Hi there! I’m Melanie, a Licensed Vocational nurse from California. When I’m not caring for people, I love to look after animals. I have over twenty years experience as a pet owner and sitter. Family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, play, and give love to their cats and dogs over the years.

I currently don’t own any pets but will treat yours like my own! I have over ten years experience as an acute care nurse which adds to my ability to safely and lovingly care for your pet. Service abilities include: dog walking, dog & cat exercise/play, care of sick or senior pets, administering medication, emptying litter boxes, and other services based on my clients needs.

Melanie was very thorough and took care of Gert and gave her her meds. It was unfortunate that the vet gave us new food for Gert's tummy issues the literal night before Melanie came, and then the moment we left for our trip, Gert ate the whole four days of food by gettibg on top of the fridge for the first time somehow. I know that was confusing and frustrating for her, but we this was not something we could control. Gert has never, ever acted that way before, and we had to deal with in real time when she couldn't find the food. It was stressful. I was dealing with some tough family issues in real time, and i know having a slight change was stressful for Melanie, but we didn't envision Gert eating her food. Thanks again for caring for Gert
Melanie is always amazing! She watches our cat Pants every time we go out of town and we never have to worry. She’s in good hands! Melanie always spends time playing with Pants and giving her the love and attention she needs. Always top notch care :)
Wow, Melanie is absolutely fantastic. She loved on our doggo Andie as if she was family and we got the best updates throughout our trip abroad. Andie had a healing leg from minor surgery and Melanie went above & beyond to ensure she was on the up and up with medicine, gentle attention and plenty of sweet walks. We would love to work with Melanie again!
Melanie is absolutely the best. She is so thoughtful and caring with our cat, Milo, and truly goes above and beyond! I never worry about Milo when Melanie is sitting for him. Very grateful to have her!

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible! I’m open to morning, afternoon, evening and overnight pet visits. I’m also available most weekends. Please note: Initial meet & greets and key pick ups are free of charge. Subsequent bookings that require a key pick up are $15

- If your dog has any special needs or disabilities. Any behaviors I should be aware about such as not getting along with other dogs, excessive barking, destructive behavior, guarding of food, and nipping or play biting.
