I used to volunteer in the kennels at West Suburban Humane Society in Downers Grove. I have fostered over 80 dogs and puppies from area rescues including Peace for Pits, Chicagoland Bully Breed, Forget Me Not Rescue and Magnificent Mutts. Your dog will be treated like a member of my family. I have a 5 ft and 6 ft cedar fenced in double lot in Brookfield. Please contact me for more information! **PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO SAFETY AND INSURANCE LIABILITY, I CAN NO LONGER ALLOW CLIENTS IN MY HOME** If meet & greets are required, they will be done outside in my backyard or at local park. So grateful for Tamara and her pups! It’s a fun vacation for Wiggles every time she stays with them. Wiggles, unfortunately, wore a cone and itchy paws when we dropped her off and Tamara was so helpful making sure she had her medicine 2x a day and topical on Wiggles. When we returned, Wiggles was feeling so much better! 💖
Tamara is great! Very accommodating and flexible. She stayed in communication the whole time, which was very nice for my first time using Rover. You can tell she really loves and cares about your pets.
Willy had a great stay with Tamara and the other dogs. We received cute photos while we were away and Willy seemed like he enjoyed his stay.
Tamara has been a tremendous dog walker for our dog Dickens. She’s friendly and very good with our dogs and has been attentive, on time, as well as very responsible. She scheduled a meeting with our dogs and with us prior to booking to make sure everyone was comfortable. Would highly recommend Tamara to anyone for her wonderful skills.
I was nervous about leaving our sweet dog for the longest stretch so far, but I immediately felt comfortable with Tamara. She sent videos, photos and updates to show how well our dog adjusted. She is a lovely, caring person who I fully trust with my dog and highly recommend!
Tamara was wonderful. Sent me timely updates and kept me posted on my pup. Will definitely rebook with her again in the future!

Since I am disabled, I work from home part time (self employed / entrepreneur). I am home a majority of the time with my 2 adult dogs. If I needed to be gone for a long amount of time, my fiancé is home for potty breaks and meal breaks. Daily walks given.

Safety, trust & environment
If it’s for in home boarding, I have a ring doorbell and Ring cameras. My dogs aren’t allowed outside alone for extended periods of time. Trust and safety is my concern. I have prior law enforcement experience as well.

A typical day
Hanging around the house, cuddling on the couch or in bed (if allowed by client). Daily walk(s). Access to fenced in backyard and a storm door with doggie door for potty breaks.
