About: I am a writer and artist by day and absolutely love animals! I'm looking to share my extra time caring for your furbabies! I have experience walking, feeding, monitoring, and caring for dogs (large-small, puppy-senior), reptiles, small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, ferret etc.), I have my own pets including, two terrier mixed dogs, an American bull toad, and a free roam rabbit. I have cared for my family's dog as well. I am available during the weekdays, Monday-Friday mornings and afternoons. My weekends vary based on my availability but I can be flexible and discuss more in consultation. About: I Love animals. Especially dogs and cats. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all kind. Your pet will be staying in my home, so they will have the whole house to themselves. I take extra long walks to the park and the beach often. You will never find anyone more invested in your best friend. Every hour of every day is dedicated to caring for your best friend. I am very active. I go to the gym 5 days a week. Working with dogs and cats gives me what we need in order to stay fit and mental stable. I will have your doggies tired at the end of the day!! The doggies and kitties have the entire house to their self. I have a big home with 4 floors. I also have a large yard that is fenced in and totally secure. No one gets in or out unless I decide to.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for 7+ years and have experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve cared for everything from playful puppies and kittens to seniors who need a little extra patience and help getting around. I’ve also worked with dogs who are leash-reactive, have high prey drives, or simply need a little more structure and individual attention. I’m comfortable with pets who need some extra care, too. I’ve given ear medications and cleaned ears for infections and ear mites, as well as administered eye drops and ointment for a cat with a chronic eye condition. I’ve also cared for senior pets who needed help with stairs, had trouble eating, or needed extra attention with their daily routines. I really enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and making them feel comfortable and happy while their people are away. Whether that means a long walk, playing with a favorite toy, sticking closely to their usual routine, or just keeping them company on the couch, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at! I’m currently taking a gap year while studying for the MCAT, so I have a very flexible schedule and spend much of my day at home studying. When I’m house sitting, I’ll most likely be there with your pets for the majority of the day, which means they’ll have plenty of company, attention, and supervision while you’re away. I’m generally available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, feeding, and playtime, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I do have a weekly figure skating commitment on Tuesdays from about 11:30 AM–2 PM, but I can plan around it and, when scheduled in advance, I’m able to rearrange my plans if your pet needs me home. I’m very attentive to the little things that keep pets safe. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with very different temperaments and needs, including puppies, leash-reactive dogs, high-prey-drive dogs, and pets who need extra supervision or a specific routine. When I’m staying in a client’s home, I make it a point to learn the pet’s normal routine, triggers, habits, and boundaries before they leave. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and introductions to unfamiliar people or animals, and I don’t assume that every pet can be handled the same way. If a dog needs space from other dogs, a cat prefers to hide for a while, or a pet has a particular way of doing things, I respect that. I also know how important communication is when someone else has your pets. I’m happy to send regular pictures and updates, and I’ll reach out if something seems unusual rather than ignoring it or assuming it’s fine. My goal is for your pets to stay safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible while you’re away.

I am more than happy to work with dogs of any age and have experience with caring for high needs and senior dogs. i am no stranger to a mess and have no problem cleaning up any type of accident. i love all dogs but my heart really goes out to the big pups out there <3. i am quite comfortable with working with dogs that have behavioral/agression issues, given i am properly informed and prepared. i have a fairly open schedule most of the time. i work freelance contractually from time to time, but i am always available to take a break and come see your fur baby. i am returning part time to school in the fall, but that should not interfere with care timings I am very comfortable with dog procedural things.
