Our home is designed to help dogs feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed during their stay. We have a spacious yard for supervised play and exercise, as well as extra bedrooms where dogs can enjoy a quiet space if they need to unwind. We also have crates in a variety of sizes available for dogs who are crate-trained or whose owners prefer they sleep or rest in one. We understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level. That’s why we tailor our care to each individual pup—whether they love to play all day, enjoy long walks, prefer lots of cuddles, or need a calm, low-stress environment. Our goal is to make your dog feel as comfortable with us as they do at home. I am a full time student at Illinois Tech. I started taking care of animals when I was 15 after school. Since then I’ve watched and walked many dogs. I watch pets because I genuinely love these little creatures. All animals I have cared for have never required medication or been over 20 pounds. In my experience. have watched 1 cat, a yorkie, a chihuahua mix, an elderly poo, and two dogs that were siblings who were adopted after coming from rough homes. I usually work in the loop weekends and hope to fill time before and after my shift with pet care. During the week I work on course work as I am a part time student. About: Working in the animal welfare field for a few years now has allowed me to obtain lots of skills other sitters may not obtain. Need to give your pet medication as you are gone? No problem for this experienced veterinary technician! Have an additional set of ease, for you know that your pet is with a sitter that has been trained in first aid, CPR, and even anesthesia! I know what to look for when your pet is staying outside of home. With time I have for my online college courses, I can have the best of both worlds. Sitting your pet while also furthering my education simultaneously. Your pet will truly enjoy my two sided fully fenced backyard! Lots of room to run around and chase a ball or chill on the patio if wanted. Fortunately, pets are allowed on my couch as well, allowing them to snuggle and have comfortablity in my home.
