About: I've had a dog in my life ever since I was 5, and I've taken care of my friends pets for even longer! I've also walked four dogs at once, and I'm very proud of that. I have a golden retriever I see three times a week. I'm in-between school and work, I have a lot of free time to take care of animals. I like to be where the animals are, whether there's a backyard, we're on a long walk, or we're cuddling on a couch watching a movie. I do work at home, which results in a lot of close contact.

My name is Sydney and I am a social worker with a passion for helping others and loving animals! 🐾 My family has 2 beautiful dogs, Kaia (cane corso), and Ponyboy (pitbull) as well as a feisty cat, Penny. Since we have got them, I spend any time at home hanging and helping take care of them! When I take care of your pets, I put their needs first and will always give them my undivided and loving attention as if they are my own! *note: I am not offering services in my home at this time. I also have experience with administering medicine. I work around school hours during weekdays, which is good for after work walks/checkins. I am typically free on the weekends, but please check with me first before booking! I am always respectful of your ground rules and will follow them religiously. I will give your pets all the attention they need and care for them like one of my own! PSA: I do deny walks if it is dark out in an area I am not comfortable with, but will accept drop in visits!

About: I’ve often been told I’m a bit of a “dog whisperer” because pups seem to gravitate toward me, and I think it’s because they can sense my genuine love for animals. I’ve been a dog lover since childhood, growing up with 4 family dogs, and that passion has only grown over the years. I recently cared for my own senior pomeranian, who lived to 18, so I understand the patience, gentleness, and extra attention that senior pups need. On the other end of the spectrum, I know the energy and consistency it takes to care for playful puppies. Right now, I share my home with two spoiled rescue dogs, Chico (chihuahua) and Squeaks (tripod Pomeranian) who remind me daily how much joy and comfort pets bring into our lives and family. I have taught my dogs how to sit, stay, down, shake, come, and spin. So maybe I can even teach your dog some new tricks :) I also know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member at home. My goal is to be their bright spot while you’re away, whether that’s a walk, a potty break, or simply some kisses, belly rubs, and companionship. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to fit in drop-ins, potty breaks, quick walks (10-15) min, kisses and belly rubs during the day while you are away! Right now I only offer drop-ins, potty breaks, and quick walks for your furry babies. I do not offer any home services at my personal residence. If any service is requested outside of the normal services offered, I would be happy to help and discuss prior to my drop-in visit.

About: Having lived with, and cared for dogs for much of my life, you can expect that your pet will receive my full attention and devotion during the time that we work together—not just their basic health, safety and food/outdoor needs, but also the affection that keeps them feeling loved. I currently work from home-where we have a large backyard with endless fascinating smells—and I rarely leave client dogs unattended. My own Boston Terrier, Hutson, currently 8 years old, is a well socialized, solid companion who is very good with canine communication, and will give space to dogs who need and request it, or play with those who share his play style (I monitor very closely). He’s especially good with puppies. I am also very comfortable maintaining obedience protocols when needed, but also flexible and realistic about dogs' behavior. I have some experience with dogs' health needs. I have helped care for my mother's cocker spaniel, whose serious autoimmune condition has required the administration of daily oral medication, including immune system blockers and steroids. I've also cared for a four month-old Boston Terrier puppy who when we first met needed medication administered twice daily. Outside my interest in animals, I've run a summer program for high school students, and have significant and transferable experience handling emergency situations and working under pressure. I currently work from home, and I rarely leave client dogs unattended. We have a large backyard full of interesting smells and occasional visits from other animal friends, from squirrels to rabbits and opossums. I also love longer walks through nearby forest preserved if dogs are well suited to this. I am a very routine oriented person so I make sure I’m on track with all meals, potty breaks, etc. I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels and routines, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while in my care. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have a peace of mind while you’re away! 🩷 Your pets will have full access to the entire apartment complex and all the comfy furniture, cozy spots and plenty of room to relax and make themselves feel at home. Since I am at home full-time, my schedule is very flexible and revolves completely around your pets needs. Throughout the day, I follow a consistent routine of, interactive playtime, and dedicated rest periods where they can nap comfortably by my side. The evening is all about winding down with plenty of couch cuddles and attention until bedtime. I strictly follow any specific schedules provided by the owners for feeding, medication, or specific bathroom habits to ensure their routine stays as normal as possible. Safety is my absolute top priority. When hosting pets in my home, they are supervised 24/7 since I am a stay at home mom. Your pets safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a clean and pet friendly environment where they can feel secure and relaxed. I carefully follow their routine, and keep their space clean, and give them plenty of love and attention while respecting their boundaries. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and updates so you can feel confident that they’re in good hands.

While I’m not able to board dogs in my own home, I love providing attentive care in their own home, the place they’re most comfortable. About: What sets me apart is the level of patience, attention, and care I bring to every pet I watch. I have dogs of my own, including one I’ve had since I was in 5th grade, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. He is my priority, and I make sure he gets his daily walks, plenty of attention, and the care he deserves, specially since he is now a senior doggy. I also have a 2-year-old dog, so I’m experienced with younger, more energetic dogs as well. Having dogs at different stages of life has taught me how important consistency, exercise, patience, and companionship are for pets. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m flexible with my schedule, I’m willing to make time out of my schedule to work with you and your needs, but afternoons are preferable for me! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routine as much as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, get plenty of exercise and attention, and feel loved while their owners are away. For dogs, I provide daily walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of companionship. Since I have dogs of my own, including a senior dog and a younger 2-year-old dog, I understand how different each dog’s energy level and needs can be. I’m comfortable caring for both active dogs that need extra exercise and older dogs that may need a slower pace and more patience. About: I have had and taken care of pets my entire life. I grew up in a rural area, so am comfortable with all sorts of animals, from dogs and cats to livestock, chickens, or even lizards! I am comfortable caring for, walking, administering medications, and wound management for any type of dog or cat. I am currently studying for a medical school exam, so my schedule is flexible and play dates with animals are my favorite type of study break! I do not offer boarding but I am available for walks, drop-ins, and overnights. While I do not provide care in my home, I am comfortable following any safety guidelines that you request I use in your home or while out walking your pet.
