About: I am a grad student in education and just moved to Chicago from Detroit, and sadly my lab and kitties had to stay in Michigan due to my living situation. I've taken care of my dogs, and cats my whole life. I love all animals, and have spent time in the state of Michigan being a dog walker for a small local dog walking business. I have house sat for a few different cats along the way as well. From small-large dogs i'm comfortable around them all! I can be available for the summer Monday-Sunday, Come august 26th, My availability will be MWF and saturday/sunday. Mornings-Evenings I can be available at anytime. I always make sure to see if the owners have any specfic instrutions first and foremost. I will always greet the dog/cat first in calm manner, have them sniff me, say hi, get used to me. Then we get ready for a walk, on walks I'm extremely aware on my surroundings and what could happen or not happen. Water bowls are always full, food at the time the owners said. I make sure to make friends with the animals, and their safety/comfort comes first and foremost. This all will go with cats as well! I tend to be more cautious with the cats so they know i'm there to take care of them.

About: I have been watching my friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets for 5+ years now. I offer a “Wow” factor of service that goes beyond the traditional water, food, bathroom routine. When I care for any pet, I take the extra care and time to play and cuddle so your fuzzy friend is never lonely. I make sure to bring my Polaroid camera to take pictures of your pet while you’re away so you never miss a moment and can display your cutie anywhere in the home - completely complimentary! I also have extensive experience with administering medicines like liquids, pills and subcutaneous fluids to differently abled pets. My own cat has needed each of those in the past so I have grown comfortable doing so and take extra care in the practice. My service is exemplary; neighbors who no longer live close to me still call me up to take care of their pets. I can’t wait to take care of yours! I am a primary grades teacher on summer break. This means I have lots of unused patience I typically spend on my little ones to use on taking care of your beloved pets and household, as well as lots of time on my hands to attend to your needs! I care for any pet like they are my pet. As a pet owner myself, it is so hard being away and worrying how they’re doing. When I leave them in others’ care, I would hope they care for my pet like they are their own. I take this philosophy into the homes and lives of others. With extensive practice in child care, pet care and medicine management, and house sitting, I will come to your aid with a lens of empathy and compassion.

About: I know its hard to trust someone with your best fur pal. After all, pets are far more than just a roommate that doesnt pay rent; they truly become family. With that being said, I make a strong effort to continually keep pet parents updated on their beloved baby. I maintain constant communication and will always ask "silly" questions before making any kind of decisions regarding the pets in my care. About: As a cat parent myself, I like to make sure my little one is taken care for when I step out. They all need their space but it’s important that they know someone is there to take care of them. I can be that person giving them space while also providing head scratches when they need it! I currently work part time on the weekends so I would say that I have more flexibility during the week to look after your pets. I make sure all pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for with plenty of attention, fresh water, and a calm environment. If provided, I would make sure to follow specific instructions to ensure that your pets receive the best care possible.

About: I’m sure all sitters say this but I genuinely have a seat for being with animals. Sometimes I prefer them over people and treat them like they’re my own. I love all of their personalities and quirks. Anywhere I go I ask to pet someone’s dog and respect what the dog’s body language is telling me. I have a Siberian husky so I have had to learn how to read body language and potential environmental stressors very well. I invest a generous amount of time into learning about dog breeds and am always opening to learning more! Currently, I am home for the holidays with plenty of time to care for your pets while you’re away! I have access to a car and am eager to work. Extensive experience with dogs, slightly less with cats but always open to caring! I love giving them constant stimulation and walks. Pets and treats are always given. I treat all dogs like they’re my own. I have an eye on them almost at all times.

About: If you have an anxious dog or if you’re an anxious dog parent, then I’m probably the sitter for you. I have a fur baby of my own, my 1 year old beagle Pete, and he is an extremely energetic, mischievous, stubborn, and anxious little guy. I’ve raised Pete since he was 11 weeks old, so I know all there is to know about puppies and take caring for them very seriously. As someone who follows a pretty structured routine for an anxious dog, I know how important it is to stick to schedules and make sure pets are getting enough walks, enrichment, playtime, love, and attention to help them feel safe and settled while their parent is away. I’ve personally paid people a lot of money to care for Pete because I ask for a lot (literally down to leaving instructions to keep Gilmore Girls on the TV because he likes it lol), so trust me when I say there is nothing “too much” or “too specific” that you can ask of me. I completely understand how important routines and comfort are for our pets because I’m the exact same way with my own dog. I also have experience administering medications and caring for dogs after neutering and medical issues. Pete has dealt with prostate issues, so I’m comfortable handling medication schedules and paying close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, and routines. It’s also worth mentioning that Pete, being a beagle, eats EVERYTHING and keeps me on my toes at all times. Because of that, I’ve become incredibly diligent, patient, observant, and adaptable. Some dogs are calm and cuddly, while others need more play, structure, patience, or stimulation and I’m comfortable adapting to all kinds of personalities and needs. As a dog mom myself I know how reassuring it is to get updates while you’re away, so I’ll happily communicate as much as you’d like. Expect lots of updates, photos, videos, and honest communication. I’m also never afraid to ask questions if I need clarification because I’d rather do things correctly than make assumptions. Most importantly, I want people to know I’m dependable and trustworthy. If you tell me your dog needs a 30 minute walk, we’re doing a full 30 minute walk. If your dog eats from a snuffle mat, has a specific bedtime routine, or can’t be alone after dark, I’m going to follow those instructions exactly as asked. I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your baby, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Right now I’m focusing on walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays in clients’ homes rather than bringing additional pets into my own home environment. Pet care already plays a big role in my daily routine, so I’m very comfortable maintaining structured schedules, walks, feeding routines, potty breaks, enrichment, and consistent care. I’m available throughout the day and evening Thursday through Sunday, and I also offer weekday availability Monday through Wednesday during early mornings and evenings. I’m dependable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I totally get how important trust and consistency is when someone is caring for your pet (I am that person that has given our dog sitter a 4 pager play by play of my puppy’s routine lol!). I’m very attentive to routines, safety, and following owner instructions closely, whether that involves feeding schedules, crate routines, medication, walks, enrichment, or household rules. I always prioritize keeping pets calm, comfortable, and secure in their familiar environment and will communicate regularly with updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am so diligent with my own fur baby when it comes to structure but also play time and potty time- so when I say I’m going to ensure your pet has all those things I mean it! At this time, I focus on care in clients’ homes and individualized attention rather than bringing additional pets into my own home environment (my fur baby is definitely an only child lol).

About: I am very caring and compassionate for animals and pets. I have a cat of my own named Bruni and he is my best friend. Attentive and reliable pet care is assured with me as your pet sitter! I work as a teacher so my morning and afternoons are busy up until 3:30pm. However, I am available after those hours. I do have days off due to breaks, for example, winter break, where I can be reliable all day during those times. I have a cat of my own that I attend to 24/7. Therefore, I am very familiar with pets’ needs. I will assure you great communication and punctuality.

I had to help care for him for a long period of time and I was unable to reply to any messages on Rover. My dad is okay now and I am available for walks and sitting again. I was a dog groomer for almost 2 years. I'm well-trained in animal safety. I care deeply about all animals, so I'll form a bond with your animals. I'm currently unemployed, so I'll have loads of time to provide love for your animals of any kind! Just let me know what you need/what you're looking for! I understand the basics of taking care of dogs, cats and other animals just like most pet sitters. But I also provide what some sitters don't: love! I'm very sweet and I can give your animals great love and care. Plus, I'll provide some pretty amazing photos of them.
