Hi! I’m Ximena, a lifelong dog lover with 2+ years of experience dog-sitting for families in Evanston, now caring for animals closer to the city. I’ve worked with medium to large breeds for week-long stays, weekends, and quick drop-ins. I’m also a dog owner of a 15-year-old Shih Tzu, who has taught me patience, routine care, and how to support senior dogs with extra love. Our experience with Ximena was great! She was flexible with the start time and even came by beforehand to meet our pets, which gave us extra peace of mind. She stayed at our home for several days while we were out of the country and was fantastic throughout. During the stay, she communicated quickly and regularly, sending us photos so we always felt comfortable knowing our pets were in good hands. When we returned, the house was clean, our pets were very happy, and she kept them on the exact feeding schedule we had trained them on. Ximena was great! When we met she was taking notes the whole time and was eager to jump in and help Maggie. The day of the sitting Xiema was very timely and so happy to be there watching Maggie. She adhered to all of the directions we gave her and was an all-star sitter. We’ve already scheduled her to watch Maggie again!!
