About: Hello I’m Marine I’m a bit new to Rover but that doesn’t reflect my experience. I've been an animal lover for as far back as I can remember, and have cared for my own dogs and cats throughout my life. I have experience dog walking at various shelters, pet sitting, fostering animals, taking my own dog to pet therapy visits at senior centers, and volunteer transporting injured animals to get care through a local response group. I'm familiar with the needs of senior dogs, and feel comfortable administering medication if needed. If you work odd hours or need evening drop in visits or walks I’m your person! About: I am very caring and compassionate for animals and pets. I have a cat of my own named Bruni and he is my best friend. Attentive and reliable pet care is assured with me as your pet sitter! I work as a teacher so my morning and afternoons are busy up until 3:30pm. However, I am available after those hours. I do have days off due to breaks, for example, winter break, where I can be reliable all day during those times. I have a cat of my own that I attend to 24/7. Therefore, I am very familiar with pets’ needs. I will assure you great communication and punctuality.

About: I’ve owned two Pitbulls who I hold very close to my heart and have dog sat for friends, family members and neighbors. Some dog breeds I’ve worked with are Pitbulls, Retrievers, mini Aussie doodles, labradoodles, and standard poodles. I am currently Dog/cat CPR certified. I’m currently working part time and taking classes at COD. My hours are: Monday 6:00am-12:00pm, Tuesday:6:00am-3:00pm, Wednesday: 6:00am-3:00pm, Thursday: 11:30am-1:00pm. I can do some Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as well some current days I’ll be gone are July 17-19, and August 21-24 but other than that if you need help on Friday, Saturday or a Sunday please don’t hesitate to reach out. When it comes to taking care of pets - I care for them like they are my own. I make sure they are well cared for, fed, brushed, and I monitor overall healthiness. I report any changes in health or energy to their family. I’ve also given my clients a text letting them know I’ve arrived and when I’ve left, as well as a photo/video updates of their dog. When a client’s dog has medicine - I am skilled at helping administer the medicine so dogs feel comfortable. I monitor food and water change water and add when necessary or according to schedule. I clean up if there happened to be an accident such as potty or throw up, properly disposing of waste. I provide walks for exercise and believe in positive reinforcement. Play time is important so I provide games - such as chase or catch - to keep their minds and body active. I make sure their paws are clean after play/walks and wipe their paws when they come in the house. When I leave, I do safety checks to make sure I’ve properly lock up such as double checking to make sure the door is locked and if there’s a gate double checking to make sure the gate is closed and locked.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life from little pups to gentle older dogs. I believe that dogs deserve the best care in the world. I’m a teacher and currently on summer break so I have an open schedule to help you walk your dog and care for them when you need. Whether it’s a big walk or a short walk I will take care of your dog! I’ll give them the time and attention they need during our walk to make sure that they are taken care of.

About: I grew up with pets such as multiple cats and dogs big and little from the day I was born. I have also had many jobs of dog walking and dog sitting about 5 years of that. I will make sure your pets are fed, played with as well as happy and cared for. I’m very good at making sure there’s food and water as well as potty breaks and play times. If you hire me to pet sit your cute little animals I’m sure you’ll be happy they’re in good hands and won’t have to worry about them. I have no medical issues and no allergies so you wouldn’t have to worry about anything happening. I also love animals any breed and any type of species. You wouldn’t regret having me care for your animals and I prefer you to be happy for them in good care. It’s summer time and what better way to spend it with being with animals. I’m always free and available to take care and provide my service to others and make them happy. I take care of them. We would bond and play with toys. Also I am a person who talks to animals like they’re human. We would have a fun time. I would make sure they’re fed and have water and any needs that their owner would want me to provide.

About: I have had pets from dogs, cats, fish, birds, and small rodents and loved them all. I am open minded about other caged animals besides dogs but would prefer no cats as my husky dog has a high prey drive. I am a big animal lover and would love to provide a loving temporary home for your pets. I am a stay at home mom who is available for all day care. I already take care of my own pets and it fits perfectly into my life. I have a fenced yard and a husky dog who will make great company. I am also willing to travel to your home if it makes you feel more comfortable.

About: UPDATE JULY 2024, PLEASE READ: If you see that my reply time is incredibly slow, it's because my account was inactive for a while due to my dad being hospitalized. I had to help care for him for a long period of time and I was unable to reply to any messages on Rover. My dad is okay now and I am available for walks and sitting again. I was a dog groomer for almost 2 years. I'm well-trained in animal safety. I care deeply about all animals, so I'll form a bond with your animals. I'm currently unemployed, so I'll have loads of time to provide love for your animals of any kind! Just let me know what you need/what you're looking for! I understand the basics of taking care of dogs, cats and other animals just like most pet sitters. But I also provide what some sitters don't: love! I'm very sweet and I can give your animals great love and care. Plus, I'll provide some pretty amazing photos of them. If anything out of the ordinary does happen, I will do my best to help and I will contact you immediately.

About: I'm an art history professor at the University of Chicago which means I have a flexible schedule for walks and drop in visits. I enjoy running and love taking active dogs for a jog around the neighborhood. I really love exploring the outdoors with my dogs, so if your pup is up for it, we'll go for a hike too! I've lived with dogs my entire life and have experience with very young pups to geriatrics and am comfortable administering medication. I have one smallish and one large dog at home and one cat, but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I also have experience with exotics and small animals and have cared for geckos, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, chinchillas...even wildlife! I volunteer as a resident animal keeper at the Willowbrook Wildlife Center. I'm an all around animal lover, excited to meet your pets! I currently work from home a few days a week and would love to break up my day walking your dog! I’m happy to take high energy dogs for runs as well - just ask! I understand schedules and routines are very important to our pets. I will always do my best to stick to as close to your regular routine as I can when staying with your pets.

About: I have over 4 years of experience in dog walking and overnight dog sitting, and grew up taking care of our family dog. Moreover, I am experienced in senior care, in dogs with special needs (deafness, autoimmune disease, etc), and high energy dogs! About: I am a grad student in education and just moved to Chicago from Detroit, and sadly my lab and kitties had to stay in Michigan due to my living situation. I've taken care of my dogs, and cats my whole life. I love all animals, and have spent time in the state of Michigan being a dog walker for a small local dog walking business. I have house sat for a few different cats along the way as well. From small-large dogs i'm comfortable around them all! I can be available for the summer Monday-Sunday, Come august 26th, My availability will be MWF and saturday/sunday. Mornings-Evenings I can be available at anytime. I always make sure to see if the owners have any specfic instrutions first and foremost. I will always greet the dog/cat first in calm manner, have them sniff me, say hi, get used to me. Then we get ready for a walk, on walks I'm extremely aware on my surroundings and what could happen or not happen. Water bowls are always full, food at the time the owners said. I make sure to make friends with the animals, and their safety/comfort comes first and foremost. This all will go with cats as well! I tend to be more cautious with the cats so they know i'm there to take care of them.
