“Duncan was a professional and responsible caretaker. He went above and beyond our expectations when he took care of our 2 dogs Honey and Pickles for two weeks. Before even starting the job, he met us in a freezing blizzard for a simple meet + greet, which I think immediately showed his dedication to the job. He also cleaned up around our house when the dogs were making a mess, not something that we asked him to do — but rather something that he proactively did. One of our dogs, Honey, has anxiety. Duncan even stood overnight on New Years Eve just to help her stay calm during the fireworks, which I believe is something your average dog caretaker wouldn’t do! He was also very responsive with text and sent us updates every day. I felt much peace of mind because I knew Duncan was taking our two dogs on 2 walks every day, feeding them on time, and spending some time with them too. I would definitely recommend Duncan to a friend and would rebook him myself!”

About: I'm a young professional who just moved to Chicago with a flexible schedule looking to care for your dog! I've had dogs since I was in elementary school - both large and small - and most recently was dog dad to my big brindle baby Rosa until she passed at age 10 in 2023. I hope to adopt a new pup once I'm ready and once I'm more established here in Chicago. I am very used to in-home petsitting, including having spent weeks in cities such as Los Angeles, New York and even Chicago as recently as January 2026 petsitting friends dogs - from an older chihuahua to a big pit bull and a small lab puppy. I also would care for numerous friends and families dogs when I was in Atlanta - where I'm originally from. I work remotely and thus have a very flexible schedule. Whether it's in-home petsitting or even just walks - I'd love to take care of your pup! I work fully remote at a very flexible job with minimal meetings and do not have a pet of my own currently so I am able to make taking care of your pup a priority. I am used to a range of dogs both that I've parented as my own as well as other's dogs. I am used to crate trained dogs and non-crate trained, those that need a lot more exercise and those that like to chill. Let's talk!
