About: I’ve been on Rover for the past 6 years and I have also had personal experience with taking care of dogs for about ten years. I have made house visits to my neighbors to care for their dogs while they were away and my family also has a dog of that I have taken care of for the past 12 years. I have always been an animal lover and I love to help in whatever ways that I can. Being able to combine my love for animals with my love for helping people by caring for their pets seems like the perfect part-time job to me. I’ve lived in Oak Park for a few years now so I’ve gotten to know the area well and I love getting to meet all the different animals around! (P.S. I’ll also take great pictures of your pets to send while you’re away) I am available full-time during the week and weekends and I have a pup of my own who would love to make some new friends in the area! I live in an apartment with a lot of parks nearby that I would plan on taking your pet. I have a very friendly pup of my own that loves to play as well.

“We love Hillary! Especially Charlie! He is an energetic mid-size dog who can be an "excitable boy" as in happy. Still, he's pretty strong. Hillary walked in and within 10 minutes had him sitting calmly and dropping a piece of junk mail he grabbed. Amazing! Hillary is calm and flexible with her time if I need to deviate from our set schedule. She just loves Charlie and he loves her right back. He knows when she's here before I do, boops my hand with his nose as in hurry up (!) and tears over to the front door. Last time she left, he sat at the gate watching her go, crying. About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Pitbull mix, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. I also have experiences with extended stay puppy sitting where I managed feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and creating a calm, structured environment. About: I have done pet sitting in the past for family/friends but haven't been available to do so until recently because I was the sole owner/caregiver for my senior dachshund that passed in March. Michelle walked my 5 month old puppy the last two nights and I’m so happy. I don’t get home from work until close to midnight so it’s so nice to not have to go for a long walk right now. The walk got her crazy nighttime energy out and now I’m able to catch up on love island comfortably on the couch instead of having to go on a long walk at 1am. We are a repeat customer with Maria, who did twice a day walks for a week while we were out of town and our dog was being cared for by a family member who was unable to do walks. James did a great job with my dog, Daisy! He walked her once on Thursday and twice on Saturday, and everything went really smoothly. He was always on time, friendly, and clearly comfortable with her. Daisy currently has an injured knee, so she needs limited activity, and James was very attentive to that. He listened to my instructions and took great care of her.
