About: Hi, I’m Samantha! I’ve had all types of pets my whole life and enjoy taking care of animals big or small. I’m a Veterinary Assistant with knowledge on animal temperaments and proper care. I've worked with animals with diverse medical conditions, including my own pets. I am able to recognize signs of discomfort or distress, which will allow me to notify you if any concerns arise during my visit. During my free time I spend it with my 8 fur-babies. I have experience with dogs, cats, ferrets, and guinea pigs. I would love to meet your animals! I treat each pet as if they were my own and give them all the love and attention as possible. Whether your pet needs an attentive drop-in, an enriching walk, or a calm presence for medication time I am there to help! I am currently working full-time as a veterinary assistant. I have open availability Wednesday’s & Sunday’s. I am also available Saturday’s after 2pm. I will maintain your pets routine and closely follow care instructions given. All while providing interaction, affection, and care while you are away. Your pets safety is my number on priority. I will send updates regularly, along with photos/videos!

About: I've spent a few years pet-sitting for family members and friends with many dogs and some cats. I can do feedings, walks, play-time, baths, or whatever is needed. I can also administer medication in liquid form , tablets, or topical ointments. I am currently volunteering/fostering at a cat shelter! I've lived with dogs and I also have my own 2-year-old cat that is living her best life. I am currently a graduate student with classes once per week, clinic twice per week, and a part-time job. I am otherwise available: Saturdays/Sundays any time Mondays and Tuesdays after 6pm Thursdays before 11am and after 4pm Fridays before 4pm I will always respect an animal's boundaries and adjust to their personality. I like giving them their space and letting them control the situation. I can provide minimal care if needed, such as feeding or basic check-ins, or I can go beyond that and also provide walks, play time, baths, etc. I will do whatever is best for you and your pet! :)

About: My purr-found love for cats has only grown over the years. Despite coming from a dog-preferred family—cats are my vibe! Thankfully, fate brought my quirky calico feline, Pia; a cat who magically gets along & plays with other cats & dogs. For nearly 3 years, I’ve worked as a purr-fessional cat sitter—accepting kittens, adult & senior cats ONLY after having a phone conversation with the owner. Essentially you need to pick the right caregiver for your animals, and I understand that I may or not be that for you. I reserve the right to deny service at my discretion, but I am very flexible with time and schedules. Tell me more about your cat(s)'s eating, sleeping, and playing habits to ensure I follow their natural schedule, as much as paw-sible! I aim to minimize any claw-ful feelings in my kitty clients. About: There are a few things that set me apart from other sitters, one of them being that I have completed the Specialized Training Program at the Academy of Pet Careers. At the APC I learned to train dogs using positive reinforcement and learned about behavior and enrichment through their Pet Empowerment Program. I've also taken care of dogs my entire life. From walking, feeding, training and bathing, I have always been a helping hand to family, friends and coworkers when it comes to their pets. They've even dubbed me the Cool Dog Aunt! My mom became a groomer when I was young and I have been involved in the pet industry ever since, making me a great candidate to hangout with your furry friend! About: I have taken a dog behavior training at a local shelter. I have dog sat for family members for multiple days (in house and my home ) Unfortunately I work during the week. I am free Saturday and Sunday to pet sit or just to give your fur baby some love and attention for a couple hours while you’re away. I do not have pets of my own due to housing circumstances. While in a client’s home I ensure that all potentially dangerous items are out of reach and secure from the pets. I give pets their space when showing signs of distress. As well as make sure they have their favorite comfort items.

About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up so I would help out my neighbors wherever i was living at the time when they were at work. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for a couple years and went through proper training on how to take care of and make both dogs and cats feel as comfortable as possible. I was finally able to convince my parents to let me have a dog and I have been the main caretaker of my golden doodle smudge for about three years now I have recently switched jobs so I have a lot more free time on my hands and am finally able to get started with Rover after wanting to job for years. This way I can take care of and love on all of the animals and I can take some of the responsibilities off of another animal parent because I know it can be hard sometimes. My dog gets two meals a day and a snack around lunch time. We go on a short morning walk and a longer evening walk after dinner. For overnight house sitting my goal is to make sure to follow the routines that clients already have in place for their pets as not to change their schedules. About: My family has had at least one dog most of my life, one of which became my best friend, and he (Bear) was the reason I named my current dog (Polar) after him. I have my own 100+ pound white Lab who had a whole lot of energy when he was a puppy ,so I am familiar with how crazy the young ones (and older ones too) can get. Your pet is safe with me, (s)he will be treated like family, and as if (s)he were my own dog to love. I am currently a full-time MBA student and can be home full-time if needed. Potty breaks every few hours, or as requested by him/her. Lots of play time in between, as I always need an excuse to take a break from my studies... My family has had at least one dog almost my entire life, and I currently have my own 100+ pound white Lab, so I am capable to providing care as if it were my own dog. I have a fenced in yard that your dog will be allowed to go out to every few hours, or whenever he/she indicates the need. One neighbor does not have a dog, the other house does have a dog but is only outside for a few minutes at a time. I do have an alley behind my house where very rarely somebody in the neighborhood might walk their dog, but the strong chain link fence will keep them separate. Inside has miscellaneous stuff around the house that may be an issue if your dog chews items, but I can identify and remove any distractions deemed necessary. I have lots of toys and balls for your dog to play with, whatever he or she wants... In your home, I will follow any and every rule you establish. Whatever you say goes. Please give me a detailed list with any guidelines that need to be followed and I will do so.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I can provide expert care for every stage of your pets life , I have knowledge of various breeds and species I have good techniques for safe handling. I start each day by planning in prioritizing my pets care. whether it’s morning walks or feeding schedules or administering medications throughout the week, I maintain a schedule that accommodates both regular visits and any special needs such as training sessions or senior care. I for example, have a snake in my house. I ensure that they are integrated into a safe and good environment. I provided dedicated space for rest for them as usual diet and feeding schedule every two days I give them water And give them two times a month mice, snakes are more tended to grow when they are fed more. For my client that I used to sitter their routine was different it was based on play , tend to their needs and routines. Since their pets enjoyed regular exercise . We would go to nearby parks and maintain usual diet three times a day and around the clock supervision.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I am currently working full time so my time currently is limited. I am available Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays. All day Saturdays and Sundays Be patient and calm with pets that are withdrawn or scared. Pets are sensitive to change and may be missing their people; maintain their schedule as much as possible. When the pet is feeling comfortable, send pictures to the client, letting them know you're giving them extra attention.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. In high school, I completed a vet tech course at Wilco where I gained hands-on experience with administering medication, proper animal handling, and maintaining clean, safe environments for pets. I also learned how to monitor behavior and support basic health needs. In addition to that, I regularly help my aunt, who fosters dogs and puppies, with daily care including feeding, cleaning, socializing, and keeping up with their routines. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of animal care and a genuine love for working with pets of all ages and temperaments. I’m currently working part-time at a FedEx warehouse. I occasionally pick up extra shifts because I’m saving up for a car. Im available early mornings before 11:30 (weekdays) and on weekends im free whenever. I care for dogs by making sure each walk is safe, fun, and fits their energy level and needs. I always follow the owner’s instructions, including any specific routines, routes, or care details. During walks, I give them plenty of attention, exercise, and bathroom breaks while keeping a close eye on their safety the whole time.
