I'm very good walking stop-and sniff dogs, and dogs that tend to pull a lot. I can usually get a dog's best behavior out of them. I love studying dog breed histories, learning about what they were originally bred for, and using those breed traits to make up games/tricks. Dogs love having work to do, and the happiest dogs have jobs that play to the strengths of their breed.

While we were away, I hired Rover for a few days. I had specifically requested walks only if the weather permitted, but my dog was walked every day despite the extreme heat. I was also disappointed that the agreed check-in times were never honored. A 9:00 a.m. visit often became noon. When I expressed my concerns, I received a lengthy message assuring me it was fine, but the visits continued to be late. I had asked to be notified if his schedule changed so I could arrange for neighbors to help, but I was never informed and spent my time waiting for updates. I was also surprised to be asked for my Wi-Fi password. I wasn't comfortable sharing it. I hired a pet sitter to care for my pets, not to use my home internet. Overall, finding out my dog was walked in such intense heat, daily late check-in by hours...service was simply not acceptable. Days passed and I am extremely upset and guilty for subjecting my pets to this.
Eric went above and beyond for my two kitties! He is great and takes phenomenal pictures!! He took excellent care of my babies and even offered help outside of caring for my animals when my home unexpectedly flooded from a severe rain storm. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Eric was incredible. He accepted our last minute request and came over with a great attitude and was very professional. And our dog LOVED him, we could tell right away that Eric is a dog person. Great experience with Eric, would definitely hire again!
Eric exceeded my expectations. I was nervous about leaving my pups for 2 weeks, but immediately felt comfortable when we met Eric. He took good care of them and showed them the affection they needed. When I picked them up, my 2 dogs were happy to see me but not hyper like they couldn’t wait to leave Eric. I think they had a good time. An all round great experience. Would recommend.

Schedule
Pet care is paramount. I can work my schedule and routine around the needs of any dogs in my care I've never had a problem with any dog entrusted to me, whether a twenty minute walk or a 5 day boarding.

I have a fenced yard but I don't leave dogs unattended there. I also have a small Schnauzer mix rescue who likes having other dogs around but generally keeps to himself.

A typical day
I love to take dogs for long walks or to the dog park. Washington Park Dog Park in OTR is my favorite hangout. If your dog is so inclined, I will happily play fetch, tug, and/or amuse them by teaching new tricks.
