About: I have years of experience caring for animals of all species and breeds. Most recently, I spent the summer interning at an animal sanctuary, where I tended to the over 300 animals that required care. Many of those animals were sick or injured, so I have a particular capability and fondness for caring for senior animals or pets with special needs. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I, myself, have had several different dogs - Newfie's, Shar Pei mix, Lab mix, Mastiff mix and currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog. During gatherings with friends, I can be found by the dog. I work from home during the days I "rover" and so your pet will be well taken care of and their needs well managed. Because I have my own dog, your pup will be allowed to join us for our daily car rides with the window down, long walks (at least 2x daily) and if the weather is nice, a splash or two in the kiddie pool. I have a fenced in yard and am nearby the Prairie Path so long walks are often on the daily agenda. I have a Bernese Mountain Dog.

Because of Karissa, her household, and her "pack", my puppy is so very happy, calm and socialized around cats, dogs, children, and people out in public. I get adorable updates from her which cheer me up while I'm away at work. Each morning as I pull up to her house my puppy starts barking excitedly and literally runs to her front door. At the end of the day he doesn't want to leave. Not only does she take care of his daily needs, but she goes the extra mile taking him out to stores that allow puppies such as Home Depot for extra socialization. Some people think that having my puppy go to day care is an extravagance, but these months are critical in the emotional development of all dogs. He is going to be my companion for the next 12 or 13 years. Thanks to Karissa, he is going to be wonderful”

When I went to drop of Frankie, I felt at ease when Frankie immediately started to pull towards Dezmond's house and happily went with him when I handed him the leash. Frankie has severe separation anxiety, but when we got to Dezmond's Frankie could not care less that I was leaving! It felt good to see how happy and comfortable Frankie was to be there. Dezmond was very communicative and kept me updated throughout the day. Frankie had a great time during his stay, loved playing with Dezmond's dogs and didn't want to leave! He left a tired, happy boy. I would recommend Dezmond and his wife again and also look forward to having Frankie have future visits with them too!”

About: I've had dogs most of my adult life. My first dog was a neighbors dog, she couldn't care for the dog any longer and I agreed to take the dog in my home. I have fed and cared for bird, cats and dogs when family and friend were on vacation. I work two days out of the month, therefore, I have more than enough time to play, walk and cuddle with pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can go out and play. I am not strict with pets unless there is a certain rule the owner wants me to apply to there pet.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends & family for years. This includes different shapes and sizes. I am a dog mom myself and overall pet lover. I have a flexible full time nursing job that allows me to work 3 times a week. I am looking to fill my free time with more pet care. I am reliable, detailed-oriented, calm and confident in my abilities to provide the best quality of care for your fur baby. I have a walking schedule with my dog at home. We currently do not have a fence but the dogs are always leashed even if just soaking up sun in the backyard. My dog does not get crated but I do have a medium sized crate and can be used if needed. We enjoy taking 3 walks a day and this includes being leashed at all times. My dog is friendly with neighbor dogs and we stop by when we see them if time allows. If my dog runs into an unfriendly dog, we remove ourselves from the situation immediately.
