My love for animals comes from raising my own dogs, especially my sweet girl, Roxi, whom I was fortunate to have from the time she was a puppy until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2026 at 15 years old. Caring for her through every stage of life gave me firsthand experience with senior dog care, medication schedules, mobility assistance, and the extra patience, compassion, and love that aging pets deserve. When I went to drop of Frankie, I felt at ease when Frankie immediately started to pull towards Dezmond's house and happily went with him when I handed him the leash. Frankie has severe separation anxiety, but when we got to Dezmond's Frankie could not care less that I was leaving! It felt good to see how happy and comfortable Frankie was to be there. Dezmond was very communicative and kept me updated throughout the day. Frankie had a great time during his stay, loved playing with Dezmond's dogs and didn't want to leave! He left a tired, happy boy. I would recommend Dezmond and his wife again and also look forward to having Frankie have future visits with them too!”

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was young, though never as an official job, mostly for family and friends. I grew up surrounded by animals, including many dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Currently, I have an older Border Collie and a Chihuahua, and they make my days so much better! I love going on daily walks with dogs and playing fetch with them in the backyard. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel loved, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently not working, so I spend a lot of time at home and have plenty of flexibility to care for your dog. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and at home. Typically, the first thing I do in the morning is let the dogs outside to go potty, followed by breakfast. I also enjoy going for walks during the morning and again in the afternoon, so your dog can get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention throughout the day. i have a fenced yard and 2 trained dogs to keep your baby with company. I have a large crate at home, which I normally only use for my Border Collie during thunderstorms, as it helps him feel safe. However, if you feel that it would be best to separate the dogs at any point, I have the space and can safely accommodate one of them in the crate if needed.
