Looking for a fur-ever friend!
Hello! My name is Kelly. I have plenty of experience with cats and dogs. I’ve had 3 cats over the years: Tyson a black and white Magpie, Zoey a Maine Coon and Carmel a beautiful tan Tabby. Carmel lived to be over 20 years old! I’ve had four dogs: A Cockapoo, Chi-poo and two German Shepherds. Shepherds are my favorite dog bread, but I love chihuahuas and anything in between! My dog Harley and I enjoyed 13 fun filled years together and he and I, trained together at TOPS in Grayslake. For the last few years I haven’t had any pets of my own—an “empty nester”—but now I have time and room in my heart and home for your fury family! Please be assured, your pet will be in caring hands. I’m currently caring for pets (walking, visiting and boarding) full time and I am loving every minute! Looking forward to meeting you and your precious fury family too! I have a fenced dog run and deck with a gated pool. My husband and I love hosting all breeds of dogs who enjoy walks and the outdoors!

As always, Kelly is fantastic. Our kitties love seeing her every time she comes to check on them and fed them. She’s diligent, friendly, caring and always provides lots of photos and updates. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Kelly was a phenomenal cat Sitter! She watched our two girl cats while we were on a nine day trip. She was super communicative and kept us informed every day. She made sure to provide a lot of photos which gave us peace of mind. Before we left for our trip, she was very flexible in how to hand off the keys, etc. Will definitely be requesting her services again. Highly recommend!
We had to leaveaat minute when we found out my father was dying and Kelly jumped in to be there for our fur babies.
My pets are not typical and I was hesitant to make my request on Rover. Kelly provided excellent care for my 4 hens providing them with food and water, nest clean out and collecting eggs. If you need someone to take care of your chicks contact Kelly. Sandy

Schedule
Along with boarding I am a part time dog walker so there are short periods your pet will be left alone. Your pet’s walks and care will be priority.

I currently do not have any pets of my own. So rest assured your precious pet will enjoy lots of love and attention during their stay!
A typical day
We have lots of windows for our guests to enjoy bird and squirrel watching while in-doors and a dog friendly neighborhood for our two daily walks (weather permitting). Our dog run, back deck with fenced pool is where we enjoy our after dinner socials. Each guest from different households has their own suite to retire to at night.
