“Jessy has been looking after my 7yo pittie mix for two months now. Ruthie is always happy seeing Jessy, and I know that she is well taken care of when she's there. I was honestly shocked to find Ruthie didn't eat Jessy's cat because Ruthie is just... Well, Ruthie. Haha. But apparently everything was fine. Jessy sends me photos throughout the day, so I feel less apart from my fur baby. :)”

About: I've been the family pet care taker since I was six years old, I trained them, feed them, walked them, pet sat for them, and groomed them when they'd let me. I started to walk and sit my neighbors dogs when I turned 16. Since then I've been doing it off and on as a side job. Now I would like to make it a full time career. I've always loved animals and will always treat them with the respect they deserve. I'm currently a part timer looking for a better job and if I can get some loyal customers then I might not need the part time jobs anymore. I'm constantly aware of where my pets are and what they are doing. Since I'm afraid they might get out the door. Always keep watch.

About: I grew up having two dogs in my care for the last 25 years. Currently have two small dogs in my family. I know your animals are family and I will treat them with the best care. I am experienced with all sizes and ages. If your animal is high energy that is no issue I just left the active duty military and will be in the Berwyn, IL area for the next 3 months. Schedule is free all days of the week, just doing this to keep busy. Hours are very accommodating. During walks we will stick to quieter streets with less traffic, I keep my dogs on long retractable leashes but would prefer short leashes for service walks. Would love to take your dog on a one mile run to burn off energy if that is requested. Will send happy walk pictures via text. During drop ins I will require brief instructions you wish me to follow. Have no issue playing fetch or tug.

16. Rae D.
About: All animals and pets will always have a place in my heart and home. I’ve cared for over 12 dogs (most not my own but we vibed) and 30 cats which included taking in stays! Currently I don’t have a dog of my own since my last passed away. So I’m more than happy to open my doors to give a little more love 💕 If your fur baby needs special care we can discuss further details. I have experience with seizures and pets that require a stricter or alternative diet. My schedule is extremely flexible, if your fur baby has a spontaneous schedule I am more capable of incorporating the pets need and can easily work around it. My home is ALWAYS a pet friendly environment! Any pet that comes through my door is treated and loved like family. Anything that you do at home to make your baby feel loved and cared for, I will adopt. Bonus, I have a fenced yard, with gated stair protection so your fur baby can chill on the deck and watch the sunset.
