I've been hired my neighbors, relatives, and family friends before to house sit/ pet sit. I think it's important to be careful and respectful at all times, to report any issues immediately, and treat the pet with the kindness and fun they usually receive from their owner! My family has previously kept a dog, geckos, a chameleon, fish, a rabbit,and a bird. My hobbies include chess, bowling, music and concerts, hiking and running. About: I work for an animal shelter so I have TONS of hands-on experience with animals of all sizes and temperaments. I have been pet-sitting independently for over 10 years and have had over 70 clients during that time. My love of animals led me to pursue a bachelors degree in animal science and get a job working at an animal shelter right out of college. I’ve worked in shelters ever since and absolutely love it! Because of my career, I have a lot of speciality experience. I’ve taken care of everything from bottle baby puppies/kittens to senior animals. I even had a senior, diabetic cat of my own, so medical needs are no problem for me! I do have a full time job and work 7:3-3:30 Tuesday-Saturday so my schedule can be a bit limited by that, however, I can try to be flexible. Unfortunately, I can not invite any pets into my home because my senior kitty prefers to have all the attention on him! I am happy to do home visits/walking as needed though, but can not do overnight stays due to the medical needs of my pet.
