“Diane came and watched our little girl Penelope for a day so my husband and I could get out of the house. Penelope was new to Chicago and having a tough time settling in - we wanted Penelope to have someone with her while we were out to ensure she was comfortable. Diane was absolutely phenomenal from the start - an excellent communicator and made us feel comfortable right away. You can tell she is extremely expert when it comes to the care of animals. Penelope can be very shy/anxious and tends to run away/hide when she is stressed. Diane got down on the floor with Penelope and patiently waited for her to come out when she was ready. Diane sent us photos throughout the day along with updates/messages which made me feel so much better and allowed me to relax while we were out. I was amazed at how quickly Penelope warmed to Diane and felt totally confident in Diane taking care of my baby. Diane is absolutely such a wonderful person, I would recommend her to anyone and will absolutely hope to have her back!”

“Joyce did a fantastic job watching my two older dogs (10 and 12) for a week. She responded as soon as I contacted her on Rover, we talked-out the details and finalized the booking. My 12-year-old dog has diabetes and needs two insulin injections per day. Joyce had no problem giving him the injections which was a load off my mind. She also sent us tons of updates and photos. My neighbor even texted to say that she saw Joyce walking the dogs a bunch and that it looked like they were all having a great time. I will definitely book her next time I go out of town.”

I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, keep pets away from anything they shouldn’t access, and leave the home clean and organized. I’m especially mindful of nervous or anxious dogs and create a calm environment where they can become comfortable at their own pace. I never force interaction and always pay attention to a pet’s body language. I’ll follow feeding, walking, medication, and other care instructions exactly as provided, and I’ll communicate with you if I notice anything unusual about your pet. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
