About: I know how important it is to have a sitter you can trust and that will provide all your pet needs while you're away. I've had pets around me my whole life. I've cared for other pets while family or friends have been away and have become really good at reading different animal emotions and recognizing what they may need. Whether it be cats or dogs, I am confident in my abilities to form a relationship with your pet so they are comfortable with me and I will be sure your pet knows they are safe and cared for even when you aren't there. I work at a school so, during the week, I am available to care for your pet(s) from early afternoon (around 3:30pm depending on the commute) until the evening (around 9:30pm) and may be able to squeeze in some early attention before work between around 6am-7am. during typical weekends I can be much more available to check in on your pet(s) multiple times if needed. You can be sure that while I am in your house / on your property my only focus is on your pet and what they need. I will only access supplies or areas that have been "okayed" by you and you can be sure your belongings will never be touched, taken, or tampered with and your pet will be cared for and have all they need while you're away

About: I’ve lived around animals since I was a little girl and have owned a diverse range of pets myself. I grew up caring for my Hungarian Vizsla into college as well, even while he got sick and eventually had to be put down. I have experience owning rabbits, gerbils, dogs, cats. I live with two sweet cats now with my boyfriend and his mother, I’m home most of the time taking care of them. I love animals and have always felt more comfortable with them than humans sometimes. I believe every pet should be taken care of with compassion and a watchful eye. I understand animal body language and always respect what the animal needs or wants for their own sake and for my safety. I’d be honored to help any family with their furry babies! Since I am a university student online my schedule is very open and flexible. I expect most pet sitting jobs to require seeing the animals at least 3 times a day, every day needed. I am looking for another part time job but would allow me to leave work in cases where animals need care in the afternoon as well. Our cats are kept inside most of the time but we do have a yard with a fence that allows them to be outside supervised. If the weather allows for it, we let them out to get exercise in and just have some stimulation. We have to feed them separately as one cat likes to try to steal food from the other. They’re both on their diets to lose some weight so feeding times are in order now for them.

About: I enjoy being with pups and getting them outside! I have a 13 year old chihuahua mix who is anxious and dog-reactive so no stranger to dogs with specific needs. I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule. I am available to check in on your dog or take them for a walk during the day, most days. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to babysit and play with your pet. In addition to that, my part-time job is very flexible and is only a couple of hours a day three days a week. So I could work around your schedule if needed. About: I love dogs. I have had one Doberman, one mutt who was the best, and two English Mastiffs. I had a dog everyday of my life until five years ago when my 200 pound English Mastiff named Max died. It broke my heart and hasn't felt right to replace him. But I love dogs and cherish watching the relationship people have with their dogs. I say hi to every pooch on the street that I pass. Rest assured, your dog will be treated with the utmost friendliness and care imaginable. I work from home so your dog will always have a friendly companion around. A side note. No Pit Bulls, No Rottweilers, No Stafford Terriers, No Husky of any sort, and No Doodles of any sort. About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.
