I am based in the Bucktown/Wicker Park/Logan Square area of the city but am used to commuting and work in the Ravenswood/North Center/Lakeview area — so I can make a lot of situations work as best as possible for pets and their owners! I have two dogs and still make sure that they have at least two walks before I work and 3-4 walks after work! My job allows me to create my schedule which is helpful to maintain the needs of any pups I’m taking care of at the moment!

My home is open concept and free for your pets to be as comfortable as they need if they are present for day care. My building has a dog run if your pet prefers privacy, but I love walking my boys around the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhoods and taking them to the dog parks nearby.

All I need to know about a dog before sitting for them is what kind of human interaction they are used to, what kind of toys and food they like, and how they feel most comfortable.
A typical day
Going on at least three walks a day, one of which is usually a longer one (weather and pet dependent), playing with a bunch of fun pet toys, letting the pets be my shadow, and showing them love and care.

I’ve always had at least one family dog and I have taken care of my friends, family, and co-worker’s dogs for over 20+ years which estimates to up to 50+ dogs. I’ve cared for multiple dogs at once and I love all dogs in any shape and size. I love pets so much, I have paw print tattoos for my personal dogs. I’ve volunteered at local Humane Society’s and continue to donate to services that help dogs — since dogs don’t have a voice I’m happy to lend mine for the good of their well-being. My household consists of two humans and two dogs, a Golden and a Newfie, both of whom live a happy and comfortable life :) Dogs are beautiful and loyal creatures and we’re lucky to have them.
