Joanna did a phenomenal job caring for my dog over a long weekend! From the moment we connected, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly passionate about animals.she provided regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave me complete peace of mine while I was away. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly received plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. For a second time, we had a good experience with Joanna. She was very attentive to Carter and Kismet. Plus, she was super flexible with her schedule when we changed our flight home to avoid weather-related delays/cancellations.
Joanna always takes great care of our pups and has gone out of her way to connect with our shy little girl, Winnie. Joanna is very communicative. She's great!

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible I'm currently part time and work from home. I can be available on notice from 9am-10pm. I am able to do daily and weekly care/walking/play.

I have a fenced yard. Two cats who are used to visitors and other animals. I can also crate animal if requested, use baby fence and adapt to living requirements specific to client needs.

A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch is structured, fun, and centered around their comfort and routine. We start with a morning walk or potty break, followed by breakfast and some calm time to settle in. Throughout the day, I include plenty of exercise and enrichment—this can be neighborhood walks, playtime in a fenced yard, games like fetch or tug, and puzzle toys to keep their minds engaged. I also love incorporating basic training refreshers, practicing commands, or teaching simple tricks if the pet enjoys it. For more relaxed pets, we’ll enjoy cuddle time, gentle brushing, or just hanging out together. In the evening, we wind down with another walk, dinner, and quiet companionship to help them feel safe and at home. I always tailor activities to each pet’s age, energy level, and personality to make sure they’re happy, stimulated, and well cared for.

- It’s important for me to know key details about a dog ahead of time so I can provide the safest and most comfortable care possible. This includes their daily routine (feeding schedule, walk times, and bedtime habits), energy level, and any training cues or commands they respond to. I also like to know about their temperament—how they interact with other dogs, people, or children, and if there are any fears or triggers (such as loud noises or strangers). Health information is especially important, including allergies, medications, mobility issues, dietary restrictions, and vet contact details. I also ask about leash behavior, recall ability, and whether they have a history of escaping or chewing. Finally, knowing what they enjoy most—favorite toys, treats, or activities—helps me make their time with me fun, stress-free, and tailored to their needs. 🐶
