“Angel was great with Ferris for his second stay. Super responsive and lots of communication and photos. Ferris got good exercise and socialization during his stay!”

“Joanna and Mike were amazing! Most of my communication was with Joanna and she’s absolutely epic. Frequent/daily updates about Bella. I would definitely book again and so appreciate how welcome they made Bella feel and even me at drop off. 10/10 would definitely recommend!”

“Ruben is a first-class boarder, and I couldn't be happier with Luna's stay with him. He was always amazingly quick to reply to every message and kept me updated with pictures. Luna and I both look forward to the next time!”

“Bear was so well taken care of with Maria! She sends pictures and videos everyday and accommodates all his special needs. I even last minute had to extend my boarding and she was able to do so with no issue. I know Bear is in good hands whenever he’s with Maria!”

“I am very grateful. Akon spent 7 days with Michael and returned very happy and well cared for. He kept me updated every day by sending me photos and videos. Thank you for taking such good care of him.”

“Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

“Diana and Scott are the absolute best! I'm usually anxious when leaving Scout behind while we're away, but they took such great care of her that I'll never be worried if she's with them. They were communicative throughout her stay and shared daily updates/photos. I've actually never seen her get comfortable with new people so quickly (she was handing out belly rubs on day 2 which is not typical for her lol). So thankful to have found them as sitters and hope to keep using them in the future!”

“This was our second time leaving our dog Nero with Chad and his wife. Normally he is super anxious about being left behind but was perfectly happy to hop right into their arms at drop off. Received photos/video even though it was a quick 2-nt stay. We know he had fun and was well loved and taken care of.”

“Christina is amazing with my baby girl Cocoa!! As soon as we turn the corner, Cocoa cant contain her excitement to reach Christina’s home. I get a bunch of updates and cuddly pics while I’m away (they’re great but I get fomo!!!) lol”

“Marieclaire is the best! She always makes me feel at ease when I leave Kylo with her. She is patient and very accommodating to any needs your furry friend may have. Would definitely recommend using her!”

“I’ve booked with Kyla three times now and she’s been phenomenal! She’s very communicative and always sends pictures and updates on how Koda is doing and getting along with the other pups. She’s also very attentive to his behaviors (eating patterns, socializing etc). Koda is happy to be dropped off and also if happy and tired out when I pick him up. I would highly recommend booking with Kyla!”

“Sophia and Andy were incredible. From the first time we met them, we knew our dog would be in great hands. They easily handled our dog’s personality quirks (both cute and obnoxious) and sent all the photos we needed to know that he felt at home while he stayed with them. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Nina took great care of my dog! She provided daily updates and pictures, and you can tell that she really cares about your pet and keeping them happy and healthy. Will be booking with her in the future!”

“Thankful to have met Susan & her grandson to help me care for my little kitty Church. This is the second time I've boarded him while I was away for my studies. I felt very comfortable leaving my little man knowing he was cared for as I care for him at home. Highly recommend to board ✨”

“Julia was great! She always had great communication, easy to coordinate drop off and pick up and it is clear that she put care and attention into taking care of our pup! Thank you Julia!”

“Nathan was extremely easy to work with. He adapted to changes very well and I appreciated the extra effort he made for us to meet with the dogs in our local dog park before he watched Bruce. Would definitely recommend”

“We love Barbara and Chewy!! So incredibly thoughtful, communicative, and sweet! We truly trust her with our dog, and can't say enough good things about how amazing she is! Highly recommended!”

“Kyla is and was so amazing with my fur baby. For one, I was terrified because Eden has IVDD ( nerve condition that caused him to lose the functionality in his back legs) and I was like who is going to watch or even change a diaper on a dog. I have never seen anyone to attentive to my baby as if he were her baby. I’m so grateful to have found her and I will be a repeat client. Thank you again Kyla!!”

“Chloe was so well taken care of and loved!! Normally we get really anxious leaving her for long periods of time, but we completed trusted Lech and weren’t worried at all! We will definitely use them again!”

“Jean is absolutely fantastic. I was in the market for a new cat sitter and really lucked out with Jean. I can’t recommend her enough. I have 2 cats that are really shy with new people and Jean really took the time to work with them or give them space as appropriate. Thank you, Jean! I will definitely be rebooking in the future.”

“Megan was very thorough and responsive! She was very patient with my shy cats and even did some extra vacuuming of the litter they love to kick out of their boxes. Thanks, Megan!!”

“Yesenia is amazing. This is our first time leaving our cat after we got her from the streets, so we're a bit reluctant, but Yesenia gave us updates every single time. We'll definitely ask Yesenia again next time”

“Roy went above and beyond caring for Hermy and Gerdy. I felt so at ease knowing they were in good hands. Roy provided thorough and consistent updates with lots of pictures that demonstrated true care for our fur babies.”

“We are repeat customers of Sol and soooooo appreciate their care and concern for our rambunctious cats. Sol is an excellent communicator (and photographer!) who always leaves our place looking great.”

“All 3 of my cats were happy and well cared for when I got back. She is prompt, thorough and kind. My shy cat was friendly with her immediately which never happens. Absolutely recommend and will book again.”

“Hope was amazing with our shy cat! She took great care of our girl while we were away and made the whole process easy by being communicative and flexible. We’ll definitely be rebooking with Hope.”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.

“Lisa is the best! She took great care of my cat, Emi. She was very reliable and responsive, and I had full trust in her that she would take good care of her. Thank you, Lisa!!!”

“Diamond is an amazing sitter! She truly cares for the dogs she looks after and keeps you at ease with regular updates. My Leo came back home so tired and happy-which says everything, and he honestly didn’t even want to leave her place! Her dogs are wonderful as well and got along perfectly with mine, which made the whole experience even better. Diamond is reliable, punctual, and clearly passionate about what she does. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter.”

Growing up a Old English Sheep dog(ralphie) a Chihuahua(Penny) When i was out on my own, I had a jack Russell terrier(Spot), in college 3 Chow Chows(Gannon) later a Great Dane and lastly a Pit Bull (Pixley). In conclusion I would like to say what an honor it would be for me to share some time with your dog and to put you at ease while you are gone knowing your dog is safe and with an experienced and caring sitter. i am currently running a non profit and have alot of time during most days and evenings to take care of your animals in best way i do boarding and drop ins ,housitting and walks at your place. I like this most as the dogs are in a more comfortable environment.
“Sara and Jose take such great care of our 1 year old. I feel very at ease knowing our pup is in great hands and we’re so lucky to have them as a recurring pet sitter when I’m at work. They do a great job at making sure her daily schedule is met, maintain training, and give them lots of love and affection. My puppy loves spending time with their family and highly recommend!”

“John was great with Luna! Super communicative and attentive to her needs. We also had an emergency which required a last minute late pick up and John was incredibly understanding and accommodating. Wouldn’t hesitate to leave her with John again.”

“Dayana was a great dogsitter to our puppy Honey. She sent pictures and videos throughout the day of Honey having fun and being taken on walks, and she was very nice and communicative. I will definitely be reaching back out for more dog sitting with Dayana!”

“Leaving Luna with Christine was such a great experience. Christine was extremely communicative, sending pictures and updates throughout the day. She left us with the most adorable goody bag as well, with a Polaroid to commemorate Luna’s stay. Above and beyond - would not hesitate to use her again.”

“Maverick (6 month old Sheltie mix) and I had such a great first experience with Elliott! He truly knows what he’s doing, Maverick was comfortable with him immediately - quickly eliminating my concern about separation anxiety. In just one conversation, he passed along so much knowledge on puppy behavior and how to correct some issues. They spent the whole day together, as I was receiving video updates seeing Maverick play with the other dogs - such a constant relief! I highly highly recommend Elliott!”

“Maria seemed like a great sitter for Bambi!! We only left Bambi with her for about 10hrs during a long day we had, but in that time all seemed well! Maria sent us pictures of Bambi playing and looking happy which was reassuring. Maria was also really flexible with our drop off time and pick up time which I really appreciated as our day was really in flux and we ended up picking her up later than expected. Bambi seems super tired since we got back. Thank you Maria!!!”

About: I do take up to 3 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

“Leeraz was so great with our 7 month old puppy! She gives the pups lots of love and attention, and sends tons of photo and video updates. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Yasmine was wonderful with my very energetic dog. Her own dog is well-behaved and serves as a great role model for other dogs. When my dog came home, he was happy, tired, and completely content, a clear sign that he had a fantastic time. She lives close to a large dog park where dogs can run, play, and burn off their energy while having the time of their lives. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog with Yasmine and plan to do so regularly. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter and excellent company for their dog.”

“Stavroula has been great! She communicates well and sends me several pictures of my dog Winston doing his business. I actually have two dogs. Winston was just adopted on Christmas Eve and he's a little over a year old. He isn't fully housebroken due to being found as a stray. When she gets here to let him out, he and my other dog Benson get pretty excited. She deals with their mayhem without complaint. I definitely recommend her!”

“Emmalyn took a last-minute request and saved the day! She was punctual, stayed over time to make sure one of my dogs would poop before she left, and was communicative. Definitely recommend!”

About: Hello! I’m a recent college graduate and a devoted pet lover working from a home office. I offer reliable, flexible, and high-quality care for your furry family members, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and entertained while you are away. My Pet Care Experience My passion for animal care is rooted in a lifetime of experience with both dogs and cats. I am currently the proud owner of three cats with unique needs: Stomy (my rescued Orange Tabby) taught me patience, Sheba (my Highlander Lynx) keeps me active with high-energy play, and Atticus (my Siamese) taught me the importance of constant social engagement. In addition to my cats, I have extensive experience with dogs. Until recently, I was a dedicated owner to three rescued dogs who passed away peacefully last year. Caring for them, especially in their golden years, gave me deep experience with senior pet care, administering medication, and providing the gentle, compassionate support that older or shy animals need. Whether you have an energetic puppy or a slow-moving senior, I have the hands-on experience to make them feel safe and comfortable. Services & Activities I Provide When I visit your home, my goal is to keep your pet's routine consistent and stress-free. My drop-in visits and house-sitting services include: * Feeding & Hygiene: Adhering strictly to feeding schedules, refreshing water bowls, cleaning litter boxes, and picking up waste. * Enrichment & Exercise: For cats, this means interactive play to burn off energy. For dogs, this includes stimulating walks, fetch, or backyard playtime. * Safety & Home Care: As a pet owner, I am hyper-aware of "door dashers." I practice strict safety protocols when entering and exiting to prevent escapes. I also bring in mail, water plants, and ensure your home is left tidy and secure. * Updates: You will receive detailed updates and high-quality photos after every visit, so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. My Schedule & Availability Because I work remotely from my home office, my schedule is my biggest asset for your peace of mind. Unlike sitters with rigid 9-to-5 commutes, I have open flexibility throughout the day. * I can easily accommodate mid-day drop-ins, early mornings, or evening visits. * I am available for last-minute requests if your plans change. * I have the time to stay a little longer if your pet seems lonely or needs extra cuddles. I understand that inviting a sitter into your home requires a great deal of trust. I treat every pet I meet with the same affection I give my own crew, and I treat your home with the utmost respect. My schedule: FLEXIBLE I currently work remotely from my home office, providing me with open availability throughout the week. Because I am home-based, I am highly reliable and able to commit to specific time slots that suit your pet's feeding and medication schedule. I have the freedom to step away from my desk to ensure your pets get the quality time and attention they deserve, exactly when they need it. Safety begins the moment I unlock your door. As a cat dad to three active felines, I am hyper-aware of "door darters" and curious paws. I practice a strict "look down before you step" policy and always double-check that doors and windows are securely latched before leaving. inside the home, I keep a close eye on your cat’s health and mood, ensuring they are eating, using the litter box normally, and engaging comfortably. I also make sure to leave your home exactly as I found it—tidy, secure, and peaceful.
“Arina was very communicative and so patient with multiple issues that popped up on her visit (absolutely no fault of hers!). She stayed extra with my dogs without being asked and provided plenty of videos and pictures.”

About: I have hands-on experience raising two Doberman Pinschers back home in Nigeria, and I also spend time with my best friend’s Golden Doodle here in the U.S. Through these experiences, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, and attentiveness when it comes to caring for dogs. Even though I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I treat every pet as if they were mine—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m also mindful of following routines, giving plenty of exercise, and paying attention to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’d be honored to help care for your furry family member, and I look forward to building trust with both you and your pet. I work full time, but I’m available for pet care on my WFH days, evenings, and weekends. I make sure every visit includes attention, exercise, and lots of love, keeping pets happy and cared for while their owners are away. Pets in my home enjoy a safe, comfortable space with supervised play in my fenced yard and crate time when needed. On client visits, I follow routines closely—feeding, walks, and play—so every pet feels happy, secure, and well cared for.
About: I had 2 Labradors for about 3 years, a Dachshund for 4 (when i was younger) and lived in Chicago then i moved to California in 2015. The places i stayed out here prohibited animals evidently, so i would find alot of joy in taking care of my close friends dogs and neibors . i would often go over to play with her and take her walks just for the utter joy of it. i am a very caring, compassionate animal lover of all kinds and would enjoy to do what i love most :)I have experience with animals and my own pets for over 10 years. My family and i raised dogs and cats in our homes since I could remember. I was always the one stealing my mother's tuna to give to the Stray Cats finding litters of kittens in the backyard rescuing injured birds, ever since I was a child I had a curiosity for animals. I enjoy the company of my animals and maintain my responsibility of taking care of my pets every single day. I have dealt with many different breeds of dogs and cat to understand them on a personal level and their nature and behavior. I truly love my animals I feel that I naturally connect with dogs and cats totally. Currently my small pet family consists of a 6 month old black and white tabby cat and a 3 year old small white terrier listen to get along with very well. I give my pets regular exercise and walks. My pets all have their shots and vaccinations there is no doubt that these are more than just animals to me they become family and a priority. I would be honored to extend my helpfulness and experience to others by doing something that I enjoy and passionate about.

“Angel was great with Ferris for his second stay. Super responsive and lots of communication and photos. Ferris got good exercise and socialization during his stay!”

“Ruben is a first-class boarder, and I couldn't be happier with Luna's stay with him. He was always amazingly quick to reply to every message and kept me updated with pictures. Luna and I both look forward to the next time!”

“Christina is amazing with my baby girl Cocoa!! As soon as we turn the corner, Cocoa cant contain her excitement to reach Christina’s home. I get a bunch of updates and cuddly pics while I’m away (they’re great but I get fomo!!!) lol”

“Nathan was extremely easy to work with. He adapted to changes very well and I appreciated the extra effort he made for us to meet with the dogs in our local dog park before he watched Bruce. Would definitely recommend”

“Chloe was so well taken care of and loved!! Normally we get really anxious leaving her for long periods of time, but we completed trusted Lech and weren’t worried at all! We will definitely use them again!”

“Really appreciate Ashley take care of our dog for a long weekend! Ashley is super considerate and communicative - you can expect to receive regular updates on how your pup is doing and you can tell she goes to great lengths to ensure every pet that stays with her has a great experience. I would absolutely choose Ashley again for boarding!”
“Christine did an absolutely amazing job watching our 5-month old puppy! She sent photos and updates throughout the day, had lots of supplies so we didn’t have to pack too much, and even sent him home with an adorable Polaroid and treat bag. 100% your pup is in the right hands with Christine!”

“Will definitely recomendable Adolfo for taking care of Perla in the future! Received a lot of photos and updates the four days Perla was with Adolfo! Thanks from Perla and Us!”

“I felt super comfortable leaving Kira with Katie and Java for a weekend trip. She was really responsive and sent pictures of the doggos having a great time together. Kira came back to me relaxed and tired from a great weekend. I'll definitely book her again for future trips.”

“Eden and her partner welcomed our sweet boy, Iggy, into their home and allowed him to settle in and feel safe and comfortable. She was responsive to his high anxiety and tendency to want to act like an alpha towards strangers on the street, they were able to put him at ease so he could still enjoy some exercise and fresh air while out on walks in the city. Her resident dog Luna was very welcoming and friendly. It’s not easy leaving your loved one with a stranger, her daily check-ins helped alleviate the stress of that. We hope to use Eden for future dog care needs.”

“Ania was great! Very professional, kind and reliable sitter. Simba had a wonderful stay with Ania! Lots of photo/video updates, I can see my dog was truly well taken care of! Will definitely book with her again in a future 💕”

“Ian took SUCH good care of my 1.5 year old bernedoodle for 3 weeks when I was traveling for work. I had so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting lots of care, play time and super long, scenic walks every day! Ian was super communicative and sent pictures of Banksy multiple times a day, which I very much appreciated. He told me about the couple of other dogs that he watched as well and how Banksy got along with each. Ian really is thoughtful about how the dogs interact together and makes sure they have safe, supervised play and will give them space, if needed. I know Banks absolutely LOVED being there and was sad to leave! I will 100% be reaching out to Ian the next time I go out of town.”

“Carlos and Ciara love to stay with Lorraine, I can see in the pictures she sends that they have so much on their walks, and sniffing around the backyard. I let them on the furniture at home, and they are allowed on her couch, too. :D”
