**PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO SAFETY AND INSURANCE LIABILITY, I CAN NO LONGER ALLOW CLIENTS IN MY HOME** If meet & greets are required, they will be done outside in my backyard or at local park. I am willing to come by your home in advance to introduce myself and meet your dog(s) prior to boarding. Thank you for understanding. I am a disabled / former police officer. Since I am disabled, I work from home part time (self employed / entrepreneur). I am home a majority of the time with my 2 adult dogs. If I needed to be gone for a long amount of time, my fiancé is home for potty breaks and meal breaks. Daily walks given.

Please no destructive dogs. I’ve had so many rescue dogs in my home, I understand some damage comes with the territory but excessive damage isn’t ideal. Please provide any information about your dog so I can make sure he or she gets the proper care they deserve!

Hanging around the house, cuddling on the couch or in bed (if allowed by client). Daily walk(s). Access to fenced in backyard and a storm door with doggie door for potty breaks.

I used to volunteer in the kennels at West Suburban Humane Society in Downers Grove. I have fostered over 80 dogs and puppies from area rescues including Peace for Pits, Chicagoland Bully Breed, Forget Me Not Rescue and Magnificent Mutts. Your dog will be treated like a member of my family. I have a 5 ft and 6 ft cedar fenced in double lot in Brookfield. Tamara was very responsive and easy to work with. Ellie loved playing with her dogs Maggie and Paulie. It was such a relief to see Ellie having fun everyday while we were on our trip!

Tamara has been great! Tamara is responsive and trustworthy. She’s flexible with my odd work hours and has been able to make last minute requests work. She does well with my very large dog and he loves spending time with her. I appreciate all her pictures and it’s been a big piece of mind knowing he’s taken care of when I’m at work. Tamara’s very thoughtful and will leave treats for my big guy which he loves! Would highly recommend!
