Mary took Monty out for a walk, fed him, and even has grassy areas in her backyard for him to enjoy. She kept us updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which we really appreciated. About: I have raised and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, all sizes and ages, several with serious medical needs. As a child, my family bred and raised Irish Setters and kept any pup that was not 100% healthy for adoption. Therefore I have experience with all aspects of pet care and I have raised my kids to do the same. We are Tara (49yr), Jaden (15yr) and Alia (12yr) and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years and really enjoy hosting pups to play with and pamper on the weekends since unfortunately we are not home enough during the week to provide adequate care and attention to a full time pup. Our three kitties are very accustomed to dogs but we have plenty of room to separate them if they overstimulate your doggy. Our three level home, plus large back yard, will give your pup plenty of room to play inside and out! We typically run and play in the backyard during potty breaks and go out for several walks a day. The yard is only 90% fenced so I have several 50ft leashes around the yard to provide the illusion of freedom while maintaining safety. If your pup is high energy, they can also play with the neighbor’s dogs or we can take a trip to the dog park so they can socialize and run with other pups. I assure you they will get lots of cuddles and attention and I will send photos and vids of your pup to you throughout their stay! I am available for boarding in my home on the weekends, beginning Friday evening through Monday morning. I can also board at your home from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. I will treat your pet like a member of the family! If they get muddy in the backyard I have no problem giving them a bath and brushing them. They are welcome on the furniture and will not be left alone while they are in my care.

About: I started pet sitting as a teenager for neighbors and family friends. Since then, I have watched all types of dogs, including senior dogs. I became a dog owner for the first time in my mid-twenties. He was an elderly beagle mix with health issues. After he passed, I grieved until I was ready to own a dog again. Then I had ten wonderful years with Shadow, a husky mix who was a stray that made his way to a rescue. He bravely fought lymphoma for 1.5 years before succumbing to the disease. Through that time, I provided medication, took him for chemotherapy, and spoiled him until he decided it was time to cross the rainbow bridge. Shadow's absence still leaves a void in my heart that is filled by caring for other people's dogs. I love all types of dogs, and have experience with small to large, young and old, as well as dogs living with various health issues. Giving dog owners the security and piece of mind knowing their furry family members are safe and sound while they are away is a responsibility that I take very seriously. My husband and I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood and our backyard is fully fenced. As a dog lover himself, anyone who books with me gets their pup double the love. My full time job is permanently remote, so I am able to be at home with your dog at all times. No matter their schedule, I can meet it because I can be here to fulfill their needs. I have a fenced in yard for safety, and a dog-friendly neighborhood where your dog will feel right at home. I know every dog has different needs, so I can follow the habits you have created with them to maintain consistency. Whether that is crate training or sleeping on the couch, I will follow your instructions. I know that dogs are family, and treat them as such.
