About: I have had pets from dogs, cats, fish, birds, and small rodents and loved them all. I am open minded about other caged animals besides dogs but would prefer no cats as my husky dog has a high prey drive. I am a big animal lover and would love to provide a loving temporary home for your pets. I am a stay at home mom who is available for all day care. I already take care of my own pets and it fits perfectly into my life. I have a fenced yard and a husky dog who will make great company. I am also willing to travel to your home if it makes you feel more comfortable.

About: I’ve been dog-sitting and house-sitting for clients locally for the past 15 years. I’m an avid animal advocate and treat others pets like my own. In my spare time as a health coach, I enjoy researching pet wellness and nutrition. My clients know when they go out of town that their pet is in good hands. I’m currently home full-time, so your dog will get my full attention throughout the day. I’m very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, and I’m available every day of the week. About: I have raised and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, all sizes and ages, several with serious medical needs. As a child, my family bred and raised Irish Setters and kept any pup that was not 100% healthy for adoption. Therefore I have experience with all aspects of pet care and I have raised my kids to do the same. We are Tara (49yr), Jaden (15yr) and Alia (12yr) and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years and really enjoy hosting pups to play with and pamper on the weekends since unfortunately we are not home enough during the week to provide adequate care and attention to a full time pup. Our three kitties are very accustomed to dogs but we have plenty of room to separate them if they overstimulate your doggy. Our three level home, plus large back yard, will give your pup plenty of room to play inside and out! We typically run and play in the backyard during potty breaks and go out for several walks a day. The yard is only 90% fenced so I have several 50ft leashes around the yard to provide the illusion of freedom while maintaining safety. If your pup is high energy, they can also play with the neighbor’s dogs or we can take a trip to the dog park so they can socialize and run with other pups. I assure you they will get lots of cuddles and attention and I will send photos and vids of your pup to you throughout their stay! I am available for boarding in my home on the weekends, beginning Friday evening through Monday morning. I can also board at your home from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. I will treat your pet like a member of the family! If they get muddy in the backyard I have no problem giving them a bath and brushing them. They are welcome on the furniture and will not be left alone while they are in my care.

I’m always around for walks, playtime, and cuddles, ensuring they never feel lonely. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly apartment with 2 bedrooms and a large living room. The place is cleaned daily, and there’s a lovely green area right in front of the building — perfect for quick potty breaks or some outdoor play.

About: I’ve always had dogs & as we all know love and enjoy the beauty they bring to our lives. I lost a pet in 2023 and know the anxiety and stress that can come from leaving your pets with someone new. I promise to love and care for them as they are my own. Happy to send lots of photos and videos as well! I work remotely full-time so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pet lots of love and attention! I am able to take pets any day during the week and on Saturdays. I have a fenced in yard for plenty of outdoor play, and a great walkable neighborhood. I have my own miniature dachshund (Opie) & German shepherd (Jax) who are the best of friends and love to play! Happy to provide bathing, and blow drying at request.

About: I grew up with two black labs, both lived until 16, I now have another black lab. I have walked and pet sit many dogs and cats in my life. I enjoy all types of dog personalities. I am currently going to school full time, soon I will be attending school in the city Monday and Wednesday mornings so all time after that I will be open For now, I will not be doing house sitting at my house, I do not have fence and already have two dogs and two cats.

About: I'm an art history professor at the University of Chicago which means I have a flexible schedule for walks and drop in visits. I enjoy running and love taking active dogs for a jog around the neighborhood. I really love exploring the outdoors with my dogs, so if your pup is up for it, we'll go for a hike too! I've lived with dogs my entire life and have experience with very young pups to geriatrics and am comfortable administering medication. I have one smallish and one large dog at home and one cat, but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I also have experience with exotics and small animals and have cared for geckos, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, chinchillas...even wildlife! I volunteer as a resident animal keeper at the Willowbrook Wildlife Center. I'm an all around animal lover, excited to meet your pets! I currently work from home a few days a week and would love to break up my day walking your dog! I’m happy to take high energy dogs for runs as well - just ask!
