“Mariana was just what we needed. My puppy was so shy to people and puppies. Mariana let us tour the place and she interacted with my puppy for 30 mins. Then the next day we let the puppy stay 12 hours and she was not ready to leave. She had so much fun playing with the other puppies. Mariana sent me plenty of videos and pictures which calmed my nerves. She knows and loves her pups. Will be bringing my puppy again.”

About: I have had a love for animals since I was a young child. At the age of 8, against my parents wishes I snuck in an abandoned cat and it ended up being where my love for animals began. We have had many types of pets since then. Currently we have a 3 year-old German Shepherd whom we rescued from a shelter at 4 months of age. We also have a 1 year old Australian Cattle dog who is super energetic. I love spending time with animals, dogs in particular, because they are so playful, happy and full of unconditional love. I am responsible, caring and will take great care of you pet because I know that they are not only “pets” but are also members of your family. I will care for your pet like I would care for my own pets. I work full-time as a nurse practitioner but just started working some days from home. I figured, why not do something I love while also getting exercise at the same time. I am able to mainly available for pet care on the weekends. I am able to accomplish most evening/late evening or very early morning walks. Every other Tuesday I work from home so am able to break up my schedule this day. I care for my dogs in my backyard, which is fenced in. She is able to run around freely because we do have a large yard which allows her to burn off her energy. We also play fetch and she is able to spend a lot of her time running around there. We also go for walks around the neighborhood.

“Elise was the best pet sitter we’ve ever had. And how do we know? My dog suffers from anxiety and is usually wary of strangers, but I had to travel and asked if she could stay at the hotel we were in to take care of him while we had to go out. Within a minute, he was already showing his belly for her to give him rubs. When we returned, he was happy to see us but ran straight to Elise to lick her and sit next to her. Besides that, she is a wonderful person—super responsible, organized, and pleasant to be around. If you’re looking for someone who will love and care for your pet just as you do, I highly recommend her!”

“Lauren has watched our chocolate lab, Buffy, many many times, over many years, often for several days in a row at our home and hers. Lauren knows so much about dogs, their temperament, their care, and how dogs interact with each other. You can tell she has done extensive research. Buffy just loves her and we trust she will care for Buffy as well, if not better, than we do! Lauren also gives us tips like “please brush her once a week” or “try switching more healthy treats”. Lauren is the very first person we go to when we need a sitter for Buffy.”
