About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

My dog is usually very impatient to begin his walk at certain times of the day. But if I tell him Pat is coming, he sits by the window and waits very quietly and patiently until he arrives, and then lavishes Pat with all the affection reserved for his favorite friend. You can’t put a price tag on the way he looks up at Pat with adoring eyes. Highly recommended!”

She is always well taken care of including daily walks. He also sends pictures multiple times a day and gives frequent updates. He is an outstanding dog sitter - I cannot recommend him highly enough and plan to book with him many times in the future”
“I can’t recommend Rico enough! They took incredible care of my dog while I was away and treated them like their own. The attention to detail, patience, and genuine love they showed made me feel completely at ease. I received frequent picture updates, each one showing how happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for my pup was. It was so heartwarming to see them enjoying walks, cuddles, and playtime. It’s not easy to find someone you trust with your pet, but Rico went above and beyond in every way. I came home to a very happy (and maybe slightly spoiled!) dog. “Charise was amazing with our dog Zoe! Zoe came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. Charise kept us updated throughout the stay with messages and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She took Zoe on walks, car rides, and let her play in the yard with her sweet dog Navi. You could tell Zoe was getting lots of attention and love the entire time. We also really appreciated that Charise dropped Zoe off at home for us. Highly recommend Charise if you are looking for someone caring, reliable, and attentive to watch your fur baby!”

“Olive had a terrific stay with Brian + Challah. Brian is responsible and attentive and made me feel very comfortable leaving Olive for 10 days. We did a meet + greet first to make sure our dogs got along and he asked me a ton of questions about Olive’s temperament, schedule, etc. He even went above and beyond and created a schedule for Olive so I’m pretty sure she had a better time there than she does at home. Brian sent cute pics every day and I could tell Olive made herself right at home on the couch and rolling in the grass. I would recommend Brian to anyone I know, or anyone on Rover scrolling through these reviews.”
