About: Hi, I’m Jhadira! 👋 I recently experienced a layoff from my corporate HR career, so I’m taking this opportunity to spend my time doing something I truly love, caring for dogs! I’m located in the La Grange area and have a large, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for safe, supervised playtime. I share my home with my two spoiled pups, Charlie and August, and I also help care for my family’s senior dog, Tony. Caring for dogs through every stage of life has taught me that each one has their own personality, routine, and unique needs. I have over 7 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. My experience includes potty training puppies, working with high-maintenance dogs, caring for puppies undergoing treatment for intestinal worms and other temporary medical needs, administering oral medications, basic obedience training for both puppies and older dogs, walking and running with active dogs, and providing extra patience and specialized care for senior dogs. Whether your dog is full of energy, needs a little extra attention, or enjoys a slower pace, I’m happy to tailor my care to what makes them feel most comfortable. I’m also training for a half-marathon myself so if your dog needs that outdoor exercise I would gladly love the company on my runs! As a dog mom myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else. That’s why I treat every dog as if they were my own. Their safety, happiness, and well-being are always my highest priorities. I’ll follow your dog’s routine closely, provide regular photo and video updates, and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and enrichment while you’re away. Over the years, I’ve also built relationships with wonderful local pet professionals. If you ever need recommendations, I’m happy to share trusted groomers and veterinarians that I’ve had great experiences with. Whether your pup loves long walks, backyard zoomies, playing fetch, learning new tricks, or curling up for a nap, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! Open schedule, I have my own two dogs I look after but have all day to drop in for a walk or to check in on yours! I have a tight schedule with my own dogs and will make sure to make your fur baby feel as safe and loved as if they were home.

About: I have owned pets since I was a kid, specifically dogs. I have been dog/cat sitting and housesitting for family and friends for the past 5 years, and I am ready to expand my services to others. I work as a barista, so I am the perfect candidate to watch your pup for last minute trips. My schedule is very flexible so reach out! I will give your pets my undivided attention while you are gone so that they feel loved and cared for. I have no problem with difficult pets as well, I don’t judge!

About: I currently have a cat of my own -Ozzy- and have cared for him for the past three years, giving me a lot of experience with feeding, keeping routines, playtime, litter box care, and paying attention to changes in behavior or mood. I previously worked at a pet store where I helped care for shelter cats up for adoption. This gave me the opportunity to work with cats with different personalities and comfort levels and taught me the importance of patience and letting each animal come to you at their own pace. In anddition, I’ve also cared for my neighbors' pets over the years, including cats, dogs, birds and rabbits while they were away. I grew up with dogs and have experience walking and caring for them, as well as growing up with hamsters and birds. While I'm not comfortable handling birds directly, I'm happy to help with basic care such as feeding and cage cleaning. Working late? I’ve got you! I work a full time office job, so my most reliable weekday availability is early mornings for check-in visits and after 4 pm for dog walks and check-ins. Rain or snow? No problem! I’m happy to get outside for your dog’s walk as long as conditions are safe for both me and your pup! I’m also available Saturday/Sunday mornings and afternoons, with evenings varying from week to week. Feel free to reach out even if your schedule doesn’t perfectly match my usual availability as I’m happy to see if we can make it work. For weekday mornings or earlier afternoon visits, I may be able to accommodate requests with a few days notice depending on the location. I’m especially flexible around the Downers Grove area. My goal is to find a schedule that works for both of us and, most importantly, keeps your pet happy and well cared for. I know how important our pets are to us, and I want you to feel confident that yours is in caring, dependable hands while you're away. I'm a calm and attentive caregiver who takes the time to learn each pet's individual personality, routine, and needs. For check-in visits, I can provide fresh food and water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and oral medication (pills only—no injections). I’ll also send you a photo and update during each visit so you know how your pet is doing. I’m mindful that I’m also a guest in your home. I clean up after myself, keep your pet’s food, toys, and supplies where they belong, and leave things as I found them. I believe clear communication is an important part of building trust, so I’ll follow your instructions carefully and let you know if I notice anything unusual with your pet. At this time, I offer check-in visits and dog walking rather than boarding.

About: I work for an animal shelter so I have TONS of hands-on experience with animals of all sizes and temperaments. I have been pet-sitting independently for over 10 years and have had over 70 clients during that time. My love of animals led me to pursue a bachelors degree in animal science and get a job working at an animal shelter right out of college. I’ve worked in shelters ever since and absolutely love it! Because of my career, I have a lot of speciality experience. I’ve taken care of everything from bottle baby puppies/kittens to senior animals. I even had a senior, diabetic cat of my own, so medical needs are no problem for me! I do have a full time job and work 7:3-3:30 Tuesday-Saturday so my schedule can be a bit limited by that, however, I can try to be flexible. Unfortunately, I can not invite any pets into my home because my senior kitty prefers to have all the attention on him! I am happy to do home visits/walking as needed though, but can not do overnight stays due to the medical needs of my pet.

About: Hello! My name is Monica and I’m 26 years old. I have lived with both cats and dogs my whole life. I work at an Animal Hospital and my passion is to care for animals. My dog (Akita) passed away a few years ago, he lived 14 long and incredible years and survived two cancers. I recently lost my cat of 16 years as well, she unfortunately had kidney failure and thyroid disease. I miss them every day. I currently have two rescued cats that mean the world to me. I would love to get the chance to meet and care for your pets. I believe this would help me feel fulfilled and bring some light back into my life. I have connections to vets and would make sure your baby is always safe. I have a heart filled with love ready to give to your little or big four legged family member. I work part time and have a love for animals. Working at the vet allows me to provide a healthy lifestyle for your pet. I am not ready to adopt my own dog just yet as I’m still grieving so being able to take care of your fur babies brings light back into my life! I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced yard with a few nearby parks. I have two very lovable cats, but I have a two story house and can easily separate the pets. About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages for friends and family members, in addition to raising my own cat. About: I have worked I Dogtopia Lagrange for over a year now, I have also been a pet sitter in years prior and love to hangout with all different types of pups I do work my morning at Dogtopia of Lagrange Monday-Friday if your pup is already a pup that visit I can take them along with me if wanted but the rest of the day after work ( at 1pm) I have the rest of the day to have the most fun we can. First getting a dog used to a new environment/person is my first priority than, Lots of walks for your pups, if needed can crate, and lots and lots of cuddles.

About: Hi! Im Cailey. Im a sophomore in college studying to become a veterinarian. I previously worked at a pet hotel for two years as a daycare attendant, groomer, and reactive dog handler. I am comfortable with breeds of all sizes and temperaments. While working at the pet hotel I was also trained on how to administer various medications both oral and injection, and I was trained in pet cpr and how to read the body language of a dog. I have three large breed dogs of my own, two of which I took to professional trainers and my most recent rescue I trained myself. I am not a professional trainer but I am quite educated on the subject! Please reach out for any grooming, pet care, or training inquires! Thank you. My dogs wake me up every morning around 7-8 to go potty and for breakfast. I take one or two of my dogs each morning to run with me. I live right next to a park we usually do two laps of. After then my dogs pretty much entertain each other until dinner time. In other peoples homes I treat them as if they were my own! Well talk everything over in person of course but just leave me detailed instructions and I will do my best to follow them to a T!

About: I used to have a dog, and I truly miss the companionship and joy that having a dog brought into my life. Unfortunately, because I rent my current home, I can't own a dog right now. To recapture that wonderful feeling, I've decided to walk dogs in my spare time. It allows me to experience the happiness of being around dogs again, even if I can't have one of my own at the moment. I have owned a small dog as a child and recently a 130 cane corso so I am comfortable with all sizes. Currently I am available after 5 on Fridays and most weekends. I cannot have dogs at the place I am renting . Please reach out to coordinate what days you need your dog walked I am only able to provide dog walking services at this time. About: As someone who has always grown up around dogs, I understand that your pup is a part of the family and I take pride in taking care of your furry loved ones while you’re away! I currently have a German shepherd/Boxer mix (lives with my family) and a Rottweiler (lives with me). I have previously volunteered at a humane society and have also been employed at a dog boarding facility. I enjoy watching Dog Impossible in my free time and would love to spend time with your 4-legged family member in my free time too! I’m also an animal and nature photographer, so I’d be happy to take high quality photos while you’re away! I’m currently working full time from home (Monday-Friday) so I’d be more than happy to welcome your pup into my home and have a new coworker, taking them out as needed, or pack up my gear and work with them in the comfort of their own home!
