About: I’ve cared for dogs with very different personalities and needs, including my senior dog Lilo, who I recently cared for through her later years, and my current dog Penny, who is naturally nervous and needs patience, reassurance, and a calm environment. Caring for Lilo taught me how important it is to be attentive to a senior dog’s comfort, routine, energy level, and changing needs. With Penny, I’ve learned how to give a nervous dog space, build trust gradually, and pay attention to subtle changes in behavior and body language. I think what sets me apart is that I don’t believe every dog should be cared for the same way. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, boundaries, and individual needs. I’m patient with shy or nervous dogs, attentive with seniors, and happy to keep energetic dogs active and engaged. I’m also big on communication with pet parents. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, send regular updates and photos, and make sure you feel comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for and loved while you’re away. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting depending on my weekly schedule, and I’m able to coordinate bookings in advance so I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I provide care in the Bolingbrook and Bellwood areas, and I plan my bookings around where I’m located so I can be reliable and punctual. I’m intentional about not overbooking myself, so when I accept a booking, I can give your pet my full attention and follow their routine closely. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for a pet. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, temperament, boundaries, and specific care instructions before the booking begins. In a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I would want someone to show my own home. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, keep pets away from anything they shouldn’t access, and leave the home clean and organized. I’m especially mindful of nervous or anxious dogs and create a calm environment where they can become comfortable at their own pace. I never force interaction and always pay attention to a pet’s body language. I’ll follow feeding, walking, medication, and other care instructions exactly as provided, and I’ll communicate with you if I notice anything unusual about your pet. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've had dogs most of my adult life. My first dog was a neighbors dog, she couldn't care for the dog any longer and I agreed to take the dog in my home. I have fed and cared for bird, cats and dogs when family and friend were on vacation. I work two days out of the month, therefore, I have more than enough time to play, walk and cuddle with pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can go out and play. I am not strict with pets unless there is a certain rule the owner wants me to apply to there pet.

About: I recently graduated from Northern Michigan University this past spring with a bachelors degree in Education. Before pursuing my career, I am taking time off to work and spend time with family. I am a lover of all animals, though I have the most experience with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with several families for drop by visits and extended stays while they travel. I have a fur baby of my own, my cat Ringo, who I love very much. About: I have been caring for dogs since I was young, though never as an official job, mostly for family and friends. I grew up surrounded by animals, including many dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Currently, I have an older Border Collie and a Chihuahua, and they make my days so much better! I love going on daily walks with dogs and playing fetch with them in the backyard. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel loved, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently not working, so I spend a lot of time at home and have plenty of flexibility to care for your dog. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and at home. Typically, the first thing I do in the morning is let the dogs outside to go potty, followed by breakfast. I also enjoy going for walks during the morning and again in the afternoon, so your dog can get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention throughout the day. i have a fenced yard and 2 trained dogs to keep your baby with company. I have a large crate at home, which I normally only use for my Border Collie during thunderstorms, as it helps him feel safe. However, if you feel that it would be best to separate the dogs at any point, I have the space and can safely accommodate one of them in the crate if needed.
