“Randall was having stomach issues before being dropped off to Angel. He kept me updated and gave great care. Happiest dog ever after Angel watches him.”

“Lech was great! He was very communicative, quick to respond, and always provided updates! Lots of pics and videos which is always fun to see. Our pup had a great time with Rizzo and the other doggies during his stay. Highly recommend!”
“Christine did an absolutely amazing job watching our 5-month old puppy! She sent photos and updates throughout the day, had lots of supplies so we didn’t have to pack too much, and even sent him home with an adorable Polaroid and treat bag. 100% your pup is in the right hands with Christine!”

“Chad and his wife were wonderful! This was our first time having them watch our high energy dog, and we will definitely be booking again! They took such great care of Finly - daily walks and even treat/ training time! We loved the regular updates, including photos and video throughout his stay. Thanks again, both! Finly so appreciated all of your care and play time!!”

“Prince absolutely loves it when I bring him here while I’m away. Joanna always takes good care of my baby. Going above and beyond. Very much so appreciated. Will be rebooking again soon”

“Amazing experience, this was my first time using rover and Kaira made the experience 10 times better. Very attentive, communicated thoroughly and provide pictures to keep me at ease. Will definitely be booking again”

“Sophia and Andy were incredible. From the first time we met them, we knew our dog would be in great hands. They easily handled our dog’s personality quirks (both cute and obnoxious) and sent all the photos we needed to know that he felt at home while he stayed with them. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

“We LOVE Ruben!! Our puppy can definitely be a handful but somehow Ruben was able to make her feel comfortable enough in his home to not bark and to snuggle! We love knowing that our puppy was in safe hands and got to enjoy playing with Ruben’s dogs as well! We will definitely be calling Ruben for all future boardings! In addition to Ruben being awesome, his mom made us the sweetest card and sent Aya home with 2 new toys!”

“Diana and Scott are absolutely lovely and took great care of our Scampi. They were very responsive, sent lots of pictures and videos, and it's clear Scampi enjoyed her time with them.”

“Irene was amazing for our dog’s short stay! She sent regular updates with photos, followed our instructions, and Alkali was cozy while staying at their house. We will book her again.”

“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”

“Ian took SUCH good care of my 1.5 year old bernedoodle for 3 weeks when I was traveling for work. I had so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting lots of care, play time and super long, scenic walks every day! Ian was super communicative and sent pictures of Banksy multiple times a day, which I very much appreciated. He told me about the couple of other dogs that he watched as well and how Banksy got along with each. Ian really is thoughtful about how the dogs interact together and makes sure they have safe, supervised play and will give them space, if needed. I know Banks absolutely LOVED being there and was sad to leave! I will 100% be reaching out to Ian the next time I go out of town.”

“Christian was amazing! He took amazing care of my dog. Every photo he sent it looked like Dallas was having an absolute blast! 10/10 would recommend and would def contact him again”

“Sky was the absolute bestttt with my dog while she spent the week with her. Great communicator and very understanding. My dog had so much fun, she came back home so worn out. Definitely booking her again soon!”

“Julia was absolutely amazing! She took my girl Luna on a last minute notice, and treated my dog like her own. She sent me several updates and made sure my dog was having a great stay. She also gifted Luna with a ball which was really nice. So thankful to have found a great sitter. Thank you julia!”

“Nina and her partner are amazing! This is the second time Goose has gone to them, and we couldn’t be happier. They take great care of him, and we always appreciate the updates and photos. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Sensational!!!! My Nessie was immediately accepted into John and Ryan's healthy and happy home and I am beyond grateful as at the last minute I needed boarding for her with a minor complication. John and Ryan truly are the best and pure animal lovers. THANK YOU TWO!!! Can't say enough~”

“Adriana has watched my 2 yr old cat Cleo a few times now, she is incredibly reliable, friendly, and detailed in her communication. I would highly recommend booking Adriana!”

“Caline watched my two cats for the duration of a two week international trip. She took great care of the boys! She rotated through various enrichment activities I have for them, provided daily communications about their well-being and care, cleaned up any messes my mischievous fellas created, and even brought in my packages! I'm very satisfied with and grateful for the care she provided in my absence.”

“Second time booking with Alina and we couldn’t be happier! She takes great care of our kitty and they get along splendidly. Communication and updates are timely and thorough. We really enjoy working with her.”

“She’s super responsive, sweet, and great with our 2 cats! We’ve gotten many cute pictures of the cats looking super happy and flopped over, it makes my day every time ❤️”

“Roy is amazing! My cat took to him immediately and Roy did a fantastic job playing and interacting with her while we were gone — I would absolutely hire him again next time I need a sitter. Oftentimes when I’m gone on a longer trip, my cat is mad at me when I get back, but Roy was so good at engaging with her during his hour long visits that she didn’t seem angry or stressed at all when I got home. So pleased!”

“Savina is very nice and sent many update photos each visit! My two cats seemed like they really enjoyed her visits, getting the food, water and playtime in while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

“Hope was amazing with our shy cat! She took great care of our girl while we were away and made the whole process easy by being communicative and flexible. We’ll definitely be rebooking with Hope.”

“Elaine took great care of my two cats while I was away. She followed all feeding instructions, sent helpful photo updates, and even cleaned the litter box — going above and beyond. She’s reliable, thoughtful, and clearly great with animals. Highly recommend!”

“Devin was the first pet sitter I got with Rover and she took great care of my senior cat. She took lots of photos and gave my cat her medicine twice a day. Would definitely book again!”

“Laura did a fantastic job of looking after our cat Farsi while we were away on an international trip for 2 weeks! She made sure to give Farsi lots of play time and pets while being attentive to her food and water. Laura also helped keep Farsi’s litter box clean, and we were very happy with her help. Laura naturally connects with cats well. Would highly recommend her!”

“Michele is the gold-standard for cat sitters. She takes such good care of my fur babies which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m traveling. She gives such thoughtful descriptions and sends so many pictures which means so much when I’m missing my cats. She’s the best and I will be a repeat client of hers again and again!”

“Sol did a wonderful job taking care of Birdie! She spent extra time with her to let Birdie get comfortable during her visits, and gave me lots of updates on their playtime together. She made sure her food was fresh and the whole area clean. Birdie seemed very happy in the pictures and I’d love to have Sol take care of her again!”

“I honestly can’t say enough good things about Ruben! We booked him to watch Tsuki for 3 days, and he was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. He accepted our request last minute and was incredibly understanding of my situation. From the beginning, he genuinely wanted to help, which meant so much to me. Ruben was so kind and even offered to show me his place beforehand and clearly explain how everything works while he dog sits. He communicated so well throughout Tsuki’s 3 day stay and consistently gave me updates, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. One moment that really stood out to me was on the 3rd day when I realized I had forgotten to pack Tsuki’s food. I was already feeling stressed and overwhelmed, and Ruben immediately offered to feed her rice and chicken. It may seem like a small thing, but it genuinely meant so much to me in that moment and really showed me how willing he was to help and make sure Tsuki was taken care of. You can genuinely tell that Ruben cares about the dogs he watches. The way he talks about them and the way he gives updates felt so genuine. You can tell that he really takes the time to get to know each dog, pays attention to their needs, and make sure they’re comfortable and happy. It was clear to me that his care for Tsuki wasn’t just because she was staying with him it’s genuinely how he treats the dogs he dog sits for. Ruben is such a great guy with a kind heart and a really good attitude. I’m incredibly grateful for the care and support he gave Tsuki and for how reassuring he was throughout her 3 day stay. I would absolutely recommend Ruben to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely care for their dog and treat them with kindness and patience. Tsuki was definitely in good hands! ❤️”

“John provided such a great daycare for our dog Moose. Moose got to play with John’s adorable dog, go on walks and get out his energy and we got to enjoy pics from John! He was also super communicative and accommodated our rather challenging drop off schedule (it was early!) John will absolutely be my first call the next time we need daycare!”

“Baby girl loved Leeraz! She sent my husband and I lots of photos of her getting cuddly and wanting some human food. Baby girl had so much fun she fell asleep in the car. Will definitely use her again!”

“Leaving Luna with Christine was such a great experience. Christine was extremely communicative, sending pictures and updates throughout the day. She left us with the most adorable goody bag as well, with a Polaroid to commemorate Luna’s stay. Above and beyond - would not hesitate to use her again.”

Since they are family they are allowed on the couch and will get plenty of belly rubs & cuddles. I work from home. My pup and I go for a walk through the park or around the neighborhood first thing at 7:30 am and then usually breakfast is serve. We go back four our next walk at 11:30/12 then we go out again after work at 5pm. This one’s a longer walk and we follow that with play time and dinner. :) That is followed by cuddles. I will send you super cute updated images so you can see what fun your fur baby is up to :) . I also have a fenced small backyard incase your pup wants to do some light leash free jogging with me.
About: I do take up to 4 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.
About: Hi! I'm Maggie. 👋🏼 I've been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. From my very first poodle when I was five years old to my sweet pup today, dogs have been one of the greatest sources of love, joy, and companionship in my life. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Friends and family have always trusted me with their pets while they're away, and I've learned that every dog is unique. Some are full of energy and eager to play, while others need a little extra patience, reassurance, or time to feel comfortable in a new environment. Helping each dog feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pups with a variety of medical and emotional needs. I'm comfortable administering both oral and injectable medications, following detailed care instructions, and adapting to each dog's individual routine. Whether it's supporting a nervous dog through separation anxiety, encouraging a picky eater, or simply offering extra cuddles to a pup who's missing home, I believe that thoughtful, individualized care can make all the difference. To me, caring for dogs isn't just about feeding, walking, or playtime. It's about creating a space where they feel loved, secure, and truly at home until their favorite humans return. I can't wait to bond with your best friend! Caring for pups is the main thing I do currently, other than driving Uber when I'm not booked, and some house chores or studying from home. I will be at home with your pups at all times and I will have plenty of free time to play and interact with them. We have a large porch and fully fenced back-yard with a large tree where all pups love to run around and play. If the weather is nice, we are likely to spend most of the day outside, either at home or Palmer's park across the street. We allow our pups and guest pups on the couches and beds. I make sure the pups get a lot of attention and interactions, and also some needed down-time.
“It was super easy to schedule daycare with Lech & Briseida and they were really understanding when I was running late picking Nala up. Nala had a great time with them and came back tired :)”
“Dash has stayed with Stephanie several times--she's so amazing! It's always hard when I have to leave Dash, even just for the day, but I know he's in good hands with Stephanie and is well taken care of. I can't thank her enough for all her help 🐕💕”

“Pamela watched our pup Winnie for the second time and Winnie was so excited to see her when I dropped her off! Pamela was great about sending pics and updates throughout the day which we really appreciated”

“Raquel was able to help us out on our trip to Chicago by watching our guy Monty on short notice. Monty had a great afternoon with her. Appreciate the doggy daycare and would definitely do it again !”

About: I Have been taking care of dogs with my 3 daughters ages 13, 17, and 19 for family and friends for about 5 years now. Unless they’re friendly with other dogs. At least 2 people are always at home. Like I have stated, I have an empty apartment unit dedicated towards the animals, running water heater and a.c. I have a big backyard. We live in a good neighborhood. They can have fun outside. Constant potty breaks. We only require to bring your dogs bedding, required food if they have it, some toys, and any medication they take! Im home most of the time, but if im not, my daughters are! If they are alone, is when we go to church for 2 hours. 3x a week. In my house, our apartment has working ac and heater. It isnt fully furnished. So they haven plenty of space to move around. Their food is always given to them morning and night. Or however the client prefers it.

About: I have had a total of 9 dogs in my lifetime. I currently have 2 with GREAT temperaments so your dogs will always have friends to play with but if you would like them to stay separated, then I can do that as well. I treat my dogs like they’re family because they are. I don’t support the abuse, neglect or mistreatment of ANY pet and especially not in my presence. I will do my best to keep your dogs safe and continue any pet training style currently in place. I know the fear of leaving your babies in the hands of another person, especially one you don’t know. My jobs is to put you at ease. Hopefully I can become a regular to you and your pet. We can all be one big happy family together. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m always available to give your dogs time and attention while you’re away. My son has been raised with dogs and loves them just as much as I do. I have a fenced front yard and back yard. I can also crating if you prefer. It’s your world and I’m just living in it.

“Kerlly is the best!! Our dog can be nervous sometimes and took to her right away. She comes twice a week to walk our dog and from the photos she provides I can tell they have become fast friends. Feel very lucky to have found her!!”

“Anthony was great helping with our senior dog who needs help with stairs. He was really responsive, very helpful, and flexible with some of the care elements that were perhaps a bit out of the ordinary. Thank you!”
“Stavroula has been great! She communicates well and sends me several pictures of my dog Winston doing his business. I actually have two dogs. Winston was just adopted on Christmas Eve and he's a little over a year old. He isn't fully housebroken due to being found as a stray. When she gets here to let him out, he and my other dog Benson get pretty excited. She deals with their mayhem without complaint. I definitely recommend her!”

“Elaine is so kind and considerate with my little fur baby! She’s great at communicating and sending pics when on walks to let me know Gus is doing well. We love her!”

“Would book again because Warisa is great at communicating with good timing and because walked my dog for the time I scheduled and did cut the walk short. She was honest that Codi didn't end up pooping which I appreciate. I wish she played with Codi for at least 2-3 minutes to get him acquainted with her as I mentioned that my dog loves to play catch with his toys but overall I would def book her again :)”

“I couldn’t be happier with Dayanne . From the very first visit, it was clear that she genuinely care about my shadows needs . My dog can be a bit shy around new people, but she took the time to build trust and made him feel completely comfortable. Every walk is reliable, on time, and tailored to my dog’s energy level and needs. I also really appreciate the detailed updates and photos after each visit—it gives me peace of mind knowing he’s happy, exercised, and well cared for while I’m away. What truly sets her apart is her professionalism and love for animals. She goes above and beyond, whether it’s refilling water, giving extra attention, or noticing small changes in behavior. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, and genuinely passionate about dogs, I highly recommend her . It’s made a huge difference for both me and my pup!”

“My dog Avery appeared happy on her walk with Joel, and he was also very understanding when I accidentally gave him the wrong address. I would definitely hire Joel again next time Avery needs a walk!”

About: I've been taking care of family and friend's animals since I was very young. Whether your pet needs love and attention, to walk, or to play, I'm here to provide what they need! I'm able to do your pets daily routine in your home, just like you never left. I'm able to feed, walk, and spend as much time as you'd like with your furry friend.
“Excellent walker. He’s good at winning over stubborn dogs. Reliable and good with the small touches most dog walkers miss like wiping paws if your dog gets them muddy. High recommend him. He’ll take good care of your pooch.”

About: I have always grown up with multiple pets in our household. Hearing their barks or their paws on the floor always brings me such joy. I’ve cared for dogs for my family and neighbors for the past year. They trust me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they’re away or if their work schedule conflicts with their routine, so I can do a drop-in. I am patient with shy dogs and even energetic, playful dogs. It's important to be attentive to each pet’s unique needs. My goal is to always make the pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their space while giving owners peace of mind. Every dog has a different energy regardless of their age or breed, so it is important for me to understand their personality and comforts so we can become great friends. I work part-time, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I am also a part-time student who is aiming for a career in animal care. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting on certain weekdays. I will also make sure that your pets stay on their normal routine with feeding, potty breaks, and playtime to avoid any stress. I am also available every other weekend at any time of the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I can provide a calm and pet-friendly environment where your dog(s) can feel safe and relaxed. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I will give your pet(s) plenty of attention, exercise, and love.
About: I have experience with Dogs and cats, as well as other animals like lizards. I have experience medicating animals both through the care of my own pets as well as through my mother who is a veterinarian in Old Town. I've take care of dogs of all age ranges and energy levels. I am currently working freelance so my schedule is wide open to prioritize your pets. And I already have a dog a cat and a lizard that I take care of at home, so my daily routine is already oriented with pet care in mind. I like to spend time with pets both on and outside of walks, as I know they can get lonely when their owners aren't around, and so I can be better aware of how your pet is doing.
About: I have been petsitting since i was 5 years old. My love for animals started when i first met my neighbors pomeranians who i dog sat very frequently growing up. I recently stopped taking care of them because they moved to florida, but i cared for them from puppyhood until they were senior pups! I also got a pup of my own when i was 9 and trained him by myself although it was hard because he was a stubborn guy! He loved going on adventures so i would act like id take the wrong turn on walks and he'd be so happy! So if your pup loves long walks i am most definitely okay with accommodating to your puppys walk length. If your puppy is sleepy and doesnt like long walks thats okay too! I am in school, but i am available after school and on weekends! I am always available after 3 to take a puppy outside for a long walk or a feeding I am always making sure the pet is happy and comfortable. I like to make sure that they come to me when they want pets so that they can get used to me. I am always paying attention to body language and how they are reacting

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.

I live with my boyfriend so when I’m working nights, he’s taking care of my dog. It’s an awesome experience being with someone who loves animals as much as I do. Same goes for your pet! They will never be alone at home and will always have the exercise and attention they deserve. I always try to accommodate pet owners at there time of need. I have a fenced backyard. My dog who will keep your pup company. I walk my dog at home 3x a day and stimulate her with dog puzzles and games. We train 10-15 min a day on old tricks and on her new button system to communicate with me. If pet parents have similar requests, I love accommodating.

Attentive care and fostering a safe and fun environment is my goal :) I work from home, so I am pretty flexible and available throughout the week and weekends!

“Katie was great! Chloe seemed like she had a fun time with her. Katie sent lots of pictures! We also were really grateful for how accommodating Katie was - our flight was delayed and she was so nice about us having to switch around pickup plans.”

“Ashley was great and took great care of our dog. She was communicative and sent a bunch of photos to make sure we were updated on how he was doing. Took him to the dog park, on walks, etc. Made us feel completely at ease while we were on a trip.”

“Sam took great care of my boy Kimi when I was out of town. I appreciated the daily updates, pictures and videos! She made sure Kimi stayed warm when snow storm hit and made Kimi felt like being at home. Would definitely choose Sam again if I need a sitter in the future!”
