Going on vacation? Your pet can too! It is my absolute pleasure to share my beachside apartment with your critters. I hope to make every pet’s stay comfortable and fun! Aside from being an artist, I have only ever worked jobs involving and working with animals (though my art is entirely animal-centric as well). I’ve worked for a pet sitting company in Georgia for two years before taking on a job as a dog bather in Chicago for another two years in hopes to learn more about dog grooming and general behavioral studies. Throughout my time at both jobs, I have learned much about the ways in which I can peacefully and affectively care for each and every type of pet. I have always found it easy and natural to gain any dog’s trust and become quick friends with them. And over the years I have learned the ways of the cat and how best to make them feel like the royalty that they are. If you book with me, I can guarantee your pets will be well cared for and surrounded by love and affection with each interaction. I hope I can help in providing you with peace of mind that your pet is in good hands.

Emilie was very patient and understanding of our senior dog’s quirks and specific needs (as was her dog Bear). Tulip loved her multiple beach walks and came home in a great mood!
Emilie has watched our two dogs several times at this point and she always does a great job with them. She is responsive and communicative, sends photos and videos, and is flexible with our schedules. The boys always come home happy and tired from their beach vacation! :)

Schedule
I am currently a freelance artist so my schedule is very lose and flexible. Animal care is my second career and focus, so if you have booked with me whether on a weekend or a weekday, I will make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve.

I have a dog that is great at making friends with other critters, and I am located right on the beach, so there is much fun to be had! They will have plenty of company throughout the day and calm and slow introductions to each other in the beginning.

A typical day
I love the outdoors and finding new parks to explore, as well as a beach right outside to enjoy. I am a freelance artist with a very open schedule, so I plan to make daily hikes/dog parks part of the itinerary (unless specified otherwise). There will be plenty of walks in between and indoor playtime and attention as well while I work in my at home studio.
