Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine consistent so they feel safe and comfortable. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions carefully, and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I respect the home, clean up after the pets, and always keep you updated with messages and photos so you have peace of mind. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I make sure they have a clean, cozy space to relax and feel at home. I provide regular walks, playtime, and cuddle sessions. I also pay close attention to how they’re adjusting to a new environment and take extra care to make them feel calm, loved, and secure. Whether your pet is high-energy or low-key, I adjust to their needs and treat them like family.

Information Cheyanne H. would like to know about your pet

To make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away, I like to gather a few key details ahead of time: 🐾 Daily Routine – Walk times, feeding schedule, usual potty times, bedtime, etc. 🐾 Diet & Treats – What they eat, how much, and any allergies or food restrictions. 🐾 Medical Needs – Medications, health conditions, or anything I should monitor. 🐾 Behavior – Are they crate-trained? Do they bark at strangers? Any anxiety triggers or quirks I should know? 🐾 Commands & Training – What words or hand signals do they respond to? 🐾 Social Preferences – How do they react to other dogs, kids, or new people? 🐾 Emergency Contacts – Vet info, preferred emergency contact, and any backup instructions. 🐾 House Rules – Are pets allowed on furniture? Any rooms off-limits? The more I know, the more I can make your pet’s time away from you feel like home.

A typical day

When your pup is with me, they’re treated like family. A typical day starts with a cheerful morning walk, fresh water, and a tasty breakfast. We stick to their routine—whether that’s playtime, snuggles, or a quiet nap in their favorite spot. Throughout the day, I provide regular updates, photos, and plenty of love. I’m attentive to their needs, from administering medications to recognizing changes in behavior. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or mellow and cuddly, I adjust to their personality and comfort level. Evening walks, dinner, and a little wind-down time round out the day. Your dog will be safe, happy, and cared for—just like they would be at home.

Cheyanne was lovely! My Shihtzu loved staying with her and her two dogs. What I really appreciated what her flexibility around drop off time and pick up with my flights leaving early in the AM and returning late at night - she was very easy to work with. She provided pictures throughout my dogs stay and she seemed super happy. Highly recommend!

She’s the absolute best! Chanel had a phenomenal time! I got puppy mail often and was able to see my baby enjoying herself. Also Chey was very helpful with her availability as well, definitely will be booking again!, Chanel loved her time there!

My Zoey had a great time with Cheyanne! Cheyanne was communicative and sent lots of pictures during Zoey's stay. She was incredibly patient with my flight delays that prevented me from picking up Zoey on time - very grateful for a kind and accommodating sitter!
