I used to volunteer in the kennels at West Suburban Humane Society in Downers Grove. I have fostered over 80 dogs and puppies from area rescues including Peace for Pits, Chicagoland Bully Breed, Forget Me Not Rescue and others. Your dog will be treated like a member of my family. I have a 5 ft and 6 ft cedar fenced in double lot in Brookfield. Please contact me for more information!

Tamara has been great! Tamara is responsive and trustworthy. She’s flexible with my odd work hours and has been able to make last minute requests work. She does well with my very large dog and he loves spending time with her. I appreciate all her pictures and it’s been a big piece of mind knowing he’s taken care of when I’m at work. Tamara’s very thoughtful and will leave treats for my big guy which he loves! Would highly recommend!

Tamara dropped in to check on our dog while we were out of town for a week. She came to our home twice a day and sometimes 3 to check on our dog. She was amazing and we felt our pet was well cared for while we were gone. Tamara sent us pictures and videos at every visit. We could tell how much she cared for our dog. I highly recommend her and would not hesitate to hire her again.
Tamara truly goes above and beyond, treating both my dogs and my home with so much care, thoughtfulness, and respect. She has even fed them after walks and spent extra time sitting with them, never asking for anything additional. My dogs are like my children, so it means the world to me to know they are being cared for so lovingly and responsibly. She is also excellent with handling them on their leads, which is something many people do not know how to do properly. She walks at exactly the right pace for them, making sure they get good exercise while still giving them time to explore, enjoy themselves, and just be dogs. What stands out most is that my babies are never treated like just another job. Tamara treats them like they are special, valued clients. She gives them treats, attention, and genuine affection every time she sees them, and it is obvious that she truly cares. Dogs are incredibly social and intuitive, and they absolutely notice the difference. I feel so lucky to have found someone I trust this much with them.

Schedule
I am currently unemployed. Otherwise I’m home a majority of the time with my 1 adult dog and newly adopted puppy (now 9-10 months old). If I needed to be gone for a long amount of time, my fiancé is home for potty breaks and meal breaks. Daily walks given.

Safety, trust & environment
If it’s for in home boarding, I have a ring doorbell and Ring cameras. My dogs aren’t allowed outside alone for extended periods of time. Trust and safety is my concern. I have prior law enforcement experience as well.
Pets
A typical day
Hanging around the house, cuddling on the couch or in bed (if allowed by client). Daily walk(s). Access to fenced in backyard and a storm door with doggie door for potty breaks.
