UPDATE: OCTOBER 25TH-NOVEMBER 20TH 2024: I will be working onsite for a project in the West Loop from 5pm-9pm Wednesday-Saturday, so I'll only be available for morning drop offs/pick ups during those dates. My schedule will return to normal afterwards! Thanks for understanding :) Hi, I'm Andrew[Drew], a compassionate and reliable dog sitter with over 15 years of experience. My love for animals started at a young age and has since grown into a lifelong passion. I've worked with all types of dogs, from tiny Chihuahuas to large Great Danes, and have a wealth of knowledge on how to care for them. Throughout my healthcare career, I have gained a reputation for being one of the most trustworthy and dependable caregivers in the area, and that passion has carried over to my love for animals. I understand that leaving your beloved pet in someone else's care can be stressful, which is why I go above and beyond to ensure that both the owner and their furry friend feel comfortable and secure. Great stay! Kept me updated with photos and updates multiple times a day. Was running late to pick up because of a delayed flight and Andrew was understanding and accommodating. This was also my first experience with Rover and I was anxious about leaving Lucy but Andrew made sure everything was good by scheduling a meet and greet. Definitely recommend booking with him!

This was our first dog sitter experience, and Andrew was nothing but amazing. We usually do dog boarding and Andrew surpassed everything we have ever experienced. The constant communication reassured us. We received multiple pictures a day with updates on how he was doing. Our dog was very well-taken care of and loved. He took care of our dog’s specific diet, gave him lots of attention and cuddles. We were worry-free and were able to enjoy our vacation to the fullest knowing our dog was in great care. We will definitely book Andrew again. In fact, we’re reluctant to write a review for the fear of Andrew being too busy and booked up for our future vacations!

Schedule
I'm currently working from home (my schedule is work based, no hour commitment) so I have plenty of time to attend to your pups and am available for drop offs/boarding from 8am CST and after.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm clean, reliable and respectful of clients homes and ensure walks/bathroom breaks every 2 hours to ensure your pet gets proper exercise and attention. I live in a lovely 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house right off of Halstead. My Sister and Brother live upstairs while I live on the bottom floor which is a separate 1bd 1 bath unit with plenty of space and pet-friendly flooring and furniture, making it easy to clean up any messes or accidents. The house is also fully equipped with everything your dog needs, including food and water bowls, dog beds, and plenty of toys to keep them entertained. The backyard is a wonderful fenced space for dogs, with plenty of grassy room for them to stretch their legs and get some exercise. The backyard is also equipped with toys and water bowls, making it easy for your dog to stay hydrated and entertained while they play. Located just a block away is a beautiful park with scenic walking trails and plenty of green space for your dog to explore. We currently do not have any dogs of our own, so you can be sure that your furry companion will receive my full attention as well as the occasional pets from brother and sister!
A typical day
The nearby park offers lots of paths and ample space and scenery for your pup to explore and enjoy. Playing fetch in the backyard has been a favorite past time of mine and if the weather permits, exploring the neighborhood is always a great way to get your furry friend active and introduce them to new sights and smells!
