“Beth was my first Rover walker ever and I was glad to have found her! She was 100% reliable and was always keeping my pup’s best interests in mind! She always made sure to send pics/summaries of the walks which was nice. I would certainly recommend Beth to anyone searching on Rover!”

“Jessica was very helpful coming to our home to walk Dickens and Scarlett last week. Each day throughout the last week she was cheerful and good with both our dogs. Her daily reports were great and put our minds at ease during a stressful time when we needed her help. We recommend Jessica for her excellent skills with dog walking.”

“So highly recommend Nick for your dog walking / care needs . Nick constantly kept up with our ever growing/changing dog. We can’t say enough about the care and time that Nick had for him.”

About: Hello! I love ALL animals & can't imagine life without them. I'm the go to pet sitter for friends & neighbors, & I have 2 cats & a pitty myself. My dog walking journey started here on Wag! in 2017 but I’ve worked with dogs & cats while fostering & volunteering at shelters before that. I also gained an insane amount of knowledge while I worked at a dog daycare/hotel for years where I eventually was promoted to a supervisor. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments & quirks. Body language & reading animals easily is a humble gift of mine. I of course want you to find someone who’s the perfect fit, so even if you’re still exploring options plz reach out with any questions☺️ I have experience with both cats and dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments. I became a supervisor at the doggy daycare so I have experience with medication administration. I am dog CPR certified & experienced with emergancy situations. But above all, I love all animals & love that caring for them gets to be my job! As far as pricing, please feel free to message me! I wish Rover aloud more specification for prices but my Rover prices all vary based on your needs. I am flexible! If you want a 20 min walk instead of a drop in visit, that’s okay with me! My prices all go based on time. So if you only need me to stop over x2 a day for a sitting, it would cost less. For walks, it also depends how many dogs. I can be a good fit if you need a last minute walk! I am currently accepting walks on breaks on my remote days and after work/weekends. If you’re looking for a reliable & trustworthy person to take care of your pets last minute, while you are out on the town, while you go meet up with family, stuck in traffic etc., feel free to message me! I always am focused on safety and security. I make sure keys are safe, that pets aren’t let out without checking all leashes and harnesses, & always make sure all doors are secure when coming in & out. If any of your pets have any allergies I need to be aware of, let me know. Regardless, I will never feed your pets anything without asking you first. Thank you so much for inquiring about my services! Even if you’re not certain you want to book with me yet, you are more then welcome to reach out with any questions. I of course want to be the perfect fit for you & your babies!

About: I've had dogs most of my adult life. My first dog was a neighbors dog, she couldn't care for the dog any longer and I agreed to take the dog in my home. I have fed and cared for bird, cats and dogs when family and friend were on vacation. I work two days out of the month, therefore, I have more than enough time to play, walk and cuddle with pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can go out and play. I am not strict with pets unless there is a certain rule the owner wants me to apply to there pet.
About: I’ve cared for dogs with very different personalities and needs, including my senior dog Lilo, who I recently cared for through her later years, and my current dog Penny, who is naturally nervous and needs patience, reassurance, and a calm environment. Caring for Lilo taught me how important it is to be attentive to a senior dog’s comfort, routine, energy level, and changing needs. With Penny, I’ve learned how to give a nervous dog space, build trust gradually, and pay attention to subtle changes in behavior and body language. I think what sets me apart is that I don’t believe every dog should be cared for the same way. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, boundaries, and individual needs. I’m patient with shy or nervous dogs, attentive with seniors, and happy to keep energetic dogs active and engaged. I’m also big on communication with pet parents. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, send regular updates and photos, and make sure you feel comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for and loved while you’re away. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting depending on my weekly schedule, and I’m able to coordinate bookings in advance so I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I provide care in the Bolingbrook and Bellwood areas, and I plan my bookings around where I’m located so I can be reliable and punctual. I’m intentional about not overbooking myself, so when I accept a booking, I can give your pet my full attention and follow their routine closely. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for a pet. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, temperament, boundaries, and specific care instructions before the booking begins. In a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I would want someone to show my own home. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, keep pets away from anything they shouldn’t access, and leave the home clean and organized. I’m especially mindful of nervous or anxious dogs and create a calm environment where they can become comfortable at their own pace. I never force interaction and always pay attention to a pet’s body language. I’ll follow feeding, walking, medication, and other care instructions exactly as provided, and I’ll communicate with you if I notice anything unusual about your pet. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Destiny was fabulous. She took a bunch of pics of the little guy, which was such a relief having to be at work. She eased my anxiety by keeping me updated throughout the visit”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. My love for animals comes from raising my own dogs, especially my sweet girl, Roxi, whom I was fortunate to have from the time she was a puppy until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2026 at 15 years old. Caring for her through every stage of life gave me firsthand experience with senior dog care, medication schedules, mobility assistance, and the extra patience, compassion, and love that aging pets deserve. I'm comfortable maintaining feeding routines, administering oral medications, providing potty breaks, and recognizing when a dog's behavior or health seems out of the ordinary. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and comfort needs, and I adapt my care to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. For puppies, I'm happy to reinforce the training and routines you're already working on, including crate training, potty schedules, basic commands, and positive reinforcement. I know consistency is important, and I'll follow your instructions to help keep your puppy on track. You'll also receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and in caring hands. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I work a hybrid full-time position, which allows me flexibility throughout the week. I carefully manage my calendar and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, ensuring every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it's morning walks, evening visits, overnight stays, or weekend care, I plan my schedule around each pet's needs. I believe reliability and consistency are just as important as love and affection, so I make it a priority to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bellwood
Elizabeth continues to be a very reliable and loving dog sitter, whom our dog adores! She not only walks Lily, but she plays with her on days that aren’t nice (their favorite game is soccer!) and takes the time to make sure she’s happy and cared for during each visit. Elizabeth watches our dog weekly, and we couldn’t be happier with her communication and the extra care she consistently puts in.

My’Anna has been amazing! From the very start, she was quick to reply to our initial request, which gave us peace of mind that our dog would be taken care of. She’s been incredibly gentle and patient with our dog as well. It’s been great to see how Tamalito grows more comfortable with her- we even catch him waiting by the door for her visits on our cameras!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
