About: I have owned dogs and cats since I was a small child. I have two kids of my own ages 10 and 13, who are also animal lovers! We are a busy family that can’t commit to having a pet full time at this moment but would love to have cats and dogs in the home when we can! About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. About: Hi! I'm looking for new wonderful pets to walk and take care of! I have taken in four rescues, all with different special physical and behavioral needs. I currently have two Pitbull mixes, one Lab mix, and a multiple tropical aquariums! Caring for animals has been a passion of mine since I was young. A favorite activity of mine is taking my dogs to local forest preserves where they can play and exert their energy. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
