About: Hi! I'm Thomas, a lifelong dog lover who has grown up with dogs my entire life, especially Golden Retrievers. I currently have a 4-year-old Goldendoodle named Charlie, whom I've raised since he was a puppy. Caring for Charlie has given me hands-on experience with daily routines, training reinforcement, exercise, socialization, and understanding each dog's unique personality and needs. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that's going for long walks, playing fetch, visiting local parks, or simply relaxing at home together. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where your dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I'm also experienced with cats and regularly care for a friend's cat when he travels for work. No matter the pet, I treat every animal as if they were my own and provide plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care. When your pet stays with me, you can expect frequent updates, photos, and open communication so you can feel confident knowing they're in great hands. I work a full-time hybrid schedule and work from home every Friday, as well as some Mondays. On office days, I'm typically home by 5:00 PM and prioritize evening walks, playtime, and quality attention for every pet in my care. I do my best to be flexible and work with each owner's schedule to ensure smooth drop-offs, pick-ups, and consistent care throughout your pet's stay. I live in a secure, dog-friendly apartment building with front desk staff and a dedicated dog washing station. My home is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, providing a safe environment for your dog to relax and feel at home. I'm located just minutes from Uptown Dog Park and close to Chicago's lakefront paths, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and outdoor adventures. Every outing is supervised, and I always follow the owner's preferences regarding dog parks, socialization, and activity level.
“Sky provided top notch care for Groot! Several picture updates and cute memes of them gave me confidence in her quality care giving skills. It helps that Groot came home super tired from all of their playtime! Will book again!”

“Sabrina was so great with my puppy Hank! Very communicative and sent so many great photos and updates during the day! I will absolutely be reaching out to her in the future!!”
“Susan was wonderful! She was very caring with our little elder dog. Communication was great and we were happy to receive a photo of our dog having a comfortable stay with Susan. We appreciate you, Susan!”
“John & Ryan took wonderful care of my dog Newton! They sent a cute photo update and were very flexible with pick up and drop off times. Would highly recommend!”
“Very communicative and conscientious. Our guy is pretty anxious (separation and in general), to the degree that we couldn't even hand him over to someone to try a temperament test at an open boarding/daycare place. Joerg and Lake have been willing to work with us on gradually desensitizing him - giving him space and time to get used to them and their pup Lizzie at his own pace. They have a system for slowly introducing new dogs to their space, themselves, and Lizzie which really worked! After first doing a meet and greet in a park, a week later we did a 6 hour daycare session which exceeded my hopes - he allowed Joerg and Lake to handle him / pick him up (something no stranger has managed to do since we got him 5.5 months ago), and went on walks with Lizzie with no issues. Very pleased with how things went, and how kind and communicative Joerg was throughout. We will definitely be booking some more sessions to hopefully work our way up to boarding in future!”
“Isabella was quick and responsive in her communication, willing to help in a pinch, and helped give my pup a great day out on the town! Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Isabella!”
“I found Rebecca last minute on Rover and truly couldn’t have had a better experience. She was so kind and communicative even before we met, and was willing to care for Luna with little notice. From the moment I dropped her off, she kept me updated throughout the day with the cutest pictures, which meant so much. I was pretty anxious leaving Luna with someone new, but Rebecca completely put my mind at ease. I knew Luna was in excellent hands the entire time. Highly recommend 🤍”
About: I come from a family where our dog was as much a member of the family as anyone. My husband, two kids and I live in a single-family home with lots of room and fenced front and back yards. My husband works from home and I work hybrid, so one or all of us are always home. My husband and I have been dog sitting for many years, with great reviews. We took a break while we grew our family, and while our children were very young. Now the kids are requesting a pet, and we think dog sitting is the perfect segue to possibly adopting a dog of our own. We love the outdoors and enjoy walks in the neighborhood and along the nearby lakefront. Your pet will feel like they've had a fantastic vacation of their own and we promise to share lots of photos! My husband works from home and I work hybrid-we're always here! We have two kids who love animals and are eager to prove their dog care abilities. We have lots of room, three stories, fenced front and back yards. Our home is already kid-proofed, so it is safe for your baby as well.
“Laura was amazing! She took such good care of Elijah and sent photos throughout the day. Eli warmed up to her immediately and made a new friend. It was such a relief to know that he was in good hands! 💜”
About: I am a first time dog owner however I hired an experienced trainer to help me train my dog since he was a puppy. He is now my service dog in training. I enjoy playing with him and teaching him new skills too. I live in a studio apartment, but I consider it a bigger studio since I do have a living room and bedroom space since it’s all open. I do refer hypoallergenic pets as I am allergic, but I am willing to help out if I can! I am home all the time, so I would be able to take your pup to the park or on long walks. I’d love to have an extra fur baby in my home. I have a fenced yard and a fur baby that is social and very friendly with other dogs. I can help continue any training the client may be implementing.

About: Hello! Thank you for considering me as someone you can trust with your pet! My goal is to give dogs fun, enriching adventures that keep both their bodies and minds engaged. I have a high-energy shepherd mix with plenty of personality and specific needs, so I understand firsthand how important it is to keep energetic breeds happy, engaged, and stimulated. I grew up with both toy and herding breeds and have experience caring for dogs with a range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. Pet first-aid and CPR certified. I work a typical 9–5 schedule during the week, so at the moment I’m accepting walking and sitting requests primarily on weekends. I’m happy to coordinate around your dog’s routine and needs! I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, checking in throughout our time together for signs of boredom, overstimulation, or physical needs. I enjoy providing enrichment through games and activities like nose work and flirt pole, while also respecting when a dog needs space or a quieter moment. My own shepherd mix has taught me the importance of respecting a dog’s boundaries. He doesn’t always enjoy being touched, and I never force interaction. Every dog has their own personality, and I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and understood.
