“Diane is amazing! Our dog Juni is really tough. She's petrified of strangers and sometimes nips. She's very slow to warm up and sometimes won't even let sitters let her outside. There have been times when she boycotted eating for days, and even when we have family watch her, she's often sick for days after we get back because of stress. Diane worked with Juni and treated her with kindness, patience, and understanding. She gave her space and even did some emotion/body coding work with her which I thought was really cool. She treated our house with respect and we returned to it spotless. I felt very safe and comfortable having her stay in our home, and I think Juni did too. She was in great spirits when we got back and she even had a great few days of eating, no stress sickness. We so appreciate Diane's willingness to work with her! In addition, she was very communicative and thorough when it came to the details/logistics of the stay, and came by in advance to meet us and Juni. I would recommend Diane to anyone.”

“April is a very nice person, patient with the animals, respectful of our home and communicated with us when needed. This was our first time using Rover or ever having someone watch our pets (and home) ! April made us feel at ease and we appreciate her time. We recommend and we will hire again if she’s available.”

“Rachel was amazing! She took such great care of our two dogs and cat—lots of love, walks, and attention. She sent frequent updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She even handled our dog’s medication with no problem. We couldn’t have asked for a more attentive and caring sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Casey is awesome! I would not hesitate to book her and her partner Hung again. They took great care of our 2 dogs and house while we were on vacation for 10 days. One of my dogs is fearful/anxious and it takes him a while to warm up to new people. Casey is so knowledgeable on how to handle him. They were best friends in no time. Casey is great with communication and I looked forward to her twice daily updates and pictures. Casey is so calm and gentle with my pups, I was happy to have my dogs cared for by such great people!”

“We loved having Elizabeth stay with our little, old man. She took excellent care of him and our home while we were away for Spring Break. Very glad we found her!”

“Jamie was perfect. She went above and beyond with Bernie. And somehow our place looked better when we got back than when we left. Between this and all of the sticks Bernie got on his walks I'm wondering if witchcraft was afoot! Or maybe that's just the time of year talking and Jamie is simply a great person to hire!?”

About: I've had at least one dog in my life for the last 25 years. It has always come naturally to me. I thrive in multi-dog households. I grew up with a Great Dane, have had many cattle dogs, a beagle / chihuahua mix, and now have my big boy: husky / shepard / great pyrenees mix. I've taken all of my dogs to multiple obedience classes and love speaking with them using their language. I easily connect with all dogs regardless of size. I've even spent some time utilizing my animal communication and healing skills on many pets (dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, chickens, etc.) I live a grounded, spiritual life and have a way of connecting with animals that is not very common. I have the utmost compassion for all animals and I let them tell me what they need. However, I'm not a pushover. I do enforce behavior etiquette as needed, gently. I'm currently on career bed rest, so I have a fairly open availability. It's rare that I have timed appointments, but I do keep myself busy and enjoy to live in the flow of life. I have done and seen it all. I'm comfortable with fenced yards, leash walks, crates, gates, dry food, wet food, raw food - you name it, I've got you. I've never administered injected medication, but can be taught.

About: I’ve always loved all pets! Grew up raising all kinds of farm animals. I currently have 2 dogs and I love taking them on adventures! I have a hybrid work schedule. WFH 2-3 days out of the week. I am a home body so I am usually at home if I’m not at work. I have plenty of time to focus on my pups! I treat my dogs as if this is their home and want them as comfortable as they can be. My dogs are always allowed on the bed and couches and roam as they please. They eat twice a day and have endless access to potty breaks in the back yard! The most I am out of the house is when I have to go to work, and can usually stop by for lunch and let them potty!

“So incredibly lucky to have found Claire! Our elderly Dachshund and demanding Puggle were in wonderful hands and seemed very happy to be with her considering the cute photos that Claire sent to us! About: Hi there! My name is Anna and I am an occupational therapist working in the western suburbs of Chicago. I recently lost my 12 year old greyhound named Ringo. I have taken care of many cats and dogs over the years and love to help out when I can. I was a professional dog walker with Windy City Paws where I dropped in on cats and walked many dogs, and I’ve also worked for Wag in the past and have and loved it! I used Rover once before as a consumer and left Ringo for a few nights with a wonderful couple while I visited my family and it worked out so well! I am typically available for walks or drop ins during the week. I love being outdoors and taking care of animals of all kinds and would love to meet yours!! I work as a home health occupational therapist, and my schedule is very flexible. I schedule time with my patients to see them throughout the day, and can schedule my pet appointments that way too! I have been professionally trained to walk and care for dogs by Windy City Paws, and know most leash/collar/harness situations as well as defensive dog walking strategies if I meet a sensitive pup while I am walking a dog.

“Kyrra met Mack & he was immediately enthralled with her. She is good with dogs and you can tell that right away. She arrived ready to go and was excited to get to spend 4 days with the dog. She sent us photos that we loved & indicated they were having a good time. I arrived home to a very clean house and an exhausted dog. Those were two very good signs for me! I’m definitely inviting her back to watch Mack again. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and trustworthy dog-sitter who will love on your pet while you’re away!”
