“Angelina was wonderful! She took great care of our elderly cat and had helpful suggestions for some of his ailments. We will definitely have her back again the next time we are traveling.”
About: I am a grad student in education and just moved to Chicago from Detroit, and sadly my lab and kitties had to stay in Michigan due to my living situation. I've taken care of my dogs, and cats my whole life. I love all animals, and have spent time in the state of Michigan being a dog walker for a small local dog walking business. I have house sat for a few different cats along the way as well. From small-large dogs i'm comfortable around them all! I can be available for the summer Monday-Sunday, Come august 26th, My availability will be MWF and saturday/sunday. Mornings-Evenings I can be available at anytime. I always make sure to see if the owners have any specfic instrutions first and foremost. I will always greet the dog/cat first in calm manner, have them sniff me, say hi, get used to me. Then we get ready for a walk, on walks I'm extremely aware on my surroundings and what could happen or not happen. Water bowls are always full, food at the time the owners said. I make sure to make friends with the animals, and their safety/comfort comes first and foremost. This all will go with cats as well! I tend to be more cautious with the cats so they know i'm there to take care of them.
About: I had a husky/German shepherd mix as a child and always had cats growing up. In my 20s, I had a retired greyhound. I adopted my current pup, a lab mix named Murphy, during the pandemic and he is my best friend. I work from home 3 days a week. Murphy mostly naps all day and I take him out for 4-6 potty breaks a day and we walk at least 2 miles per day. I take care of my pup daily and take him out on regular walks and potty breaks. I have an apartment but there is plenty of space for us to roam about comfortably. I allow my pup the comfort of roaming about the apartment freely. I would allow your dog the same comfort. If your dog prefers a crate, I have space to set that up.
“Ola was a wonderful cat sitter, especially for my older cat who requires special attention and insulin injections. She handled everything with great care and confidence. I truly appreciated her reliability and how comfortable she made me feel knowing my cats were in good hands. Highly recommend! :)”

“Jamie Q. is an outstanding sitter. My cats, who are seniors aged thirteen and twenty, have special needs, and she did an excellent job of feeding them and administering medication to one of them twice a day. The cats enjoyed going out on the balcony to feel the sun and the breeze. Jamie also took pictures of them waiting for their food, eating, and drinking water from their fountain. They felt comfortable and well cared for. I truly appreciate her kindness and the effort she put in over the long weekend. Her work was remarkable. Kudos to Jamie Q.!”

“Natalia was absolutely amazing. From our first message to her first meeting my dog and through her multiple drop-in visits while I was in the city for work, I was really impressed with her responsiveness and care for Archie. I rescued him a few months ago and work remotely, so this was the first time he'd had someone who wasn't me come to visit him, and he immediately warmed to her and was excited to see her. Natalia was prompt, followed all instructions clearly, and was great about letting me know when her visits started and sendig pictures of their time together. I will definitely be using Natalia again and can't recommend her enough!”

About: Working in the animal welfare field for a few years now has allowed me to obtain lots of skills other sitters may not obtain. Need to give your pet medication as you are gone? No problem for this experienced veterinary technician! Have an additional set of ease, for you know that your pet is with a sitter that has been trained in first aid, CPR, and even anesthesia! I know what to look for when your pet is staying outside of home. With time I have for my online college courses, I can have the best of both worlds. Sitting your pet while also furthering my education simultaneously. Your pet will truly enjoy my two sided fully fenced backyard! Lots of room to run around and chase a ball or chill on the patio if wanted. Fortunately, pets are allowed on my couch as well, allowing them to snuggle and have comfortablity in my home.
About: My family and I have owned dogs for my entire life, there has never been a day in my life that I have not had a dog around, from small dogs to medium and large sized dogs. I am used to pets ranging from passive and relaxed, to dogs with anxiety and possession, and I find the unique ways to interact with each pet respectively. I have a 12lb Cockapoo, Badger, who I also have with me for any pet that I will be boarding or doing doggie daycare for. It’s always nice for them to have fellow furry friends to spend time with! I am used to different harnesses and leashes and feel comfortable working with dogs of all ages and sizes. Someone is home at all time of day, so when I’m hosting your fur-iend for boarding or doggie daycare, they never will be without snuggles, playtime, and potty breaks! When I stay at your house with your pet, I do work out of the house Monday - Friday so I am gone from 6am-4pm. I know that can be a long time for some pets, so I like to be open about my schedule in advance. Having experience with dogs who like to get in to all of the things they aren't supposed to, I have learned how to pet-proof my house by keeping trash cans closed, picking up food/items that pets should not get in to, and keeping security cameras in my unit to check on the pets' safety while I am out of the house.
About: I'm a teacher who is on summer break and I will have a lot of time to care for your pet! I have had dogs my entire life. I have experience training puppies and caring for senior dogs. I adopted my first dog when I was 15 years old and she my my companion for 15 years. I eventually adopted a senior dog named Angus and he was my companion for 5 1/2 years. They were both amazing dogs who helped me learn a lot about animal care. I hope to spend my time this summer hanging out with and caring for your pet! I will be available after June 3 every day of the week. I do not work during the summer regularly, so I have a lot of time to spend with your pet! I will be unavailable from 9:00am-11:00am Monday-Thursday during the month of June while I teach virtually. I will also be unavailable from July 27-August 5. I currently have no pets, so my home could be your pet's home away from home! I have a fenced in yard that is very secure. I would love to take your dog on walks in my quiet neighborhood. Also, there is a nearby forest preserve that your dog would love to visit.
“Ellen is amazing! She’s taken great care of my kitties twice - very reliable and communicative and asks great questions when necessary. Ellen provides pictures and status updates and leaves me confident the babies are well taken care of. Thank you!!”

“Thank you, Aimee, for always taking good care of our fur babies when we’re away. We come home to calm, healthy, and happy pets. Our sweet, nervous dog does well in your care. And even though the cats are elusive, you manage to give them what they need!”

“Danielle has taken care of our 2 cats and dog for two years every time we leave town. She’s always willing to go above and beyond and water your plants or grab your mail. She sends detailed updates daily/throughout the day, is always so attentive and lets us know if she notices anything abnormal with the animals at all. Lexi is amazing! I was fortunate to find her in a last-minute situation, and she enthusiastically took on three drop-in visits with less than 24 hours’ notice. My timid rescue beagle warmed up to her immediately, she followed very specific instructions perfectly, and I will definitely be using her services again!

Lauren was fantastic with our senior golden retriever with mobility issues and who required medication. She visited our home for a meet and greet and again for key drop off. She came to our home three times per day and meticulously cared for our family dog while we were gone for 12 days. Lauren was timely with communications and kept us updated on his care providing pictures and dialogue of his daily events. We would highly recommend Lauren for pet sitting with your pet of any abilities. We will definitely be using Lauren again as a dog sitter in the future!
