About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.

“Savina was by far the best cat sitter I have ever had in my 10 years of owning a pet. She was incredibly attentive, thorough, and compassionate while caring for my fur babies. Each day we were gone, Savina gave an extensive report about how our cats were doing and anything we may need to be aware of. One of our cats requires daily medication, which she took care of with absolute ease. She paid attention to how much they were eating, their use of the litter box, and how they seemed to be acting. We were gone over the 4th of July and one of my cats was incredibly nervous and hesitant due to the fireworks. Savina worked hard to give him extra comfort and attention and sure enough he ended up feeling safe and back to normal in no time. She also was incredibly attentive to the temperature in our apartment as it is summer time and she wanted to make sure the kitties were comfortable. We also requested daily pictures which Savina provided and I could tell that our kitties were at their best with her💗 I am so thankful for Savina’s passion and dedication to making our kitties have a stress free time while we were gone. I recommend Savina in a heart beat to anyone looking for animal care and we 100% will be hiring her again for future travel needs. About: I do take up to 3 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

About: Hi! I'm Maggie. 👋🏼 I've been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. From my very first poodle when I was five years old to my sweet pup today, dogs have been one of the greatest sources of love, joy, and companionship in my life. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Friends and family have always trusted me with their pets while they're away, and I've learned that every dog is unique. Some are full of energy and eager to play, while others need a little extra patience, reassurance, or time to feel comfortable in a new environment. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and pups with a variety of medical and emotional needs. I'm comfortable administering both oral and injectable medications, following detailed care instructions, and adapting to each dog's individual routine. If the weather is nice, we are likely to spend most of the day outside, either at home or Palmer's park across the street. We allow our pups and guest pups on the couches and beds. About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years. I treat my puppy like a family member and will do the same for yours! Since they are family they are allowed on the couch and will get plenty of belly rubs & cuddles. I work from home. My pup and I go for a walk through the park or around the neighborhood first thing at 7:30 am and then usually breakfast is serve. We go back four our next walk at 11:30/12 then we go out again after work at 5pm. This one’s a longer walk and we follow that with play time and dinner. :) That is followed by cuddles. About: Dog and cat mama, here! I absolutely love cats and dogs and my friends often have to actively discourage me from adopting more. I’m the person that hangs out with the four-legged friends at parties and has to have an extensive conversation with every dog (and their human) passing on the street. In my “free time,” I’m a CPS teacher who loves their job and secretly wishes my fur babies could be my school’s mascots and permanent members of my classroom. I have had and taken care of both dogs and cats since I can remember; I always had at least one of both in my house my whole life. In college, I worked at PetSmart as a dog and cat (and small mammals) groomer and my love and knowledge of our four-legged pals grew even more. Being a groomer taught me how to take care of pets in difficult situations (most cats and dogs get pretty nervous about visits to the groomer). These skills help me build trust with fur babies; support pets with special needs (medical, behavioral, etc.); and handle emergency situations well. More importantly, as a dog and cat mama myself, I know just how important it is to know that your fur babies are in good hands and with someone who will love on them just as much as you! My fur babies love to snuggle for days on end and your fur babies will get all the snuggles and playtime they need and want! I’m a teacher and currently off for the summer. I’m home most of the day with a couple hours here and there for errands, etc. I have a fenced yard and live a short 3 minute walk from the 606. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.
About: I love dogs and all kinds! I live in a great neighborhood with many dogs and very friendly people. I live close to a dog park where I love to take my dog. I am super excited to take care of other dogs and just have good time together! I am fully dedicated to pet care and pet sitting. I really to love spend my days with positive energy and positive buddy’s all around. Each buddy can have their own designated place either their own bed or crate provided by the pet parent or on a warm blanket I knitted myself!
About: I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, there was always at least a few animals in my house growing up. I am a huge animal lover! Each animal is unique and aim to accommodate and adapt to each pet's needs. I have experience working with anxious and reactive animals and recognize the importance of taking things slow with new animal friends. Currently in the job market but in the meantime I have a ton of free time and what better way to spend it than with pets. Just let me know your schedule I we can work with it! I have a pretty big space for a pet to be in. Hardwood floors that are easy to clean. I live one block away from a huge city park so I can take a pet there all the time.

About: 3 dog owner here, including a tripod. Two boys and a girl all came to us from people who could no longer care for them. Two were from former students and one from the husband of a colleague. I'm a full-time teacher and I also want to play with your dogs. My school hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I am happy to work out drop off, pick up, hang out time and potty breaks. My dogs have front and back fenced-in yards to hang out and run around. They are able to roam the house all day. They go on walks twice a day and we have recently incorporated logic toys to keep them sharp.
About: I grew up on a ranch for part of my life so I’ve worked with a variety of animals from snakes to long horns. I’m also a pet owner myself! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as multiple at a time. I’m a full-time student with in-person classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so other than those days I’ll be with your fur baby working from home! I live in a pet friendly duplex building in Logan square with easy access to parks and lots of room for roaming and down time.

Her resident dog Luna was very welcoming and friendly. It’s not easy leaving your loved one with a stranger, her daily check-ins helped alleviate the stress of that.
