About: I was the cat girl growing up. All my birthdays were cat themed, all I cared about was cats, even my first username ever was kitties81192. When my dad (finally!) got cats when I was in high school it was a big deal. Since then, I have owned, rescued, as well as fostered my own kittens. I have 6 years of experience working in the pet industry as a pet sitter and have learned many things about cat behavior and care. Many of my past long term clients were cats. I even tried training one of them to do tricks, with some success! I have administered oral medication as well as injections, and cared for special needs or old cats that can't groom, eat, or get around as well anymore. I've looked after all types of personalities, from ferals to lapcats. The more mundane tasks of cat care like scooping litter or changing water filters, etc. are all a part of the whole package and I am happy to help out with any tasks needed to make sure they're comfortable and healthy. I believe in leaving the place just as good or better than when I found it, and take special care to be careful with entering and leaving just in case they're feeling a little adventurous. About: Hi! I’m Samantha. I moved to Chicago in late 2018 and spent my first year here walking dogs for three different companies, while also building up a group of regular clients through Rover. In early 2019, I started walking a sweet, three-legged Black Lab named Bo and eventually began boarding him several weeks each month while his dad traveled for work. Sadly, we lost Bo in April 2021, and his passing left a big hole in my heart. Not long after, I began fostering a three-legged pittie named Abby and ended up adopting her in July 2021. When I first adopted her, my only request at the shelter was that she get along with other dogs. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case as she had a very traumatic history, so I no longer offer boarding. However, I’m still happily available for walks, drop-ins, and occasional in house stays! I can work with all different ages, handle senior care, and have helped with puppy training. I work in higher ed but have a very flexible schedule. My boss is aware that I pet sit on the side and allows me to work remotely when needed. Every family I have worked with has been different depending on their needs. I am experienced in crate training, free roaming, or setting up boundaries to help keep animals safe. I also am familiar with all different collar/leash/harness types and feel comfortable navigating with and around dog reactive animals.

About: I have been a house and pet sitter since High School while working at a vet’s office and all throughout college and many years after. I love a good pet therapy session to keep stress levels down for me and the animal. I have two cats of my own and know how important it is for them to get interacted with throughout the day when we aren’t around, as well as when we have our own overnight commitments to attend. I would be honored to get to spend a little time with your fur baby when needed! I am a fun loving, easy going, and pet (and treat) giving cat mom who loves both cats and dogs! I can’t wait to meet all the incredibly adorable animals possible through this opportunity. I am quite the stimulating pet parent! My cats even knows some commands and tricks. We love some treat giving, toy searching, and you playing in my house! I work for Rover fulltime, so I am always here. I have enough space, and gates to keep 3-5 dogs at a time, if the family is comfortable with other friendly dogs being in the same house with them. I walk all separately unless they are from the same family or the dogs are really good friends. We take about 5-6 walks a day around the neighborhood ranging between 20-30 minutes depending on the weather of the season, and even have a deck with a piece of “grass” where older pets can use the restroom easily or if it is raining, for a quick potty break. We have water in every room of the house, we love to give treats, have crates and gates for alone time if needed, and there is always an opportunity to sunbathe in our house or on our deck.

He shared a bed with a sweet little dog who was missing a leg. Chachi likes the big yard to roam around; he's older so he does not play but he still likes the opportunity to go free in the fenced in yard. Ian can well accommodate little ones, big ones and handicapped ones all together for a nice time to be had by all. Ian offers food on time and often, sets out clean full water (I know other places that do not set out water the whole day) and he accommodates each individual dog's needs.”
About: I do take up to 4 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years. I treat my puppy like a family member and will do the same for yours! Since they are family they are allowed on the couch and will get plenty of belly rubs & cuddles. I work from home. My pup and I go for a walk through the park or around the neighborhood first thing at 7:30 am and then usually breakfast is serve. We go back four our next walk at 11:30/12 then we go out again after work at 5pm. This one’s a longer walk and we follow that with play time and dinner. :) That is followed by cuddles. I will send you super cute updated images so you can see what fun your fur baby is up to :) . I also have a fenced small backyard incase your pup wants to do some light leash free jogging with me.

“Jeff and Ron took care of our standard, 4 1/2 year old Bernedoodle. It was our first time leaving her and we were cautious in who we chose to care for her. Jeff. And Ron lived up to their highly rated reviews! We set up a meet and greet and also decided to have our pup spend a day with them before leaving on our 4 day getaway. Jeff’s friendly demeanor with us and our pup put our minds at ease. We felt comfortable knowing our dog was in good hands!”
“Ian took SUCH good care of my 1.5 year old bernedoodle for 3 weeks when I was traveling for work. I had so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting lots of care, play time and super long, scenic walks every day! Ian was super communicative and sent pictures of Banksy multiple times a day, which I very much appreciated. He told me about the couple of other dogs that he watched as well and how Banksy got along with each. Ian really is thoughtful about how the dogs interact together and makes sure they have safe, supervised play and will give them space, if needed. I know Banks absolutely LOVED being there and was sad to leave! I will 100% be reaching out to Ian the next time I go out of town.”
“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”
“Sophia and Andy were incredible. From the first time we met them, we knew our dog would be in great hands. They easily handled our dog’s personality quirks (both cute and obnoxious) and sent all the photos we needed to know that he felt at home while he stayed with them.
