About: I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. Professionally, I have experience working as a dog handler, kennel attendant, dog bather, and groomer. I also have extensive experience working and caring for cats, horses, and various small animals. My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I also have pet care insurance with animal baliee coverage in case of emergencies. I always care for every animal as if they are my own and I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and loved. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm usually out of the house between 9:30pm and 2am Monday through Friday. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. I am available on most weekends and holidays. I only book one client at a time for pet sits and boarding, so your pet(s) will have my full attention. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a huge, unfenced yard. I own a variety of animal care supplies and equipment.
About: I've spent a few years pet-sitting for family members and friends with many dogs and some cats. I can do feedings, walks, play-time, baths, or whatever is needed. I can also administer medication in liquid form , tablets, or topical ointments. I am currently volunteering/fostering at a cat shelter! About: I've had dogs my whole life, helped with training, and often would dog and house sit for friends and family. I've attended several dog training courses with some of my own dogs, as well as researching and practicing on my own. I've helped a close friend and my sister do basic training with their own dogs. I also have 2 cats, and am careful to adjust treatment of all my animals to their personality and needs! I am available Mon/Tues/Saturday. I can be available Wednesday and Thursday with advanced notice. I am only available Sundays and/or Fridays upon request and with at least 3 weeks notice. I currently work part time in the service industry and am getting ready to go back to school for a career change. My schedule is mostly flexible, but I do have a commitment to my other job as well. I'm happy to work with anyone who needs me during unavailable days, don't be afraid to ask and we can see if we can work it out! My dog is not dog friendly, so I do not do any care at my residence. However, it means I am experienced with dogs who need a bit more awareness in their care than others! A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
