About: I have worked I Dogtopia Lagrange for over a year now, I have also been a pet sitter in years prior and love to hangout with all different types of pups I do work my morning at Dogtopia of Lagrange Monday-Friday if your pup is already a pup that visit I can take them along with me if wanted but the rest of the day after work ( at 1pm) I have the rest of the day to have the most fun we can. First getting a dog used to a new environment/person is my first priority than, Lots of walks for your pups, if needed can crate, and lots and lots of cuddles.

About: I have raised and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, all sizes and ages, several with serious medical needs. As a child, my family bred and raised Irish Setters and kept any pup that was not 100% healthy for adoption. Therefore I have experience with all aspects of pet care and I have raised my kids to do the same. We are Tara (49yr), Jaden (15yr) and Alia (12yr) and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years and really enjoy hosting pups to play with and pamper on the weekends since unfortunately we are not home enough during the week to provide adequate care and attention to a full time pup. Our three kitties are very accustomed to dogs but we have plenty of room to separate them if they overstimulate your doggy. Our three level home, plus large back yard, will give your pup plenty of room to play inside and out! We typically run and play in the backyard during potty breaks and go out for several walks a day. The yard is only 90% fenced so I have several 50ft leashes around the yard to provide the illusion of freedom while maintaining safety. If your pup is high energy, they can also play with the neighbor’s dogs or we can take a trip to the dog park so they can socialize and run with other pups. I assure you they will get lots of cuddles and attention and I will send photos and vids of your pup to you throughout their stay! I am available for boarding in my home on the weekends, beginning Friday evening through Monday morning. I can also board at your home from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. I will treat your pet like a member of the family! If they get muddy in the backyard I have no problem giving them a bath and brushing them. They are welcome on the furniture and will not be left alone while they are in my care.

I currently care for two large dogs of my own, so regular walks, feeding schedules, and outdoor time are built into my day. As a student, my schedule varies slightly week to week, but it also provides flexibility that allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening visits depending on what works best for each dog’s routine. I’m very intentional about planning my day so that pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and care. I understand how important routine and reliability are for both dogs and their owners, so I always make sure feeding schedules, walk times, and any special instructions are followed closely. My goal is to provide dependable care that keeps your dog comfortable and happy while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is to keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. Dogs tend to feel most relaxed in their own environment, so I make sure to follow their normal schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and rest. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and energy level whether they prefer an active walk, playtime, or a slower pace with plenty of affection. I always make sure fresh water is available, feeding instructions are followed carefully, and collars or harnesses are secure before walks. I also understand how important trust is when someone is entering your home to care for your pet. I treat every home with the same respect and care that I would my own, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so owners know their dog is happy and well cared for. I had to help care for him for a long period of time and I was unable to reply to any messages on Rover. My dad is okay now and I am available for walks and sitting again.
