“Very communicative and conscientious. Our guy is pretty anxious (separation and in general), to the degree that we couldn't even hand him over to someone to try a temperament test at an open boarding/daycare place. Joerg and Lake have been willing to work with us on gradually desensitizing him - giving him space and time to get used to them and their pup Lizzie at his own pace. They have a system for slowly introducing new dogs to their space, themselves, and Lizzie which really worked! After first doing a meet and greet in a park, a week later we did a 6 hour daycare session which exceeded my hopes - he allowed Joerg and Lake to handle him / pick him up (something no stranger has managed to do since we got him 5.5 months ago), and went on walks with Lizzie with no issues. Very pleased with how things went, and how kind and communicative Joerg was throughout. We will definitely be booking some more sessions to hopefully work our way up to boarding in future!”

About: Dog lover at heart! I have had two dogs of my own and loved taking care of them. I also cared for dogs and other pets in my neighborhood growing up for years and have since continued that. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages, including senior dogs and dogs over 100 lbs. My fiancée works from home most days and I work from home 3 days of the week we are able to tend to dogs pretty flexibly! She is a dog lover as well and has tons of experience caring for dogs. We have a few parks nearby that we love taking our family and friends' dogs to, to throw a ball around or just let the dog run around. Would love to take care of your dog! I work from home in a very flexible job that allows me to be available almost all the time. I love getting outside for walks and going to the park. Generally, I love being active and have lots of free time to spend with dogs! I have a fairly spacious apartment that the dog will be free to roam if desired. We don’t have a yard, so any time outside will be walks / trips to parks. Your dog will always be leashed unless they are off leash trained and you are comfortable allowing me to let them off leash at the park. I am comfortable with almost any arrangement that will allow you to feel comfortable allowing your dog to stay in my care!

About: I grew up around dogs and have always had a love for caring for them. While I haven’t been able to have a dog of my own due to occasional travel for work and family, Rover has been the perfect way for me to stay connected to what I love most (caring for pets). About: I have had a family dog my whole life. I was raised with a Golden Retriever and then had twos Daschunds. I now have my own dog that I rescued last year. She is a German Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees Mix. She is the sweetest thing in the world but she has a lot of anxiety. She is in every single way the perfect dog. She loves other dogs and is very friendly to them. I provide house sitting, dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Please note that all services provided at my house my dog would be present. My partner and I have a huge apartment with multiple rooms for all your dog's needs, and a fenced in back yard. I plan to take care of your dog just like I take care of mine.
