“Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

About: I have been around animals my whole life and have always taken care to watch cues and communication that animals give to make them feel most comfortable and happy! I have also volunteered at animal shelters to take dogs on walks, feed them, and give them one-on-one attention. Pet care will be my sole job this summer, meaning that I will take full responsibility of the jobs I have with your babies. I want them to enjoy their summer just as much as I will! About: I have been a house and pet sitter since High School while working at a vet’s office and all throughout college and many years after. I love a good pet therapy session to keep stress levels down for me and the animal. I have two cats of my own and know how important it is for them to get interacted with throughout the day when we aren’t around, as well as when we have our own overnight commitments to attend. I have enough space, and gates to keep 3-5 dogs at a time, if the family is comfortable with other friendly dogs being in the same house with them. I walk all separately unless they are from the same family or the dogs are really good friends. We take about 5-6 walks a day around the neighborhood ranging between 20-30 minutes depending on the weather of the season, and even have a deck with a piece of “grass” where older pets can use the restroom easily or if it is raining, for a quick potty break. We have water in every room of the house, we love to give treats, have crates and gates for alone time if needed, and there is always an opportunity to sunbathe in our house or on our deck.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years. I treat my puppy like a family member and will do the same for yours! Since they are family they are allowed on the couch and will get plenty of belly rubs & cuddles. I work from home. My pup and I go for a walk through the park or around the neighborhood first thing at 7:30 am and then usually breakfast is serve. We go back four our next walk at 11:30/12 then we go out again after work at 5pm. This one’s a longer walk and we follow that with play time and dinner. :) That is followed by cuddles. “Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

“Arlene was a great sitter for our energetic puppy. This was our first experience leaving our puppy for an extended period of time, and having our puppy stay with Arlene was the best thing we could have done. “Ian is extremely reliable and communicative. He has watched our dog Evie twice, and we have had no issues whatsoever. He watches multiple dogs at a time, knows a lot of them well from past stays, and is great about making sure the dogs are safe together - Evie has never had any issues with the other dogs and has a great time at his house. She is always well taken care of including daily walks. He also sends pictures multiple times a day and gives frequent updates. He is an outstanding dog sitter - I cannot recommend him highly enough and plan to book with him many times in the future”
“Jennifer was great! She was so sweet to Hazel, clearly treated her like one of the family. She sent us plenty of updates and pictures that reassured us that Hazel was doing well while we were out of the country, and getting along with her dog Tiny. We would absolutely leave Hazel in Jennifer’s care again.”

“Abigail and Chris were so wonderful! We are always nervous to leave Vino as she's old, deaf and set in her ways but after the the initial meet and greet, we knew we found a great fit! Vino seemed very comfortable and bonded with them quickly (and even tolerated host dog Olive). Abigail and Chris also didn't hesitate with all of Vino's meds and special food. We've already booked them again for a trip next month. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our sweet girl!”
