“We had just rescued a puppy (8mnths) from a shelter and were leaving on vacation soon after, we were weary about leaving him in a kennel or any other place that would not feel like "home" for him. My brother recommended that I check out dogvacay - and so we did! We Immediatey were given a list of local options with pictures of their home and a brief bio. Since we have three small children and our dog Cody had grown very fond of them, and in additon he loves other dogs. So, we knew that we wanted a home with children & possibly a dog. That's when we came across Laurie and didn't give it a second thought, she has a little girl and a dog. We requested a meet and greet, and received a vey quick response accepting our request. The meet and greet went great, Cody was very comfortable and we knew that we wanted Cody to be taken care of by Laurie, it was just like home to him. Cody spend one week with Laurie, her little girl and their doggy Carlitos - we received daily updates on him and pictures, he was so happy. We loved to see him happy and especially liked that Laurie would reply to all of our emails promptly and helped make our first time using dogvacay a great and wonderful experience and answered any questions that we had and our whole transaction was seamless. We are happy to say that we were so satisfied with Laurie that we have booked her again for our following vacation in a few weeks and we will book her AGAIN for our end of year vacation.”
