I’m currently in college but my family has been fostering dogs since I was in middle school, so I have experience with every kind of dog from 8-week puppies to older dogs to three legged ones! About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

About: I grew with a 60lb English Bulldog who had a rambunctious spirit. With him I learned the special needs from particular breeds. Later I had a 5 lb Yorkie. She was a sweetheart that wanted nothing more than to be by your side. They were the best around. I am happy to walk your dog(s), run them in the yard, or spend time with them indoors to break up the time they spend alone. I’m also happy to stop by to feed your cats and give them some one on on time. I like to work within my community. It builds trust between both parties. I’m a college student continuing in the fall. My hours are flexible until then. While I don’t house your pets, I am able to tend to them in your home. I can check a litter box, handle feedings, play with them, and run them in your fenced yard. I’m happy to walk them through their neighborhood or to take them for long walks to a local park. We can tailor the visit to their specific needs.

“This was our first time our 6 year old dog, Kona, stayed over at another dog sitter's home. Our dog is anxious and slow to warm up to people. Jeff and Ron were very warm, welcoming, and patient with Kona. We received regular updates and pictures. Our dog was in good spirits when we picked him up. “Ian is extremely reliable and communicative. He has watched our dog Evie twice, and we have had no issues whatsoever. He watches multiple dogs at a time, knows a lot of them well from past stays, and is great about making sure the dogs are safe together - Evie has never had any issues with the other dogs and has a great time at his house. She is always well taken care of including daily walks. He also sends pictures multiple times a day and gives frequent updates. He is an outstanding dog sitter - I cannot recommend him highly enough and plan to book with him many times in the future”

“Charise was amazing with our dog Zoe! Zoe came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. Charise kept us updated throughout the stay with messages and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She took Zoe on walks, car rides, and let her play in the yard with her sweet dog Navi. You could tell Zoe was getting lots of attention and love the entire time.
