She took expert care of his eye (he needs one cleaned a certain way) and was so good to him when an unexpected thunderstorm rolled through on one of the nights he was staying with her (he absolutely hates thunder). Her home is set up perfectly for dogs, too. I can’t possibly recommend her enough!”

“Luciene and Luciano took excellent care of my two Cavaliers while I was gone for a couple of days. They are true dog lovers and it is evidence by their care they provide. I was fortunate to find them while I was on vacation for the month. Hopefully, I will back in sunny Sarasota next year and they will still be around. One of my pups has anxiety when I leave him and Luciene was sensitive enough to let him sleep in the bed with her. The other one slept with her daughter. I can’t say enough good things about the family. They kept them during the day on several occasions but this was the first time I left them for two nights. I am very appreciative and highly recommend them.”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Pitbull mix, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. About: I’ve been on Rover for the past 6 years and I have also had personal experience with taking care of dogs for about ten years. I have made house visits to my neighbors to care for their dogs while they were away and my family also has a dog of that I have taken care of for the past 12 years. Hillary walked in and within 10 minutes had him sitting calmly and dropping a piece of junk mail he grabbed. Amazing! Hillary is calm and flexible with her time if I need to deviate from our set schedule. She just loves Charlie and he loves her right back. He knows when she's here before I do, boops my hand with his nose as in hurry up (!) and tears over to the front door. Last time she left, he sat at the gate watching her go, crying. I can do whatever they may need on potty breaks or visits, and walks as well. I am very attentive on walks and such because I have a big dog who is quiet the puller on walks, so I am used to it!
About: I love dogs. I regularly foster dogs from the humane society and I have experience taking care of old and sick dogs as well as puppies. I live in Hawaii 9 months of the year, so I am not always on Rover, but I do keep my calendar updated and love to watch dogs while I'm here and my boyfriend is working full time I always wake up early to feed my dogs, I am not working full time, and I love to play and interact with dogs all day, and also to take them on walks. Some days that's my only exercise honestly! Lol We love to go on walks. My neighborhood is great for dog walking. My home is very dog friendly with lots of different sleeping possibilities for pets. I have separate areas for feeding dogs so no one is competing for food.

About: Hi, I’m Haley, my dog skipper and I work from home. I have the space and would love to host dogs in our home. Skipper is a huge fan of sleepovers and I love all dogs! I work from home so aside from meetings (occasionally offsite) I’m typically home and have a big yard for dogs to enjoy! I also love to take walks and trip to the park if the dog enjoys it! Any dog in my house becomes a member of the family, they’re allowed to sleep in bed with me or lounge on the furniture. I have a huge fenced in yard for them to roam in and provide frequent walks for exercise.
