 Requirements Dogs must be crate trained and comfortable resting in a crate when needed. They must also be up to date on all required vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of every dog in our care. These standards help us maintain a calm, structured, and safe environment for everyone. 📸 Updates You’ll receive daily updates with photos so you can relax knowing your best friend is in great hands. 🐾 Our biggest priorities are ❤️ Love, 🛡 Safety, 🤝 Trust, and 🏡 Comfort. Our number one rule: no dog is ever put in a position where they feel they have to defend themselves.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Norwood Park
Katelyn took my appointment on very short notice and did an amazing job. She was very accommodating and kept me updated throughout the night while I was out of town at a wedding. I’m very new to leaving my dog with someone and Katelyn made the process very easy for me and did a great job keeping my mind at ease. My dog really liked her and had a great time. I highly recommend booking Katelyn

This was my first time needing to leave my elderly cat to a sitter in ages, so I was a bit nervous. But Karli was wonderful! Easy to communicate with and coordinate with, and left me plenty of info and photos after the visits. I definitely felt at ease, and plan to work with Karli again in the future!

Liz was amazing with out 3 cats while we were out of the country! She communicated anything that came up and her experience with sitting and caring for a variety of animals gave us a sense of relief when we were far away. She made sure each cat got some attention, food, play time, and helped keep their space clean and tidy.
