Joanna was great! So sweet with my clingy dogs! Kept me updated throughout my trip and my dogs love her. She’s extremely knowledgeable about dogs and that put me at ease instantly. It was a great experience- I definitely recommend!

Joanna was an absolute lifesaver! ❤️ She stepped in at the last minute before a busy holiday weekend and immediately put our minds at ease. She was so sweet, caring, and clearly loved Louis, which meant everything to us. Even though our original two-week plans changed unexpectedly, she was incredibly understanding and flexible, helping us with a last-minute booking without hesitation. We truly appreciated her kindness, communication, and genuine love for animals. I highly recommend Joanna to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter, and we can't wait to have her watch Louis again! 🐾💕

Joanna again took great care of our girls and our home. She is responsible and was willing to help us with a few things we forgot on our trip. Joanna keeps us informed with pics and videos so we do get too homesick. Most importantly, Josie and Twyla are calm and happy when we get home, usually napping… a great sign

Best sitter we have had for Mick! Daily communication, with pictures and made us feel so comfortable while we were away. It was a last minute booking and she was able to come meet mick quickly and made us feel at ease right away. Our house was spotless and taken care of above and beyond! We can’t wait to have her back.

Joanna is so great with our dogs and they both love her. She was especially amazing this time as I had to make some adjustments in our time frame. Will use her again for sure!

It’s important for me to know key details about a dog ahead of time so I can provide the safest and most comfortable care possible. This includes their daily routine (feeding schedule, walk times, and bedtime habits), energy level, and any training cues or commands they respond to. I also like to know about their temperament—how they interact with other dogs, people, or children, and if there are any fears or triggers (such as loud noises or strangers). Health information is especially important, including allergies, medications, mobility issues, dietary restrictions, and vet contact details. I also ask about leash behavior, recall ability, and whether they have a history of escaping or chewing. Finally, knowing what they enjoy most—favorite toys, treats, or activities—helps me make their time with me fun, stress-free, and tailored to their needs. 🐶
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
